I watched a play through of Alien: Blackout. Eh, I like how they had a member of the Yutani family as a character.

They did a fine job making a good figure. Still such an abhorrent concept though.

Ugh...Have they stopped demystifying the xenomorphs enough...-_-

Seriously let this franchise die already. This, Predator, Nightmare on Elm Street, Child's Play, etc. There's not more these movies can bring honestly.

Last thing we also need is more dumb characters dying by stupidity and twists coming straight out of skreeonking slasher films.

Childs Play is taking a unique perspective in that it's a killer malfunctioning robot that all the kids want due to his bluetooth adaptability and connection to Drones, phones, wifi etc. So it's a pretty interesting take on the character.

Predator and Alien could still do extremely well if they play it by the comics or at least be unique without overkilling it.
Plenty of these films have enough juice left for solid films. It's just these specific writers have no clue what they're doing

What made Chucky unique was being this serial killers soul placed into a doll. This whole concept could had just been used for an original film. We've also seen killer robots before with Terminator.

And agreed. That's the only form of media those franchises should continue on both comics and games otherwise no more movies or let alone on the screen.

That said your better off just watching the classics.

Especially if they use actual suits which I assume would be cheaper and more effective than TV CGI

The article literally told us nothing regarding the plot, why are people already hating on it? Yes there's been some blunders in the past, but we're getting two shows made by different people. It's not like you're stuck with one crapfest.

Because Covenant had some awkward moments, we should not even be remotely optimistic for future installments.

Why did that one guy see his friends head in the alien sink, see the alien eating her corpse, see David the owner, and instead of killing him, he followed him into the basement, then proceeded to look into a giant alien cooch because David asked him to?

My thought process is...

Put the Xenomorph to bed for a decade & then go back to it.

If they keep churning out bullsh!t the Xenomorph will continue
to be "just another monster" with nothing going for it but a
cool design.

At least in Alien, Aliens & Alien 3 the creature was actually
terrifying...now...its just a rabid, oversized space bug...&
if I want to see that...I'll just watch Starship Troopers.

Do you know what these studios remind me of?

Like a normal person winning the lottery & having no idea
how to handle that much money...so they just go crazy &
buy a bunch of stupid sh!t that turns out to be a giant waste.

I swear Marvel Studios is the only studio who has any idea
what they are doing.

Also...on another topic...

ENOUGH WITH THE REMAKES & REBOOTS!!!

CREATE SOMETHING NEW & INTERESTING!!!

Sure Blade Runner 2049 & Halloween 2018 worked...but
most of it is just forced, played out horsesh!t trying to
milk money from nostalgia blinded idiots.

This man speaks the truth.

Though I don't agree about Alien 3 and Halloween 2018 (Sure better then any of the other modern ones but still IMO unnecessary).

Doesn't really make sense to me, Covenant is its own entity and I don't think that it should hinder people's interest in future projects especially when nobody involved with Covenant will have any part in at least one of these series. But opinions are opinions.

No, you don't understand.

Covenant was bad so they're all gonna be bad

no matter who's making them.
