That match was awesome. Loved how all the monsters were used, and I loved the action.
Spoiler:
And a refreshing twist by having the underdogs lose.
Also great job with the banner.

So yeah, I guess this wraps up this KWC Month now that its September.

And overall, I think Yogust is my overall favorite KWC month for just how many great matches that we’ve received. They’re all fun to read, and it’s really great to FINALLY have Ganimes and Kamoebas in the KWC. (Like seriously, how come Gezora gets to be in the KWC back in the old days while Kamoebas & Ganimes can’t?)

I’d say Mutober comes second, while the matches were decent, Match 211 is really great match to read through.

And Mechagodzilla Month comes last, I really like Match 170, though the next matches I will say are decent. Not really bad or anything, just something that doesn’t stick in my memory.

So is September just going to be Godzillasaurus matches? Because I remember hearing on the KWCC that Godzillasaurus gets retired this month, and I know there’s still at least like four matches with him in it.

I believe so, so I guess you could say it’s Godzillasaurus month? ;)

Match 238: Dagahra vs. Ganimes, Gezora, Kamoebas (Showa), Manda (Millennium), Titanosaurus & Varan - 4,097 words

An overall solid match! :D Love the way it turned out, and a cool end to Yogust!

Probably Mutober, but it’s difficult for me to pick between any of the three. Match 211 is the only thing really giving Mutober an edge over the other two for me, because all three had plenty of good matches.

I’ll go for Yogust as well. It had a good start and the last match was good as well.

In terms of a more personal value, I'd say MUTOber is my favorite because I was involved with that quite a bit since I technically wrote two matches for it (one co-written), but Yogust was really solid and enjoyable.

Hmmmm, to be honest, I'd probably say M.U.T.O.ber. It had the best singular match of the three, but in regards to overall quality, I'd probably go with Yogust. Every match was unique, and pretty great! :huge:

I did like Mutober. (plus my first match was posted in that month!) But Yogust was just a fun trip to take!

I mean, both of those events all have their differences in terms of “Which one do you prefer? One where the matches are all fine but the finale is unique? Or the other where all the matches range from fun to really well written, but the finale is good, but not as exciting as the other?” In which case, my favorite is still gonna be Yogust.

I also have a question in regards of KWC/KWCE event matches, would we ever do an event match for a Kaiju for having an anniversary year? Like lets say we reached to Godzilla’s 70th or 75th anniversary, and we will have an event match for Godzilla (Heisei), (Legendary) & any other incarnations of him.

Or are we usually gonna stick with a new comer or someone who hasn’t gotten an new match uploaded in god knows how long. Because if theres anyone that needs something like this, it would be Megaguirus, Ultraseven and King Ghidorah (Heisei).

I don't think the idea of holding special month events is out of the question for the KWC; but that's up to Greyshot. Likewise, it's also up to me on the KWCE front if we get any anniversary months. For the KWCE, I don't really plan on doing that unless I have enough matches to hold over (Shintember taught me a lot in that regard, lol). So KWCE monster months are just going to be spontaneous or at least once a year.

He does infact get retired this month, and we have a 3 matches to celebrate the "Old Yellering" of this KWC combatant. So grab your tissue boxes and your shotguns! For the Dinosaur King won't be around too much longer.
