Slow down issues

Postby gvamp » Sun Jan 01, 2012 11:08 am

For the past few days every once in awhile the board will time out on me so I have to go to a different website and come back to get TK to load up quickly.

And no it's not my internet I have a pretty solid connection.

Yeah I noticed it aswell. Kind of annoying but I think it might just be from traffic.

Only time I've noticed it is on my phone. And well, that's 'cause my phone is a POS. But it happens pretty rarely. Guess it could just be increased traffic due to schools being out and what-not.

It's running slow for me today.

EDIT: And of course the instant I type that it decides to run super fast again.

It's been significantly slower on my iPod...pages take a while to load occasionally.

Same here, it's normally fine.

Every once and a while, it'll take a while for it to load up.

It normally works fine but then I get time out issues and I highly doubt it's because of traffice because I notice it late at night when most of the traffic is decreased.

Yeah, I've noticed it as well. It's not an issue of traffic, because sometimes the site will slow to a crawl and then be back to normal speed like 5 minutes later. It happens at all times of day, too.

This. It's been happening to me for days and only on this site.

You know why we don't have image signatures? They said it would "slow the site down".

The site is slow as hell, and the other one worked just fine.

This. This is exactly what's been happening to me, on both my phone and my computer. I never really noticed before because I'v only been here for 11 days, so I thought the site must always be like that. Reading these complaints, It must be a relatively new thing.

I usually open a new tab while I wait for something to open on here.
I thought it's just because I'm doing this from my iPhone, but I guess its also happening to everyone who uses a PC,too.

I have been noticing this as well, where the site slows to a crawl or times out altogether... and then a reload later and its back to normal. It shows the characteristics of a server issue. Going to give it the rest of the week and if there is no improvement going to contact our service provider.

Website has seemed rather quick of late, or am I just lucky enough to not be on during the slowdowns anymore?
