You know, considering how heavily modeled after GMOM this game’s engine is, I am frankly quite surprised that Alex didn’t bother going ahead with the original plan of remaking said game.

Not sure if I said this before, but I think that honestly Heisei Godzilla will make a good Father’s Day update for 2018. After Shin is done presumably this Christmas I think Alex should take some time off until then. Before you accuse me of giving headlines for him to finish work as if I was his boss, You should at least give me credit for suggesting times for him to take breaks as well.

Can we not tell Alex when he should work on the game and when he should take a break? It just comes off as rude and disrespectful. Let him work and take breaks whenever he wants to. He doesn't need somebody else to decide when he should work on the game and when he should take a break. He's doing this all in his free time, show him some respect and quit making deadlines for him.

I know Alex is super busy, but it'd be amazing to see some spinoffs of GDBR, like a Gamera and Ultraman version of the game.
Ultraman more than anything, though.

Awesome. Some comments spoiled the surprise a bit early for me, but I enjoy it all the same. Quick note, be careful if you try to attack a Player 2 version of the same character, it can get pretty noisy!

Just a small FYI, but someone in the comments elsewhere mentioned they wouldn't mind seeing alien ships appear in a similar fashion! Suddenly, playing as the background Xilien UFOs sounds pretty fun (and amusing). Thought I'd drop that one here

Seeing the maser tanks added, I hope this opens the doors to the Xillien and Planet X UFO's, Heisei Maser team, and the Final Wars battleships.

The Heisei maser tanks and maser jets will be really cool, I don't remember which were cooler, the ones from 1984 or the ones from Godzilla And Mothra, but yeah, those guys.

You deserve a darn medal for your very complex and fun Christmas update last year surrounding your Maser tanks and Jsdf reveal! It's a testament to how Smash bros is the basis for Godzilla Daikaiju Battle Royale in terms of character movesets.
