WHY DOES IT LOOK SO STUPID?!

The dog creatures in Predators looked cool. This? Ugh.

Honestly looks like they threw a pred face on the body of a pug.

Thanks to David I cannot bring myself to watch the Alien series anymore. His twist is like something Prequel-era George Lucas would write. The mystery that made the series soo compelling in the first place? Destroyed. Ridley Scott has killed this series.

My friends and I now use David as a joke term for every instance a back story/mystery gets a crappy explanation.

At first I was concerned about the whole Disney take-over and how it might affect both IP's... But now? Let the Alien series die. Just put it out of it's misery.

And now with that AWESOME new Predator trailer... I have no hope.

Well, least the Dark Horse comic extended universe back in the 90's exists.

But none of it needs to be considered relevant to the earlier movies, as Prometheus and Alien: Covenant are the dependent narratives here.
Tokyo, a smoldering memorial to the unknown, an unknown which at this very moment still prevails and could at any time lash out with its terrible destruction anywhere else in the world.

Wish I could see it that way, but can't. The damage is done. I cannot unsee it.

And with that, I take my bow. Had some really good memories of the Alien series and was honest to god my all time favourite of the horror/Sci-Fi genre.

But after all the nonsense from Fox over the years (Including making Colonial Marines canon), and with Covernant being the death blow, I am done.

Just for clarification, you said you cannot bring yourself to watch the Alien series anymore. Does this include previous releases?

Yeah, I always thought it was just for promotional purposes. Man I'm always terrible at speculating
