As for why he's annoying? I don't find him annoying, so I can't answer that.

Oh, he's said some pretty ridiculous shit in his time. But as long as he's following the rules, it's not worth paying much attention to.

Y'know Id have no real problem with it, save two problems:

Grammar and structure. They're walls of text.

Negative. There's never a GOOD run-down. Always negative.

I agree, it's annoying. He's going it for attention now more then any other reason.

That sums up just about every post by Donkun. He acts like the world will be worse off if he doesn't give his opinion on nearly any topic, and god forbid if you happen to disagree with it.

I don't mind him giving his opinion. That's what we all do here anyway. (He may treat his opinion like it matters more, but still...)

This is what has bothered me about Donkun since he first joined the site. I am totally fine having nice discussions and debates with people regarding the merits of a work or about media in general. But Donkun has this idea that his opinions are somehow more intelligent and more worthy of our attention than other people. The instant someone is called out as being unintelligent for liking something (even despite its flaws) I begin to suspect that someone is a little too self righteous and opinionated.

If I recall correctly, he was banned and/or hated on the original forums for being whiny, angry, and immature. While his use of vocabulary has certainly gotten better, and he has some rather detailed posts, he still gets people just as annoyed as he did before by being... well... whiny, angry, and immature.

Edit: I have a question for the forum mods/admins. Why is it that often times you guys will verbally warn a member and threaten an actual warning if they continue to harass a specific person or continue arguing, but then you go back to verbally warning the same person in a separate topic for doing the same thing? I will use Donkun since he is a more recent example. He gets verbally warned to stop insulting/arguing with someone in one thread, but then later does the same thing in another thread to only receive another verbal warning.

I guess you can say that is my whine.

I can't speak for the other mods, but for me, it's just flat-out forgetfulness. I have a pretty shitty memory unfortunately, so I often don't even remember telling someone not to do something or I'll give them a warning next time.

I usually circumvent this by just going straight to the board warning. Way I look at it, if you've been around here long enough, you know the rules and have no excuse for breaking them.

Part of me doesn't want to give out warnings. And partially, I think people will learn a lesson.

I can assure that the next time Donkun breaks the rules (I.E, someone texts me about him), Im gonna work him.
