Was originally uninterested in Geed, the boring fusion gimmick returning and all, but him being the son of Belial has piqued my interest. Hope Crunchyroll simulcasts this one too.

Yeah, I REALLY hope that they do as well. I'm thinking that they will because they've had great success with X and Orb.

Well a few years back they did reveal the real names of Ultra Father and Mother (Ken and Marie respectively). So would a good real name for the classic Ultraman be let's say, Beta based on the transformation device Shin Hayata used back in the day?

Don't care about the fusion gimmick either, but I LIKE Geed's appearance, and the fact that his father is Belial. Makes for a much more multi-dimensional character, as Geed's father is one of the most evil forces in the universe, which will certainly trouble him. Bravo! This is one of the more-interesting Ultras to come along in a while...

And then reappear in Ultraman Geed.

Ugh...this is what I mean when I say that I'm tired of them rehashing the old suits. Let's just hope that Tsuburaya makes more money stabilize themselves faster so that they can up the budget in order to produce a full fledged series again like before.
