Ultraman has been in July every year, so it seems odd to already announce the next character. Usually it's about two months before the premier when we start finding out the next one.

Just finished watching the first two episodes of the Netflix Ultraman anime and I found it to be pretty damn engaging to watch. Between this and SSSS Gridman, I think TsuPro is starting to come up with compelling new takes on their properties.

Also, I think Fred Tatisciore is fantastic as Hayata.

The anime is pretty cool so far. I wish it was traditionally animated though. That would've been insane.

The series only goes up to the Ace Killer fight,I'm pretty sure there's more in the manga

It's based off a manga where the SSSP builds Specium-powered suits to deal with illegal aliens. It's not the OG Ultraman.

I'm about halfway through the series right now. So far I really enjoy it, but the animation style feels clunky at times.

Finished it! I like almost everything, but have to fault it for the mouth animation. That got on my nerves more than it should have.

Why? The dub is fine as-is, and a show that old with modern-soundings voices would just be awkward. Look at the dub included on the Media Blasters Mysterians DVD.

So because of a single error, they should redub the ENTIRE series? You're delusional. I'd rather have the complete Titan dub that doesn't sound like it was recorded with a potato.
