Good point. Nostalgia plays a factor too why else did the live-action 90's Renaissance Disney remakes do so well after all.

I just wish we got Creation-the one Willis O'Brien movie that got turned into King Kong-Gwangi, or a modern take of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's version of The Lost World made by Guillmero del Toro or Peter Jackson made. It is too much to ask for a dinosaur movie that's intellegent, or at least tries hard to be, and good?

Give me the budget for it and I'll give tou the most badass, scientifically accurate adaptation of Ricardo Delgado's Age of Reptiles.

Eh I'd prefer an Age of Reptiles movie be animated. Also it can't get too accurate as the dinosaurs in the first couple at least do a lot of fairly gymnastic stuff that's scientifically impossible for them to do.

It really is amazing how the original 1925 silent movie version, which is 94 years old (!) STILL the best movie adaption of the book hands down.

Also, we need an azhdarchid to appear in one of these movies. If you want a pterosaur attack scene, don't stupidly turn pteranodon or dimorphodon into blood-crazed demons. Hatzegopteryx would have been fully capable of eating humans with no character assassination required. The damn things were probably terrifying, if the Giant Prehistoric Death Stork hypothesis is accurate.

Peter Jackson would also make it over 3-5 hours long if 2005's King Kong and Lord of the Rings is anything to go by.

True, but I do think he can make it happen even if he was constrained in some form.

After mysteriously being dropped from Hobbes and Shaw, Colin Trevorrow has revealed on twitter that Battle At Big Rock will air this Sunday on FX

Weird thing to say but why does Battle at Big Rock sound like a Land Before Time movie title? Still if it's anything like i've heard,should be fun!

There's a pretty good chance of the Nasuto winning, I'd say. The carnivore is more likely to be cast as the villain. There's also the precedents of the Sinoceratops coming out on top against the Carnotaurus, and of the Indorapror being killed by a triceratops skull, which may imply that ceratopsids are finally getting their due in this franchise.

My money is on Nasuto too. Can't wait for the short
