At the very least, move it out from underneath the drop-down menu. Can't tell you how many times I've clicked it accidentally (using the Legion skin btw).

Re: Suggestions/Changes for the TK Forum
I'm using the Kaiju Outline (Purple) skin, the Mark Forums Read link is only available on the main page of the forums and tucked far off to the right, away from New Posts/Unanswered topics, etc. Super convenient.UltramanGoji wrote:At the very least, move it out from underneath the drop-down menu. It's a theme thing. Buttons and layouts vary from theme to theme and some placement of widgets are more "accident prone" then others. The placement of the action is fine on Gotengo (to me at least), everyone is different.

Except there is no need to remove a useful feature because of user error.godzillafan1954 wrote:No.SpaceG92 wrote:No.godzillafan1954 wrote:Remove the Mark Forums Read button! Pls

On the Fanfic section can we please get a view of who read the story? Only make it an option to thread authors.
I think this function did exsist a some point pre-hack.

Re: Suggestions/Changes for the TK Forum
I tried editing the settings to exclude the "Fan Fiction" and "Beginning Writers" forums but they still merged (known bug). This requires an update that I cannot do at this time.Saansilt wrote:-Automerging posts is bane to posting fiction. Please have it disabled by default instead of enabled.
This will be addressed and hopefully fixed on the next forum update.

First off, thanks for the PM count increase, SpaceG.
Now then, another feature I remember (but sadly never got to use) that I would like to see return is custom ranks. Would it be possible to reintroduce that feature?

Was looking into that last nightMissingno. wrote:First off, thanks for the PM count increase, SpaceG.

There is an updated ver. of it from the old one used on the previous board, however the updated version is unverified by php. Meaning that it could be potentially malicious in nature or be full of poor coding which can lead to errors.
There is a work around using a custom profile field. While not a true user rank, it can be emulated/interpreted as one. This however cannot be gated behind a post count like the old custom rank could.

Any way to remove the "X made this post and is on your foes list. Click here to view this post" thingie? It's kind of an eyesore.

Nope. Can remove it once, but it reverts on a page change.

Re: Suggestions/Changes for the TK Forum
Is there anyway to make the search option not refuse to search for words it deems 'too common'? I tried searching for James Bond because I thought it would be easier than combing through the media section, and it wouldn't let me because both those words are too common apparently. I did find the topic eventually, but the search option would have been easier.

Re: Suggestions/Changes for the TK Forum
Generally, I would recommend the Advance Search function and it should work most of the time. This was brought up numerous times and it's in a weird place. I can edit the search criteria to ignore common words such as "and" and "of" or "the" and let everything else through. On the other hand, if I remove the common filter, you will be flooded with the many, many posts that contain those combination of words making the search harder.KaijuCanuck wrote:Is there anyway to make the search option not refuse to search for words it deems 'too common'? In my signature there is a public discussion for the adding of forum topic tags that could make this searching easier by tagging via keywords.

Enable Vimeo embedding?
I was wondering if it'd be possible to set up embedding from Vimeo as well as YouTube.
Tokyo, a smoldering memorial to the unknown, an unknown which at this very moment still prevails and could at any time lash out with its terrible destruction anywhere else in the world.
