I don't see why people find my behavior right now jarring though. I have hissy fits on TK all the time.

You guys think I'm some kind of egotistical narcissist, but you honestly have no idea. See, where I usually post, I'm at the bottom, not hated, but certainly not considered a major influence. This forum is bush-league when it comes to the posters. It really is. For one, you guys take this forum far too seriously. JVM throws a hissy fit and spams the forum, at times claiming he's "testing" us? Who does that? A moderator claims he drinks because of people in a whine thread? People complaining because their opinions are being laughed at? You people would get torn to shreds on a place like GiantBomb or RT(My home turf). I may seem good at debating here, but oft times I get torn to shreds on RT. and I don't puss out and say "Well that's just my opinion". That's being weak. You admit that your opinion is based on the superficial or out of ignorance and apologize for saying something stupid, or they will go into extreme detail on how everything you say and are is wrong and make you feel like a complete and total dumbass. And you may think that's horrible, but hey, we defeated Kevin Smith, we won a forum war with a board of psycho Neo-Nazi's, and overall provide a MUCH healthier exchange of ideas then seen here, due to the level each poster is on. Here's an example,

Weeks ago I made a thread claiming Fallout: New Vegas was better than Skyrim. It got merged quickly, and I got flamed by a site staff member, and trolled by Wataru, and a irrelevant discussion arose about MMO's.
As I self made experiment, I posted the exact same thread over on RT. The results:

A two page thread where people are actually having a fun conversation and exchanging ideas. There's a few stupid posts, but overall it shows a much healthier pace of discussion than whatever the hell goes on here.

Furthermore, all I ever talk about is movies, so you would not know how I weather in other fields, so your statement claiming I feel enlightened only because of what movies I watch falls flat on it's face before the gun fires.

I didn't say all of you for one, thing, there are good posters and bad posters, I'm simply, now a scapegoat on these forums, the only reason of which I still post on being that I can't talk about Godzilla much on RT. I do not think I am awesome, far from it, but that is not for you to know, however I am confident that in some regards, I am above certain things and certain people(Though not so in grammar). For instance, the Homosexuality debate thread disgusts me, because there is no debate. you cannot, rationally make an argument that states homosexuality is a bad thing. You just cannot. It would be below me to enter such an argument, and I feel people who are homophobic are goddamn insane. Just an example. I also don't think I'm brilliant, however, I won;t deny my immense amusement to some of the responses I get to my posts here due to someone completely missing the point or not understanding what I'm saying cos they are tew stoopid. =P

I did mean just where movies are concerned, however, I am also enlightened by my own personal philosophical sense in terms of my sense of self awareness, and my inherent "hyper intuition" dictated by my personality type. However, those latter two are my business, not yours, although the latter most is relevant to something else you mentioned, but I'll get to that.

The "disgusting" remark was meant to be interpreted on a grand scale and given the evidence provided by history, is true. It correlated to the idea that they would, by nature, have a crass sense for entertainment too. And I hold yself to higher standards then that. It was ALSO a link to the people detractors of Cabin in the Woods, of whom the film was criticizing. The people who dislike the film were the fools who expected it to be generic horror trash that played by the rules and delivered on their primal desires. The film, however, makes fun of their primal desires.

That "new material" is usually evidence to hold up my points, which is one of the fundamentals of debating. However, people like "He who must not be mentioned" completely ignore it and post something irrelevant and actually do beat the same point over and over again without ANYTHING to back it up. It's just fluff and it irritates me. Then they get pissed at ME for calling their opinions worthless, when they really are. Then they feel that because they have an opinion, that means it should be treated with respect...but that's not how reality works. nor is it how ethics work, at times. My whole bout of "pretentiousness" has really been on the rise ONLY because of that argument with "He who must not be mentioned", because I'M the one on the defensive. I said it pages ago, I'm now a scapegoat. People, including site staff, flaming me for no real reason, and even banning me from this thread simply because it was convenient and for no real rule breaking at all. And it's all because of an argument that other posters have the sheer skreeonk AUDACITY to claim they understand, but they really don't. No, I do not hate him because of a comic book. This ties back into my hyper intuition, due to his actions people fail to pick up and his actions towards me behind closed doors, I have determined he is the kind of person I mesh with the WORST. That is why I dislike him so much. It's him as a person.
