Unused Ideas

Since this forum is way too quiet...

To my fellow K.W.C. writers, what ideas have you come up with for matches, only to eventually discard them? Not for which monsters are fighting, but for plot points or side-things happening during the story. Tell us about them, and why you eventually decided to give those ideas the axe.

Personally, off the top of my head, I remember wanting to include H.E.A.T. in Everyone vs. Everyone, perhaps watching Ebirah and Manda fighting on the beach in the Heatseeker. They, of course, would've been amongst the casualties when Godzilla exploded. Ultimately, though, I decided to not use them because I had enough things going on in that match already, lol.

The match I originally called on, Frankenstein, Godzillasaurus & Sanda VS. Gezora, Orga & Spyler VS. Dagahra & Desghidorah VS. Dogora VS. Grand King Ghidorah VS. Legion VS. Orochi, would have been a follow-up of TG's Everyone vs. Everyone story, where all the leftover monsters that didn't appear in EvE would have fought to the death. The victor here would have been Grand King Ghidorah. Then I was going to follow that up with another match, Godzilla VS. Grand King Ghidorah VS. Mechagodzilla (Showa), this originally having the Simeons and the Dianii aliens involved. And where did Godzilla come from? Why, the Godzillasaurus from the previous match, of course. Since Yokohama is a barren wasteland, some dopey general dude just decides to nuke the Godzillasaurus hoping that it'll be resurrected as Godzilla (which works out fine). So yeah, this is a new Godzilla all together. Then after that, I probably would have written matches with this new Godzilla fighting any new contenders that show their ugly faces from the woodwork. But due to MAJOR writer's block, this idea will never come to be in my care.

I had planned a 'Shattered Glass' KWC, in some wacko alternate universe where Mothra and her Shobijin heralds had mind controlled humanity and ruled with such evil kaiju like King Caesar, Utsuno, Mechagodzilla and Ultraman, faced down by King Ghidorah and his best friend Godzilla, as well as an army of alien and island monsters (particularly a cowardly Anguirus and a tenacious Gigan. And brilliant Mehalon).

Yeah, I realised it was -------- and dropped it.

I had two ideas originally. One was a prequel to final wars involving the xiliens. An origin story for Monster X. It was Monster X, Gigan, and Megalon vs Spacegodzilla. You can probably guess the survivers from Final Wars.

My second idea involved Mecha-King Ghidorah traveling back to 1944. Terrorists are in control and try to convince Stalin, who is in a remote facility in the USSR, to invade, conquer and completely annihilate Japan. Compensation for the act would be the destruction of the US plus Great Britain. As Stalin is about to agree a worm hole appears along with a giant moth. Long story short, mothra Leo traveled back to stop the deal but accidentally brings Megaguirus into the time line. A three way battle ensues with Mothra winning. Stalin is also killed. I planned the ending to be, 'Three monsters died that day." And I came up with all of this after seeing Captain America.

Hedorah vs. Spacegodzilla was one I recently planned to do. I won't go into further detail because I couldn't decide who would be the victor. So I canned it after days of thinking.

On second thoughts I guess it could have been a romp if not taken too seriously. But as a KWC, it just wouldn't really work, expecially considering that the guidelines would more or less forbid it anyway.

I was going to do a match called Gigan and Zilla Vs Gezora and Ebirah with Zilla being a normal, helpless monster, being attack by Gezora on an island, then Ebirah slaps Zilla and Gezora and Ebirah team up. After the team up an Xillen ship would get Zilla and send him out with Gigan (chainsaw hands) and the duos would fight. Gigan would attack Gezora and try to shread him, but Gezora uses his freezing temputures to distact Gigan and he would cut off Gezora's arm. Gezora would spit ink at Gigan's head and Gigan set out razor disks at Gezora, but he dodges, Gigan realizes he misses and fires a cluster beam, but instead of blasting Gezora he blasts the ink and his head explodes. Gezora roars in victory and the razor disks cuts half his head off. I didn't make the match, because I didn't know how to kill Zilla.

Well I was I'n the process of doing a bagan vs RED (monster from Gcreepypasta) match, I'm kinda takin a brake from it to reassess my writing skills and also I got a case of writers block!

The plot was basically bagan wakes up (prior to events of bagan vs X) and he is I'n zenith, hell, red world whatever. Red appears and they fight. It ends when red eats bagan. Then bagan wakes up and it was just a dream. He seas X In the distance and BAM! continuity. This still may come to pass but it's using a non Toho monster and it's not approved. I still might spam it at someone though and demand red be put I'n! Also I would have to get Cosby's permission but whatever, just an idea!

Also I was going to write several other dream state matches where red invades the dreams of GKG(before the events of GKG vs all dem alien guys) I'm not sure about the outcome but GKG wakes up and can't move cuz he was mind controlled by aliens I'n his slumber. Then I was going to do another one with Godzilla vs red. G was gonna go meltdown or something and red would explode! Then G wakes up I'n the ocean. Basically it was leading up to red coming to the real world and killing alot of guys. Red vs everyone possibly?

Ya it's a fun fantasy but maybe this summer I'll take care of that. Regardless that's my scrapped idea!

Dude... Red isn't Toho property, nor is it legitimately associated with Toho in any way. It's only the work of a brilliant fan fiction writer, and nothing more. Sorry dude, Red can't be used for KWC. =\

I was going to do monster island vs. alien invaders where the aliens allow Orga to use their DNA and become the ultimate monster, but then I realized it was kind of silly.
