Godzilla:Daikaiju Battle Royale Discussion(Update:6/6/13)

Playing the demo again, AWMG, I had an idea for when a match ends. When you're shown the "PLAYER 1/2 WINS" screen, perhaps the winning monster could do their roar, as a sort of victory cry? And, in the same vein, perhaps have the enemy monster do a death cry when they're defeated (like Godzilla's weakened shriek, Hedorah's 'telephone ring' cry, etc), instead of just toppling over silently. What do you think?

However, I don't really see the significance of Ghido or Hedo being able to fly

I think he means because you can't fly over the enemy he doesn't see what advantage it has. However it does indeed have two advantages, I noticed Hedorah is really slow on land however he was fast in the air so I could meet my enemy halfway in the battle ground instead of getting corned and also new moves and powers are available in that mode.

Plus I'm sure some monsters might recharge energy faster in the air.

I played a little of it, and i enjoyed (Just unlocked Anguirus and Hedorah) and although its difficult at times, its still
entertaining. Ghidorah its a Bastard (he spams beams but im guessing thats the point). I like the idea of a Death Cry.

Minor comment/question: one thing I find tedious is, when I win a fight, if I choose to battle again, the game pits me against the exact same monster. If I want to fight a different monster, I have to go back to the title screen and do things all over again.
Will the final version of the game allow you to fight a different monster by pressing 'fight again'?

I just played the demo, and I have to say, it's a vast improvement over the first demo. One glitch I noticed, and if anyone has said it already I apologize, is probably very situational. I was Hedorah 1972 fighting Godzilla 1975, and I started transforming into flying form near the screen's left edge, and Godzilla either punched me or kicked me and Hedorah stopped transforming and was immovable and would not respond. He was lodged halfway between off-screen and on-screen. It's likely I won't be able to repeat such a glitch, and again, I'm sorry if this has already been mentioned.

He was referring to Showa King Ghidorah, which the password is monster0

I still say a GREAT way to unlock Kong is to type "I'm sick of Godzilla!" into the password bar.

I've been having a few issues with Hedorah's transformation:

As noted previously, Hedorah has a tendency to be unable to move or attack when his transformation is interrupted by an enemy's attack.

To transform back into final form, it should be required that the keys be let go first. I've wasted a lot of energy holding them down for too long and having Hedorah transform from final to flying and back to final very quickly.


Also, now that the three-headed cat is out of the bag, it's kind of awkward when you try to use beams and don't have energy - KG's heads just stay still.

Am I the only one wondering how Godzilla 1973 can use a beam, fog, regular kick, and tail slide? is it (special) + (kick)?
