It'd also be the same reason neither Godzilla nor Kong will die or kill each other since to the audience they're the heroes in their eyes and they don't like to see heroes kill each other like Stark vs Rogers hence the likely team up we'll probably be seeing in the film. :-x
Except Godzilla and Kong are kind of superheroes. Plain dinosaurs are not. Also what about the families of those killed by said dinosaurs?

But the kids. Don't want to devastate the kids.

They probably don't want to have the children crying. Dinosaurs appeal to kids and to see them die again would devastate them.

You're drawing wild conclusions based on one thing that won't happen. See the movie first, lol.

JW:FK sucked and Uni has done a bad job managing this franchise after TLW back in 1997. And no, it's hardly a wild conclusion. It's simple deductive thinking.

"The dinosaurs won't die" = "The movie will end with the dinosaurs continuing to rampage all over the world?"

No, that's drawing wild conclusions. And even if that prediction came to pass, a downer ending isn't bad writing in itself. The novels and movies are explicitly a warning about the dangers of bioengineering, after all, and a downer ending, if written well, would be in keeping with those themes.

Well maybe not all of the dinosaurs will die but i have a sneaking suspicion either Rexy or Blue will. The theatre will become a lake of tears.

Uni doesn't have the balls for a downer ending.

Why not? The original film did. Hammond's dream never came to fruition. He was proven wrong.

Hell, "All the dinosaurs die," in itself is a downer ending, so I'm not sure what you want.

I'd like to point out the only thing Trevorrow pointed out was the title isn't Extinction. I have not seen a single bit of information that he confirmed they'll survive aside from trent's post, just he'd avoid making them monsters destroying cities.

Also, KaijuKing is right, you're jumping the gun on the ending Rhedo

One of his tweets had him saying "The dinosaurs will not fall!" or something of the matter.

The books are about the horrors of playing god. The films are more about respecting nature and our place in the world. "If we can just step aside and trust in nature, life finds a way" is pretty much the mantra of the films.

So, did anything new happened in the franchise besides Colin confirming the dinosaurs (obviously) wouldn't die?
When those fleeting lives destined to die, forget their humbleness and sing praises of their glory, such will shake the very heavens and split the earth, and they shall know the wrath of the divine. The inevitable incarnation of destruction. So, you show yourself at last. Since we last saw each other, it has been 20 years for us and 20,000 years for you. It's been a while... Oh, King of Destruction.

IIRC a puppet/animatronic of a baby ceratopsian was leaked recently.

Trevorrow has slowly been releasing test footage of some of the animatronics on his social media platforms.

Steve Brusatte (paleontologist and author of The Rise And Fall Of Dinosaurs) has been hired as a paleontology consultant/dinosaur designer for JW3

Hopefully Steve is a more responsible Dinosaur Supervisor than Phil Tippett. That asshole let all the animals escape.

I'm wondering if hiring him has anything to do with the supposed accuracy JW3 is gonna have?

So... the plot synopsis for JW3 got potentially leaked.

It sucks.
