Text game forum?

Would be possible to make a forum for text games, and other spam like threads where your post account does not rise up when you post? I think it would be fun to have if its possible to make one.

On a somewhat related note, I think posts in the Shadow Arena shouldn't go towards post count either. But that's just me.

He might change his mind since then, and a lot of forums have one. I don't see why TK can't have one for fun?

FULL agreement from me. And personally, I think as long as it doesn't count towards post counts, Text games do no harm, unless it's a database cluttering issue Arbok is worried about.

I don't think its possible for Arbok to make it NOT add to the post count. Not that post count is that big a thing anyway.

If free message board sites give you the option to make certain subforums not count towards post count, I'm sure Anthony's fancy "you gotta pay!" forum software has the same option.

I remember the last time this was brought up, the OP was told by a mod that it was not possible. I guess it either has something to do with the board change or maybe the mod was wrong.

Wait, Arbok actually has to pay for the forum software itself? I'm aware he must pay for the website but I always thought phpBB was free.

I'd like to open this back up for discussion. I still like to see a forum section where you can't make post that go towards post count since we move thread such as "What Made Your Day", "What Ruined Your Day", and the Latest Purchases Thread into the forum section. You will lose your post account but oh well.

I've been on boards where game threads get very high traffic and are quite popular. I imagine with Toho Kingdom's young demographic the idea would hit it off rathar well.

I see no reason for a SPAM forum. You wanna shoot the breeze, that's what IM services and Facebook are for. No need for it to be on the forums.
