I'm not defending my stance. I admitted I poorly worded the previous post and clarified what I really meant. Would you rather I kept pretending not to care at all?

Whichever keeps you quiet works for me.

So... 55% vote for having a user group.

I don't think the FM should be a group. If a match is bad just ignore it.

Then why even have rules if people can just ignore them?

Only about a day left to vote and Usergroup is winning by a landslide.

Yes, we should have a usergroup. It's not because I'm tired of people coming in and posting threads that break the rules. That happens, like, everywhere. I understand why people don't always follow the rules; TK's Fantasy Match rules are different than others I've seen at other sites. Most sites are more mellow. They excel by concentrating on the debating aspect, which where the action is at (and where people are bound to get more frustrated). If a newcomer joins and messes up, they're usually spammed to hell by our forum users for not following the rules. They do bring this on themselves whenever they keep making the same damn mistake over and over.

No, I'd prefer a usergroup because it's annoying how other members barge in, and bitch about others 'taking this seriously'. It's a discussion forum. I understand Fantasy Matches aren't for everyone. Some think it's juvenile and a waste of time. They are entitled to their opinion; however, it's ridiculous how some can't seem to resist jumping into the middle of a big debate, and bashing everyone they see. We're on a Godzilla forum! We like watching movies about giant rubber monsters pounding the shit out of each other in a miniature city! Our standards aren't very high. So a usergroup would help deter non-FM participants from spamming and harassing other members.

It's either that or we get a FM moderator.

Normally, I really couldn't care less (though I lean towards the YES group), but after seeing the Mechanical Dopplegangers vs Originals match I just... GAH!

That place needs someone of authority in there to smack the stupid out of it, because if this post is any indication:

It's only a matter of time before Gezora actually has those lasers that LM mentioned.

Remember when the FMs had like, 4 rules? That was a silly time. Good thing I fixed that.

Eh, the members who don't quite adhere to the Fantasy Matches' rules, these guys are very silly in general; yet you don't see anybody suggesting a Media Center usergroup. Just keep banning people.

LOL FMs get a usergroup. Then "OMFG these guys are SO annoying in the media center! Make it a usergroup!!!!!!!" shows up.

I think that would be pretty damn funny.

I said yes, even though I don't frequent the FMs. It IS annoying going in after so many weeks and seeing some of the dumbest ideas for fights ever.

Not making a fictional battle properly is hardly the best reason to ban people from the forum entirely. People don;t have to follow 20 or so rules in the Media Centre, and mostly get banned there for being jackasses and trolls.

That being said, I see no reason for the FM to be a usegroup right now. Our recent crop of matches have been okay.

I know so, but people who can't follow the rules in that section, can't follow them anywhere. There is enough evidence of that.

Ok where's the decision? Needs to be a damn user group or people need to start putting more content in on their posts.

The decision's right up there.

We/I just have to contact the staff about it.
