Still this is a forum for Godzilla. I understand the argument for both sides but here is one thing I would like to ask. If we are all over the age of 18 then shouldn't we have the maturity NOT to put up such avatars?

Wataru, if I were female, I would find that image very offensive. Hell, even as a male, I don't even like that image, especially since you posted that with the intention of saying, "Hey female members of TK! Are these thing...I mean woman's jigglies okay with you guys?!"

It's degrading towards women and doesn't help paint a good picture of the people of this site. Like G2K said, we're here to discuss Toho-related topics, not try to one up each other with these boob avatars and pictures. There's a reason that I've never looked at the "Sexy Women Thread" on this site: Because I don't come to Toho Kingdom to look at that kind of stuff. Now, with all these avatars and pictures around the site, I really feel like I'm one of the few people on this site who can actually keep it in his pants.

I see how it would bug some people and I see how others would get pissed being told that they have to change their avatars.

All I can say is there are other websites stuff like that so if you really need breasts or asses in your avatar why not save them for websites like that and use normal avatars here?

You missed the point I was trying to make.

Toho Kingdom's forums have a purpose: For people to discuss Toho topics and have some fun and (somewhat) friendly conversations, like any other internet forum. However, porn is not included in that purpose. If people came to TK to discuss porn, then we would have abandoned talking about Toho a long time ago, and this would be an entirely different kind of website. People do not come to TK to look at porn and/or talk about porn. If people want to do that, then there are plenty of other websites where they could do that, but not here.

I'm not saying that we should close the General Discussion or Media Center. That's just stupid. What I am saying is that people should be smart enough to realize that people come to TK to discuss Toho and other topics, and not to see bouncing breasts. If they want to see bouncing breasts, they should take it somewhere else.

I like some of the boob avatars. Others not so much. But as long as the site's owner/moderation team is okay with it, I'm not going to try to tell anyone else what to put as their avatar. The pony avatars bug me more than the boob ones, but, again, a live and let live kinda attitude works pretty well.

I don't think they're particularly tasteful. But that's not the point, the avatars aren't displaying anything that is broadly considered derogatory or offensive. They aren't swastikas or Klan insignias, they're skreeonk breasts for goodness sake. They're just an element of the human body. Attractive human bodies at that.

What I'm saying is, SG2010 makes me all sorts of worked up and I don't come here that often for that exact reason.

Women are viewed as the beauty, and for the most part, (and definitely in our society) always have been.
Doesn't mean they're viewed as objects. Just means it's more socially acceptable to have a pair of nice tits on a commercial than a shirtless dude. Seems as though the norms are evening out (what with Twilight and what not) but until then I wouldn't worry about it.

Chicks (unless you're some bald feminist) usually are okay with em.

What I don't get is why don't they save avatars like that for other forums that would not have any problem with it and just shrug it off? Surely everyone visits more then just this one forum. I'm not really offended by them (since I've seen far more offensive shock images on other sites) but I can see how others would be and it does get annoying when I'm scrolling down a page and my niece glances at my laptop and yells "grandma! Uncle LC is looking at porn".
