Enjoy!:KING GHIDORAH
I took the manes of hair from the Showa designs, added the horns in a straight style like Heiseis and made only the middle head to have pupils in his eyes to give enphasis to the fact that that head is the boss! I also thought that having some heads with white eyes would look cool like in the artwork that comes with Ghidorah the three Headed monster DVD!
RODAN
Just took a bit of this and that from Heisei and Millenium Rodans, the only part that I could say just got there for the sake of looking cool is the shoulder-like pads. I tried to give it strong legs just because I thought that looked cool, Strong but not long like Final War's. BTW, I kinda screwed up the "armor" in his chest. Dumb me.
ANGUIRUS
Kinda just modified the Millenium design, added bigger eyes Showa style and made the spikes on his back meaner.
BARAGON
I always thought of Baragon as a silly cute monster, can't take him seriously so I didn't even try to make him cool, just add to the cuteness, and maybe some coolness with those drugged eyes.
VARAN
This is one of my most extreme designs, I changed this one the most since I think that he needed another boost in uniqueness instead of being "Just-another-reptilian-monster", so I made him freaking ugly and more like the kind of creature that would dwell in a cave, a bit of vampiric inspiritation if you may, I think it turned out cool.
KING CAESAR
Another Radical change in design, maybe not as much as Varan's though, I went for a more Windwaker-ish style for this one with the clouds that float around him and made it a bit more obvious that this version is a stone golem that happens to have some resemblance to a freak lion
. I really like the way his claws turned out.GIGAN
I tried not to stray too far from his tried-and-true-classic Showa design, he's badass like that, all I did was make his proportions a bit more cartoonish to add more personality to the character, as you can see.
JET JAGUAR
Here's where I had a lot of fun with, I made him, like Gigan, more cartoonish, or actually, went overboard with the Cartoon style here, and I love it, this is one of my favorite redesigns, he's now supposed to be a stretchy robot, hence the Doc. Ock. like arms and legs, with that he can now ROCKET PUNCH!
KUMONGA
My worst of all pieces, it's boring and simple, all I did was add hair and position it in a really odd way, pretty boring overall but I like Kumonga so I had to draw this monster.
KAMACURAS
Another Crazy redesign, I always got the impression of Kamacuras being real mean, nasty bug that had real evil freaky schemes under his wing, so I tried to make that very obvious in his appearance alone, very demented eyes and a super unrealistic mouth that is where his forehead should be or something like that! Might not make sense but it sure is freaky cool!
ORGA
Not much was done here, I just made his eyes bigger and gave him a funny expression, the kind of expression you see in arrogant brutes. Orga's arms have always been his best strenght and I added to that by adding some kind of natural HARDER skin that looks like shields in his arms. Imagine Orga shielding Godzilla's beam with these arms in Venom's shielding pose from MVC, now that's badass!
ZILLA
Nothing has changed much here, just made him look cartoonish and bigger eyes like with most designs.
GODZILLA
Very Godzilla 2000 inspired, Spikes are simpler though, the king has enough personality just by being there so I thought of drawing him looking mean but cool, simple but effective I guess.
MONSTER X
This one was altered a bit, the expression was made like that to make him look like on starving cannibalistic monster, he's made of bones so it was easy to make the connection Haha! Oh! And I thought that adding some hair would look cool.
TITANOSAURUS
Just made the neck longer and gave him a funny expression that makes him look like he's very satisfied with how life's for him, he's supposed to be an easy going creature after all
BIOLLANTE
Just took the idea from Unleashed of adding some kind of creepy skullish design on her stomach and more Godzillaish spikes on the back.
MECHAGODZILLA
Very cartoony, wanted to keep the canned look that the showa design had and I always found funny how his feet looked when he walked so I made the foot longer so that it looks funnier. Added typical looking canons on his knees and his elbows, he's equipped with a Machete like tail too. He's spinning his hand so there's some kind of air drill thing going on there.
OBSIDIUS
So here is Mr. Magmouth, a monster that at first sight found kinda cool but nothing impressive, I really love the way he was done in his artwork, compared to his oddly proportioned model, so I tried to make him less gorillian and a bit more deformed stone golem looking, in the end though, it looks more like some kind of wingless gargoyle from another dimension, this is an ok piece.
KIRYU
This one was rushed as I was drawing this when in middle of a party that had everyone too drunk to move so the illumination didn't help but regardless of that turned like a cool design poorly drawn, it's not too consistent which makes it look poor but I'm putting him here in the meantime until I make a better version.
SPACEGODZILLA
Now THIS boy I'm very proud of, did it while drawing with my girlfriend so there you have it, the power of love maybe xD
I really like him, he's doing some kind of Shadow Ball even if he never did that in the movie, this version apparently can do stuff like that!
His head design is a little more like that of an alligator and this version has been going to the gym recently
GIGAN
Hell Yeah Baby! Gigan Rocks! And his expression is as mean as can be, that smile is thirsty for blood and sure screams "I'm Cool"!
As a true Gigan fan, I couldn't change his most badass design much, I just added a more traditional buzzsaw and removed the tusks that come out of his mouth to help achieve such a mean smile. I love it and hope you guys too!
