Yeah since JVM stoped making them i'm taking over any way talk about Showa Mothra and My thoughts are the classic mothra and had one of the best Showa G Movies to Her.

This is probably my favorite incarnation of Mothra, before she had the beams and the origin stories. The only thing missing was a Showa Battra.

Showa mothra, one of favorite incarnations of the character. She looked great during her battle with godzilla in MvsG one of the most realistic looking I've ever seen and moved great during the fight. I also like her character, giving her own life for her children and battling godzilla knowing she's probably going to lose shows how selfless and courageous she really is.

I always been a Mothra fan, and Mothra in the Showa series was a great character. I was never sure if Mothra in "Mothra" (1961), and the rest of the Showa Godzilla movies where the same character?

Mothra's wingspan in Mothra vs. Godzilla was smaller than in her debut movie, but after watching both, I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be the same Mothra.

I remember reading that "Mothra" (1961) is not part of the Showa Godzilla canon. I'm not sure if that is true or not?
