Re: KWC TRAILERS!
Almost close to finishing this one, figured why not make a little teaser out of it.
-
Las Vegas was under attack.
Hours ago, it would've been normal for citizens and tourists alike but right now it was a battleground between two massive invertebrates that had just recently arrived, hellbent in killing each other. As citizens fled in terror for their lives, the spider known as Kumonga spewed out his silk trying to get his more speedier and agile opponent who was with relative ease evading the eight legged freaks deadly web before landing on top of a skyscraper perched, the giant mantis Kamacuras screeched out at its foe.
Stopping his spray, the mammoth arachnid made a "choo-choo" sound in irritation demanding its opponent to come down and fight. As if answered, Kamacuras flew down at Kumonga, the spider tried to strike his foe with its knife tipped legs but the praying mantis' speed allowed it to dodge the attack and slashed at Kumonga with his claws who instantly backpedaled, thanks to his exoskeleton though, the damage was minor, nothing more then a few slight scratches. Turning around, the arachnid watched as Kamacuras landed not too far away from him. Kamacuras waved its claws shrieking, it was as if it was mocking Kumonga not being able to catch him. Kumonga starred at Kamacuras with its eight ruby colored eyes trying to calculate what the mantis would do next, he had experience in killing Kamacuras' kin back on his home island, where they were his usual prey, he would have no trouble taking them down thanks to forest and underbush that'd hide him before they knew what came but due to the surroundings he wasn't used too, this was proving to be a challenge.

Re: KWC TRAILERS!
Probably because the two both debut in the same film hence not much interest. Originally planned on having it set on Sollgel Island but then heard from Birdman mention something about homage/nod to 50's giant monster movies and the movie Tarantula did take place in the desert, so changed it to that location instead.GodzillavsRayquaza wrote:Kumonga vs Kamacuras? Re: KWC TRAILERS!
Gamera approached Destoroyah's motionless body, a silent roar of victory escaped his throat. Suddenly, in an unbelievable speed, Destoroyah rose to his feet and uppercutted Gamera's chin. Gamera backpedalled; Destoroyah marched for his distorted foe. Destoroyah's tail cracked in front of him; his tail grappled Gamera's throat. Energy began being dispersed into the guardian's body. Gamera screamed in pain; Destoroyah chuckled manically. The Micro-Oxygen spawn kicked Gamera's shell. The guardian terrapin slid across the ground. Gamera rose; Destoroyah's eyes burned with rage.
Destoroyah charged toward the massive turtle, slicing at him with his laser horn. Gamera's shell was only able to protect him from a small amount of the attacks, the rest cutting into him easily. Destoroyah paused for a moment and Gamera took advantage of the opening, rushing the giant crustacean and sinking his tusks into his arm. Destoroyah screamed and tried to fling Gamera off, but the terrapin refused to loosen his grip. Destoroyah used his weight advantage to push Gamera, sending him into a building. As the guardian loosened his grip, Destoroyah shook him off and drove his horn into Gamera's shell. Struggling, Gamera pushed himself away from the crustacean. Gamera fell to the ground. Destoroyah approached him, ready to deal the finishing blow.
Gamera shook his head, trying to relieve himself of the pain.
Gamera lifted his weary head. The guardian saw Destoroyah nearing in and ignited his leg rockets, slamming into his foe and carrying him through the air. Destoroyah fired his Oxygen Destroyer beam in the guardian's face. Gamera dropped him, sending him crashing back to the ground. Gamera dropped back to the ground, eyeing the spot where Destoroyah had landed. Seeing the abomination struggling to get up, he prepared to launch a volley of plasma fireballs when something got his attention.
Gamera could sense a presence in the smoke. He roared in challenge and launched a fireball at it. The fireball collided with something in the smoke, but Gamera couldn't see what.
A large UFO emerged from the cloud, a hole in its side beginning to glow a bright yellow. Before Gamera could react, a powerful beam from the UFO slammed into his midsection, directly into the gaping crevices created by Destoroyah's laser horn. Gamera was launched backwards, crashing into the ruins of a building. Destoroyah took flight in his flying form and crashed into the UFO.
The UFO dashed away; Destoroyah chased after it. Gamera stood, not about to let his foes escape. He took flight after them, launching plasma fireballs. Several caught Destoroyah while the rest hit the UFO, which reacted by ascending into the clouds.
Destoroyah turned to face Gamera, but the turtle rammed into him before he could gain his bearings. Gamera spun, grinding the edges of his shell against Destoroyah. Destoroyah prepared to fire his Oxygen Destroyer beam at Gamera when he saw the UFO descend from the clouds behind Gamera, its cannon glowing.
The blast plowed into Gamera and knocked him out of the sky, Destoroyah tried to regain his balance, but the UFO slammed into him, knocking him to the ground below as well.
Gamera saw Destoroyah fall to the ground and lie still. He attempted to stand, but found he was trapped in a pile of rubble. From there he could only watch as the UFO descended, and released a small blob which proceeded to sprout limbs.
The Millennian examined itself, making a strange sound. Then its head began to bulge. Gamera's eyes widened as the creature swole and transformed.

