Very nice match, Sensei. Nice to see a match where the fate of the world doesn't hang in the balance, but just a fun, Showa-esque tooth and claw showdown. I really enjoyed it.

Match 221: Godzillasaurus vs. Zilla - 1,905 words
I remember looking over this one, and I will say, I was impressed! It was a refreshing change of pace of having Mr. Tako obsessed over Godzillasaurus and having Zilla return to his more G'98/Final Wars roots of being a wild animal. The fight also pulls some rather creative stunts; and I do love how it ends. A well put together match, even if (minor spoilers) the notion of Godzillasaurus eating meat is a pinch out of character. XD

Good match. As others have said, cool to see Zilla acting like the 98/GFW version again. The action was very good, well done tooth and claw. Interesting to see a fight entirely on the Golden Gate Bridge, and it was well utilized too. That part with Mr Tako was funny. All in all, good job SenseiTeriyaki, I look forward to seeing more matches from you.
Also, great job to UD on the banner. Even if it misleading ( ), I like the lighting and framing of it. I think this is the first banner to have the title on the side, instead of the top or bottom?

Real cool match, good job Sensei! I love the Mr.Tako bit, and I didn't realize they were fighting ON the bridge until later on. I too enjoyed Zilla as a wild animal, my favorite version of the character.
Well I guess you can call me Mr. Misleading because I made the monsters fookin huge in the banner!!!
I like how the text is to the left for the first time, kudos to whoever did that.

Fun fact, I was originally gonna write a Godzillasaurus Vs. Zilla (FW), but I decided to drop the idea of it. And reading this match, its allot better then what I intended on writing on.

I just realized Godzillasaurus was two matches away from the big 100 match absence.

Also the banner looks fantastic, its new with the text being in the side, and the lighting of the monsters is amazing.

It's a crying shame Godzillasaurus was retired, I was hoping to eventually see a match against him and Ultraseven one day...
Is there any way both Shin AND Anime Godzilla could replace him? Both are so unique

Yeah, Godzilla wins... sometimes. I mean, he was killed by Dr. Serizawa's patented bubble-bath formula, heartburn, missiles, and poor box office returns, got his ass kicked by a drunken, circus-escaped gorilla, then he was beaten by two newborn worms, yeah some “king”.

I believe so, it's an awesome sounding matchup, a shame it wasn't written.Birdman wrote:Ah, you saw my suggestion in the Match Request thread?PitchBlackProgress wrote:It's a crying shame Godzillasaurus was retired, I was hoping to eventually see a match against him and Ultraseven one day...

Re: The K.W.C. General Discussion Thread
Again, Godzillasaurus being retired is due to him being a proto-monster. Its the same reason we don't have Rose Biollante or Mothra Larva. And just as a note, the Verifiers are not accepting ANY Godzillasaurus matches. Once I put up the ones I have, he will be officially be retired.
On the note of the match, great first addition by the writer and the story was pretty great. The banner is also good, but I will say I'm not the biggest fan of the text on the side.

Wait, that's the reason? I thought it was the whole "too may Godzillas" thing.Greyshot151 wrote:Again, Godzillasaurus being retired is due to him being a proto-monster. Its the same reason we don't have Rose Biollante or Mothra Larva.

Thanks for the kind words fellas, definitely glad to see it resonating well! (Even though i completely forgot Godzillasaurus wasn't carnivorous... Oops.)

KWCE Veterans are exactly that; Veterans. A la, they appeared in the KWC proper. So Gsaurus isn't going to be moved; so if you have any Godzillasaurus match submissions, you know where to send them.
