Good points all. In the end, I feel like it can be dangerous to use lots of excessive blood and violence in your matches, because it can become a crutch to use in lieu of making a creative spot at that point in the match.

I try to avoid it until near the end of my matches, that way you know there almost dead or when I do use it at the start it's to show how much of a disadvantage the underdog has.

Hm... you know, I can't think of many matches that have a lot of blood and gore, expect the Bagan matches of course.

I'm sure that would be quite the gore factor in Red King vs Bagan.

I'd say, that's be graphic. But add another monster so Red King can have some fun! Let's try... A GIANT PIGMON.

^ Nonsense...you think too small. Let's say Gezora (Aka Magikarp) so we can see his guts get spewed across the city. :P

Okay, I will admit it, I am a pretty violent/gory writer. Not all my matches are violent, but there is a good number which involve pretty heavy violence. One of my future matches involves mind rape, an enemy getting quartered and many other, um, icky sequences, but I don't let that detract from the overall storyline and creativity of the fight, which I still place as a higher priority.

Or look into Gezora's eyes. Those are true terms of mind rape.

Thats how he will win the next fight. Bagan vs Gezora. Bagan looks into Gezora's eyes and suddenly is overtaken with a mind numbing horor. Bagan's brain explodes from it and Gezora just stands their staring like what just happened? Or Bagan gets hit with Gezora's horror and just flies to pieces. If you remember Living Corpse's old avatar with the creepy girl shredding the guard, (Which I might add was the creepest thing I have every seen) imagine that happening to Bagan.

These threads have a history of making writers paranoid.

I don't have personal favorites. If you're writing for KWC, it's because you're a good writer, and we believe you'll eventually generate a following (our readers are many). So it's safe to say you're a favorite to many readers out there.

Except Chris. :P

Anyway, I'd like to give a shout out to Forrest Freund. He wrote matches for Toho Kingdom long ago and then promptly disappeared. Even though they are dated, I still enjoy reading them occasionally. His D20 section is still one of my favorite parts of the site. Very inspirational. Another shout out to James Webster. He's done so much for the site and contributed matches in the past, too. All of which are good.

This is a hard question for me. I love all the matches and think each all the writers are talented. I like Tom's because his matches are more like stories and are very detailed. I like Haye's for almost the same reason. GG's because her story was very well made yet fast. TG makes his straight to the point with the kaijuu fights. I'll admit, GW's work was that impressive to me at first, but there was a ton of improvement in his work, making it more enjoyable. LC has the gore factor and great imagination. Same with MM. Prime matches usually end in a way I wouldn't predict.

All that to say I like all the writers and can't wait to see more show up.
