Ebirah: Godzilla vs. Mothra, win or lose?

More like a wing bashing match.

It's such a random, spontaneous fight. I really don't feel comfortable calling a victor. I think Mothra knocked him down (per the usual) and then knocked him down again when he stepped on her wing.

But to say one defeated the other? Eh...

I'm calling it a No-Contest. Because I walked away feeling like it was just the most empty monster "battle" I have ever seen.

I see several reason for the short meeting.

1. Godzilla doesn't know that Mothra larva turns to Mothra Imago so he saw the larva as an allie but they adult as an enemey.

2. Mothra did not appear to help Godzilla and Rodan against Monster Zero resulting in Godzilla being forced in to hybernation and Rodan to go missing in action.

3. Godzilla was just roughhousing with a friend and Mothra had to get off the island quickly.
