At first they were okay, but now its just pointless. You're not creating anything except a topic to discuss a movie. The random *insert movie genre* talk back title is just cluttering up the entire media forum.

But yes, in all seriousness, it's really starting to get annoying. I mean, the AvP topics were nice, but then people started jumping onto the bandwagon. isn't this why we have a "Last Movie You Watched" thread??? To keep topics like them from cluttering up the forum?

I think they're fine when kept to franchise that has more than three movies - like the AvP Talkback thread. They provide a place to talk about the films people love. My only gripe with them comes in stuff like "Horror Movie Talkback", "Dinosaur Movie Talkback", and "Animated Film Talkback", which are far too broad.

You're right, we should make a separate topic about every single bit of media which we saw! Why do we only have one thread about commercials? We should have threads about not just commercials, but infomericials, radio ads, Super Bowl Ads, magazine ads, movie trailers, movie TV spots, Youtube ads, and ads which appear on FreeWebs sites! That wouldn't spawn useless threads at all!
