Fan-Made Kaiju Redesign Thread

I just recently favorited the SeaGunLives Gigan, great design. I'm working on my own organic Gigan redesign for my Extremeverse. Definitely going to be borrowing a lot of elements from the MUTO.

Both of those are actually really great, and I say that as someone who generally doesn't like the idea of organic Gigan.

I still think it could have worked if the people working on the movie had put some more creativity/basic thoughts to the design.

Interesting take on King Ghidorah by MatthewOnArt that I don't think has been posted here yet. He basically wanted a more alien-looking Ghidorah and as such drew inspiration from the alien life depicted in Wayne Barlowe's Expedition and C.M. Koseman's Snaiad setting. The right and left "heads" are actually probosci that can be used to draw fluids from prey or in battle. He has expressed a desire to play with the design some more and possibly make it look more like the "traditional" Ghidorah.

I wish the upper jaw was larger, but I do consider it a fresh and interesting take on Ghidorah.

Have to say I'm not the biggest fan of his Godzilla redesign (it's okay and well-drawn but way too "big T-rex with spines" for me), but his Kong is pretty kickass. Really dig his "mane"

I dig his Kong and Ghidorah designs, they are majestic and monstrous as hell. Shame his Godzilla is the typical "take a generic Theropod and slap spines on it" redesign deviantart loves so much.

Kong looks pretty cool, but his Godzilla is another example among many of why I dislike the idea of him being a dinosaur.

Wow! That is pretty good. I haven't seen a Ghidorah design with tusks before. In theory, I should be a bit put off, but in reality, I like them. Perhaps it's because that they are small.

Not a huge fan of the boar-like tusks, but those feelers coming out of his nose are rather interesting.

So I've been working with an artist named Emily Stepped on DA, she's doing Godzilla Extreme for me, and she's damn good, and fast. This is the rough draft so far after a few revisions. I think this just might be Godzilla Extreme's final rendition when completed.