Re: KWC TRAILERS!
[Continued from Match 186]
It had been weeks since the battle between Bemular and Maguma. The coastline still bore the scars of their clash that would remain for thousands of years. At the base of the colossal cliffs, Maguma’s tomb lay undisturbed. Snow and ice had built up over and around the collection of boulders, blending it in with the rest of the colourless landscape. In a few more weeks, the rock pile might not even be recognisable to those not searching for it.
In a single moment, it ceased to exist.
Snow, ice and pebbles rolled off the rock pile as it began to shift. The ground rumbled as an unseen force pushed at the collection of boulders barring it from the outside world. It had taken some time, but Maguma had finally recovered the strength he needed. With a strident howl, he burst out of his tomb. Rocks and ice scattered in all directions as the walrus beast broke through the boulders, which came crashing down behind the creature. Maguma paid no need to his former prison as his legs guided him to the water’s edge. He bend down, submerging his mouth under the waves, and grimaced as the taste of salt water overcame his taste buds. As he gulped down gallon after gallon of ice-cold water, his mind trailed to his previous defeat. He paused, lifting his head away from the water and sniffing the air. The reptile’s scent was there, but it was faint and almost indistinguishable from the other scents of the tundra. Maguma growled as he accepted Bemular was long gone by now, and any hope of picking up his trail was lost to him. The pinniped’s revenge would have to wait.
As Maguma lowered his head back to the water, his nostrils caught another scent. The mammal paused, flaring his nostrils to further study this new scent. Something else had been here. Another titan like him. Its scent carried the same alien stench as Bemular, but this one’s was different. It smelt… unnatural.
Maguma stepped back, and a loud crunch came from beneath one of his flippers. The walrus monster raised the offending foot and caught sight of the crushed skeletal remains of a whale. Before he could question how it had gotten there, Maguma realised the entire beach was littered with a variety of sea fauna. A pang of dread filled the blubbery creature’s soul as he saw they had all shared the same fate: all flesh removed from their bones and left as bleached-white husks. The alien’s scent was replaced by a fouler stench. The stench of death.
The walrus scanned the beach, slightly shivering in fear. Maguma decided that this place was not for him and began to move away from this death-filled landscape to find a more pleasant spot to rest and recuperate. He trotted into the waves, but the water only made it up to his chest before something stopped him. A large wake was speeding through the waves towards shore. As it drew nearer, Maguma could make out a shadowy figure beneath the waves, sweeping its body from side-to-side to propel itself through the waves. Meters away from reaching shore, something burst out from the ocean. Maguma couldn’t stop himself from letting out a shriek of surprise as a long, tentacle-like appendage whipped out of the waves and swayed in the air. The waters around it bubbled, and Maguma realised the rest of the creature had yet to surface. The ocean rose up as the creature pushed from underneath, rising higher and higher until it stood taller than Maguma and its sea water coating fell away, revealing the thing in its entirety.
It was enormous, towering over Maguma and perhaps even Bemular. Its skin was smooth and eel-like, its colour a dirty, washed-out white patched with patterns of black. Its arms and legs were muscular, but its hands and feet were featureless, possessing no separate digits at all. A long, serpentine tail waved behind it like a cobra, poised and ready to strike. Its neck was elongated and at the top lay a smooth and plain head, its only defining features a glowing crevice shaped to resemble a smile and a pair of crescent-shaped horns that constantly rotated in their sockets. Maguma looked up at the thing, unsure what to make of it. Then, the creature looked down at him. While it lacked vision, the creature was able to scan its surroundings by using its horns like an organic radar, picking up sounds through echolocation and using them to create a mental map of the landscape. It peered at Maguma like a cat would a mouse, seeing not a potential threat, but a potential meal.
Eleking reared back, screeching into the heavens.

