However, I think it'd be a good idea to have certain members be moderators based on Forum. (Someone members do The G2012 board, couple handle General and Media Centre, etc.) Kinda' like how G-Rex is responsible for the Arena boards.

As for mod? Unless things changed, being a mod wasn't all that special. Can't ban or dunce (or give warnings now) people and half the time when you addressed something major in the exclusive "Mod & Admin Forum" nothing ever really got done. 'Cept it is a nice place where mods could laugh at stupid members and their idiocy.

'Cept you have no way to enforce it. Which is why I rarely ever follow what SS4G says, frankly 'cause I still don't see why he's a mod, which is the exact reason I was de-mod'd in the first place: I didn't give him an open arm welcome in the mod forum like everyone else did.

I won't mind being a Mod but I feel like other people like Gvamp or IR are better off as a Mod then me. Yaburu and Hedorah seem like a good choices since they are nice users, they never got into any trouble, and know how to do good job as long as they enforces the written rules.

I think the site has enough mods already. We need a new Admin or give mods the power to temp ban for people.

Admin: Stuckey, he's on often, he's active, an all around good guy

Mod:

-Living Corpse: He knows the rules, he follows the rules, he wouldn't let anyone get away with shit (not saying the current mods do)

The other people I'd be nominating are either A) Already a mod or B) been nominated on here enough

But another thing, I did like the idea that each forum should have a specific mod, it makes dealing with issues a bit easier.

Depends, and I certainly hope an admin would follow the rules and actually have a reason to ban him. But seriously how hard is it for this board to have a topic that doesn't go off topic about AH?
