Don't feel bad man I needed help from Grey as well for my first two matches (Despite my name only on #144 he also wrote it better).

Just think about how good of better writers we are now after years of practice. ;)

True, I’m no longer as cringy and edgy as my high school years but I still occasionally enjoy making Kaiju bleed and get torn to pieces in my writing and banners.

Great match to be the first of the year. I enjoyed the action and the characterizations of Grand King Ghidorah and Legendary Godzilla.

Spoiler:
I liked the interactions between Grand King Ghidorah and Heisei Ghidorah, that was unique. And I loved the teamwork between the two Godzillas.

The banner is simple, but very good. I like the inclusion of 2019 Legendary Godzilla in it.

Good match overall!

Spoiler:
I don't know if it was just me, but I sometimes kept getting mixed up on which Godzilla/Ghidorah were fighting in some paragraphs.

I loved Grand Ghidorah's interactions with his younger ancestor.

Well, what a way to start off with 2019, and thats by having two Godzillas duke it out with two Ghidorahs.
Spoiler:
Would have preferred if either the Ghidorahs (considering the amount of losses Heisei Ghidorah is getting while another retirement is likely going to happen.) or have both sides tie, but I still enjoyed the match and the interactions of the monsters.

Also another win on Legendary Godzilla’s win streak thats still going, much more then Gomora’s.

Glad everyone is enjoying the new match. Nagoda deserves most of the credit, I just spruced up the paragraphs and cleared a few things up. I'll provide more thoughts going forward, but for those that don't know, the K.W.C. Awards for 2018 are live! Check out the link here - https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/KWCAWARDS2018

Actually, I have a minor nitpick.

First off, thank you fanofstuff for posting the numbers for 247 and 248 while I was preoccupied. Any who!

Match 249: Godzilla (Heisei) & Godzilla (Legendary) vs. King Ghidorah (Heisei) & Grand King Ghidorah - 4,013 words

A very fun match from Nagoda! Though honestly kinda shocked this needed more editing. Darn, should've let that bake in the metaphorical oven for a while longer.

This really was a fun match.

Spoiler:
Reading the Heisei Godzilla team up with the Legandary Godzilla to fight 2 Ghidorah's really was a nice treat. It felt like a modified version of Godzilla vs. Gigan.

Great fun! :D :godzilla: :g2k:

So now that The Planet Eater is available on Netflix, can we discuss about putting Anime Godzilla into the KWC (or in the KWCE)?

So at one point, I would have said Earth Godzilla would've been an easy choice for the K.W.C. Unique design, weapons, etc. At least he fights monsters compared to Shin, but after 3 movies, he still "REALLY" hasn't fought a monster. His character is also about as bare bones as you can get, and his abilities range from absolutely overpowered to a copy of Shin.

With all this in mind, I can say Earth Godzilla is DEFINITELY not getting into the K.W.C. Andrew controls the K.W.C.E. so he has final say there.

Like Grayshot said, no KWC, but I'm pretty sure KaijuX said once the whole trilogy was out and we were sure what Earth was capable of, they'd put him in KWCE.

Also Earth Godzilla would seem weird being downsize tbh. I think it was the right call in getting Shin instead.

May have said this before, but think of the matches Godzilla Earth can do involving AoT or the Futurians.

But if we can’t have him in, can we have Mechagodzilla (Anime/City) in?

Added in 52 seconds:
Since the MMD video pretty much showed what he would have been capable of if he were in combat instead of being a city.

I have a Strong feeling that Greyshot is going to say no to Mechagodzilla Anime/City since he never actually did anything in the movie besides slowly build a city over 20,000 years. Also I don’t think he will count the MMD video either.

Yeah I can't count the MMD, and building a city isn't exactly an offensive ability. Like the trilogy as a whole, Earth, Mechacity and Cthulu Ghidorah all are pretty great hype, poor execution.

I mean, the whole trilogy is nothing more then really cool ideas, all taken the piss by the writers.

Unless we add the additional powers to Dagahra, Dogora, etc? Which I’m gonna guess thats a huge no.

As neat as the Anime kaiju are, I don't think any of them are what you would call the fighting type. Sure, neither's Shin, but the Anime kaiju are too gimmicky to make a wide variety of fights around. I'll still add them to the KWCE for the people who want to write fights with them (and adding the MMD powers for Mechagodzilla, as 98% of them correspond with the supplementary material), but I wouldn't expect them to be represented as KWC combatants. It'd also be pointless to add the other monsters (Dagahra, Orga, Dogora, Kamacuras, etc.) as they're not all that different from their film counterparts (just with minor tweaks); just stick to their original / KWC counterparts in that case.

With that in mind, I think the environment has a lot of potential for interesting KWC stories, with the Anime kaiju at best being plot points or set ups to a fight. It'd be interesting to see nanometalized versions of other monsters subject to MG City / the Bilusaludo (in the same vein as monsters being Matango-fied). ;)
