Are they actually MAKING this? :eh:

Its a comic book series. They also appeared in Ultimate Spider-Man.

Thought when Marvel did their own take on the Creature Commandos with NicK Fury's Howling Commandos, it sounded cool, especially with writer Keith Giffen sheparding the affair in the affair in the writer's chair. Unfortunately the end result left something to be desired. The House of Ideas best take on the whole Marvel Monster Squad I thought was introduced in MARVEL ZOMBIES 3 & 4 was the Midnight Sons.

Check them out.

Fun fact: The 'human' version of the Wolfman in Monster Squad was played by Jon Gries, who is also Uncle Rico from Napoleon Dynamite!
Godzilla: Heritage

The Heritage will begin the end of days.

He was also in Fright Night Part 2 (1988), which is of course not nearly as good a movie as The Monster Squad, but in a fair and just world it would still be considered a much, much more notable project than Napoleon Dynamite... :(

I'm hoping Universal integrates this into their universe to cap it off. Perhaps as a team up. Or maybe just as an all out monster battle.

I got to meet Ryan and Andre at Denver Comic Con for an interview (that my audio crapped out during) and they showed us the documentary. It was quite good. They did a Q&A after. Here's the footage I releaesd from the interview and Q&A:

This film is a "nostalgic classic" from my childhood.

I remember watching it on an old VHS tape when I was about 10.

Its a lot of stupid, crazy fun with a few true touches of macabre
violence.

Love it!
