I am now beginning to think that "Godzillaman" is too generic and sort of bland, especially for a Godzilla-themed forum. Is there any possible way of changing your username?

It is, for a non-Godzilla themed forum. For a forum that IS Godzilla themed, it is very uninteresting and not very creative

^It sounds lame. It would be alot cooler if it were something like "TheGodzillaKing" or something like that. For example, one does not just simply go to an animal-themed forum and make their username "Animalguy"

As far as I can remember, username changes are a rare allowance here on the board. I was allowed a name change when I first arrived, but only because it was the exact same username as another member. So don't get your hopes up.

I don't think name changes are a bad idea, especially since many people here don't like the name they chose when they joined the site three years ago or something. As long as there are some restrictions, of course. For example, you must personally ask a mod or admin, and you can only change it once. Furthermore, your old username has to be present in your signature (e.g. Formerly Known as: Old User Name). Just a suggestion.

Personally, I'd like to change my username to something that isn't a mouthful.

I think I have answered this before but long story short: no.

Have a variety of reasons for that, but chief among them: causes confusion and is a manual process on our part.
