Anyone notice that the logo for the subscription variant has a little bit of Godzilla's head from the retail cover? Must of been a rushed mock-up.

I didn't even notice that, until now.

So were either getting Godzilla 2000 or 2003 Kiryu Godzilla.

It's probably going to be the 2000 version of Godzilla, since the Tokyo SOS version of Godzilla is being used in Rulers of Earth.

It varies from cover to cover. Even with the interior pic, it's still difficult to tell for sure, but it looks more like Kiryu-Goji to me.

The bottom cover definitely has Goji with his SOS scars. I wonder if it will be a part of the story if he gets those scars or they are left unexplained.

I would prefer it to be the Kiryu-Goji because that's my favorite version of Godzilla & I'm so glad they're using that version of Godzilla for Rulers of Earth, but I would't mind them using the Mire-Goji.

I don't think they have to abide by a movie version of Godzilla. They're doing their own thing by taking elements from these versions and I like that.

I think they do, actually. IIRC, they asked Matt Frank to use Kiryu-Goji for ROE instead of his own "Frank-Goji".

You and me both. I remembered Matt Frank saying that it was his initial intention to use this version of Godzilla in Rulers of Earth, you can kinda tell by his cover of the 1st issue, but in the end they decide to go with the Kiryu-Goji. Fine by me because the Kiryu-Goji is my favorite version of Godzilla.
