List of Toho-film Fan Reconstructions

There have been quite a few fan reconstructions of Toho films, mainly of the U.S. theatrical releases of the Godzilla films. I have compiled a list of all English-language reconstructions of Toho films. Most of these I have (the most recent HD version if available). I have adopted the format of Title, Distributor and Reconstruction name.

While several of these recons are available through PMs or links on this site, many are not. Several are only available on private torrent trackers. If the reconstruction has a thread on TK, I have given the link.

I hope this topic can become a sticky, but I understand that stickying it may not be wise. I have not included any reconstructions that are unreleased as of this date. I will update the list when new reconstructions are released. Assume all are in Standard Definition (SD) unless I have designated High Definition (HD).

Thank you so much for compiling this list, Great Hierophant!

I've been a long-time follower of this site since 2005, but don't seem to make it to the forum section often enough. I first discovered Red Menace's fantastic reconstructions 2 years ago, and have loved every single one of them! However, these other reconstructions in this list had gone unnoticed by myself for whatever reason. I have sent PMs to the appropriate parties so hopefully soon I will be having another incredible Toho marathon in HD and the original US dubs!!!

Additionally, I am curious to know of any projects currently in the works to be on the lookout for in the near and/or distant future, besides the Smog Monster project by goji 1986 (can't wait for that one).

Finally, I did happen to notice in another thread that TylerPreston20 has completed reconstruction projects for Gamera vs Barugon AIP Dub, Gamera vs Guiron AIP Dub, and The X From Outer Space AIP Dub. I would appreciate being made aware of any additional non-Toho reconstruction projects.

By strict definition this can't be a "reconstruction" since it's not reconstructing any version of the film that has ever existed before.

I have not seen it; I'd like to take a look at G-MAN's work but I don't have the disk space to spare. It's hard for me to commit to downloading 20+ GB files, especially sight unseen. At the risk of taking this thread off topic, how is it "the best version that has ever existed"?

It’s the complete film in HD (except for the English credits which are taken from the Sony DVD), with the far superior Titra dub. G-MAN’s work is excellent; everything is stitched and synched together seamlessly. Therefore, to me it is the best version that ever existed, as I prefer to watch this one with the Titra dub.
