It's called: ignoring it.
Sadly doing that is as controversial as was dropping the atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki...

You arent seriously comparing the bombing of a city and the deaths of thousands with idiots bickering via a computer screen,
are you??
..And what is 'controversial' about ignoring stupid comments? Its easy, I spend a LOT of time doing that very thing right here!
Its the
internet for god's sake. Think of it as a river of feces, constantly flowing, with a few very RARE gems floating among the waste.

It seems that many folks (theory: younger folks?) take this stuff VERY seriously, sadly. Folks 'attacking' each other, 'cyber bullying', 'flaming', suicides...yikes...like a bad sci-fi film, eh? Kind of a sad symptom of a decaying society when folks need to feel that they have 'power' or 'importance' in some sort of 'virtual world', imho.
Bickering over 'power' in a forum such as this makes about as much sense as the guy that is agoraphobic, socially stunted, and sexless boasting of his video game 'prowess', as if such things would even grant him a second glance in the
real world...
I cant wrap my head around folks of this mindset/behaviour. The internet doesnt
need to be the snarky sleaze-hole that it is, but unfortunately, there are millions upon millions of these so-called 'trolls' that are DEAD-set on making SURE that the 'net remains as angst-filled and hostile-minded as a prison cell. Sad, truly.
