Ya' know, this is both one of the most ridiculous and one of the most interesting debates I've seen here on TK. I find it odd that some people are actually turned on by the boob avatars. Or maybe I'm the weird one. I dunno.

I'm not offended by them. Random pictures of tits on the internet don't turn me on. I can get laid whenever I want.

But I still don't like these avatars. There's something incredibly juvenile about them almost in a "Check it, dawg. Pictures of tits on a family-friendly message board. I'm hardcore" sort of way.

The real problem is drawing the line because people will throw a fit and saw "Well it can't be any girl then at all!" and just drive the avatar into the ground like sigs. I don't like it, but maybe the solution then is to force everyone to use the pre-made avatars that TK already has, no exceptions. It's just about being sensible, which isn't definitive and hence becomes such a debate.

Ideally, we'd just have a "no sexual or nude avatars" rule and have the moderators actively call it as they see it as they do on other forums. I don't know how (im)practical that would be here.