Oh yeah, lol I remember that. Pretty cool concept, just rebuild the mind control machine and send Monster Island's kaiju out to stop opposing threats.
Glad someone's doing it.

A gigantic figure stood at the shoreline, peering at the white maple leaf dorsal fins ripping through the water. The thing had been sent to defend the city, a job other mechs had failed to accomplish. MOGUERA & Mechagodzilla had both fallen to the monster Kiryu was soon to face. The pilot tightly gripped the controls as sweat rolled from his face...

Re: KWC TRAILERS!
Gigan and Megalon charged Jet Jaguar simultaneously, then swung their weapons towards the robotic hero, but he leaped over the blades and landed kicks onto both of their faces. As the duo stumbled back, Jet Jaguar raised his arms above his head, before growing to 200 meters tall. The massive robotic hero gripped the killer cyborg and the seatopian deity by the necks, before lifting them up and bashing their heads together. Jet Jaguar dropped the two, struck the same pose as before, and then shrunk back to his previous size. Megalon hammered both drills into the robot’s sides, giving Gigan the opportunity to fly above the deity and strike Jet Jaguar in the back of the head. As Jet stumbled forwards, Megalon slapped him across the face, knocking the hero back and allowing the cyborg to slap him with his blade. The robotic hero was sent back to the deity, who shot out a napalm bomb which exploded against Jet Jaguar’s stomach. Jet Jaguar flipped backwards, sailing over Gigan while landing a kick onto the back of the cyborg’s head. When the robot landed, he began releasing a stream of white mist from his unmoving mouth, which he first aimed downwards to extinguish the napalm, before turning it to Gigan’s back. The killer cyborg soon found out that the mist was liquid nitrogen, as it began to freeze his back fins. Gigan flew away from the attack, landing at Megalon’s side. The deadly duo turned to face Jet Jaguar, one planning their next move, the other just staring. Deep underground, the Seatopian leaders and Nebulan leaders communicated, wracking their brains for how to deal with Jet Jaguar.
“There’s no way he can possibly take on both of our kaiju, just keep attacking!” commanded Antonio, the Seatopian king.
“He’s already revealed two new abilities, who knows what else he’s hiding?” replied the sapient cockroach-like alien on the monitor, “We need strategy!” he added.
Before the two could continue arguing, they were interrupted by a frightened Seatopian. “Sir, our radars have detected another monster, and it’s a massive one!” he said terrified.
“What? Which monster is it?” replied both leaders, but before the Seatopian could answer, the monitor showing the battle revealed its identity.
Between the three combatants, a colossal black mass slammed into the ground. Its four thick legs supported a gargantuan frame, two long tails dragged on the ground behind it, blood red wings jutted from its back, and three draconic heads rested upon serpentine necks.

Either Jet Jaguar, Gigan and Megalon vs. Desghidorah or Jet Jaguar vs. Gigan and Megalon vs. Desghidorah.
Added in 7 hours 28 minutes 47 seconds:
Galleons of water poured down to the bottom of Iguazu Falls, a famous tourist site among South America. Everyday, week, month and year, the very site and serene beauty attracted thousands of tourists alike to view its beautiful environment all around. As with seemingly everyday, tourists were once again gathered around at the docks as some watched, others were taking pictures of it or with them and their families or friends in it, today seemed like it was going to be off with a great start.
A great start that was about to end with conflict.
As tourists continued on with their day, a large shadow loomed over them, the sound of beating wings blocking the sounds of the breaking water from the falls, the tourists looked up in terror as the prehistoric insect Megaguirus looked down at them with her ruby red eyes in hunger, having settled here for days and not eaten for so long, moments ago, she hadn't been too far until having been attracted to the similar scent of prey she tended to gorged on when given the chance, with nothing seemingly in her way, she was about to take advantage of that and not pass the opportunity to feed. The tourists screamed and fled in terror just as the Megaulan queen was about to scoop up a handful only to stop when she noticed a man in the middle of the fleeing crowd just standing there alongside a strange being that appeared to look human yet was made of metal. Never the less, figuring the two would be easy meals to catch she was about scoop them up when the man spoke to the strange man-like being giving out a demand who then suddenly began to make a series of hand signs and sounds, before Megaguirus knew it, her entire surroundings were engulfed by a flash of light as she shrieked shielding her eyes from the brightness that temporary blinded her.
