I don't see why I can't. I've moved on and changed for the better. I'm no longer "Captain Giga Godzilla", or anything like him (or early GXG, for that matter). Though I can't say the same for you.

If I remember something from the older days of TK that I want to say, I'm going to say it without remorse.

Not really, no. I don't think the best of myself. I'm simply comparing what I was as Captain Giga Godzilla, a whiny stupid kid who didn't know how do much of anything, to what I am now. And while I'm not sure what I am now, I can say that whatever I am is way better than what I was as CGG.

Someone as analytical as me sees quite a bit of things, including the bad sides of myself. I know what my faults are, so I'd say that I can decide if I'm better now than I was when I joined back in 2004.

Besides, I highly doubt that there's anyone out there who would say that I'm the exact same that joined in 2004, and that I haven't changed at all. Anyone who does say that really hasn't been paying attention lately then.

...Except that I've never seen Wataru claim that he has changed. At all.

I am claiming that I've changed, because it's true. I look back on the things that I did when I joined and say, "Goddamn! I was really stupid back then! Glad I wouldn't do those kinds of things anymore." I don't know about you, but I would consider that change.

Now, if what you're saying is that it's not fair to judge myself, I get that. There are better people out there that can judge me better than I could. However, that doesn't stop me from saying things like "I've grown up and made a few changes to myself!" Especially when other people have told be that in other threads.

To be fair though, when I rejoined in 2010, it wasn't because I had been banned. It was because I took a break from TK (mostly because of school), and at the time, I no longer saw much of a reason to be on TK, because I didn't feel the need to reply to a single post I was reading, and had nothing new to say.

I'm with you on that. The jail doesn't let all the prisoners free when they need to rebuild the jail.

I would not have banned you, Paul. You weren't banned when old TK was closed. Monster Master probably wouldn't have been banned because I don't think he was banned from old TK when it closed...I could be wrong. I also wouldn't have banned AH because I honestly don't understand why everyone hated him and reacted in such away.

Keep in mind that plenty of old banned members have showed improvement over their past behaviors.

Exactly. I completely agree with this statement.

I fully admit that when I was banned early 2005, I deserved to be banned. I was stupid, naive and very much went against the rules of the forum. I realized the mistakes that I had made, and I promised myself and everyone around me that I would never do anything like that again. Every time I mess up, I always try to learn from those mistakes, so that I can become a person that makes as little mistakes as possible, and be the person that I want to be. It took me a while to realize this, it wasn't something that came to me over night, but I like to think that I'm better now for thinking that I can improve myself and be a better person.

I never forget what I started out as, or the mistakes that I've made. If I did forget, I wouldn't have change, and I would have only gotten worse.

EDIT: Also, Monster Master was not banned when the new forums were created. I believe he had just recently been de-promoted from being a mod, but that was about it.

There's a few people thusfar that I wouldn't have banned, but a wholeeeee lot more that I would have.
