Sadly, Japanese companies don't really understand the concept of free promotion. They fail to realize that people are advertising their product FOR FREE and not trying to make money off of it.

I gotta give you props Kami. This whole WTFU is what has stopped my videos. My very first review (Demonic Toys) got flagged (luckily Full Moon Features didn't act like asses), and then my "Meet the Feebles" review got flagged for my ending credits song (Rotten C*ck Suckers Ball) which is rightfully in the Public Domain. I hope you get this settled soon man. Luckily record labels are getting notices from their artists who can't even upload their own material so things might change....kinda. Psychostick can't even load music videos without getting popped. From what I've noticed, the biggest issue isn't always the Copyright holder's fault (though the Cool Kat stuff is totally his owner's fault) but YouTube's problem with automation. They need people to screen these things.

I can't believe what you had to deal with over your panel videos, what in the hell bro!?
I'm gonna start doing horror/sci-fi/kaiju/exploitation film reviews, check it out won't you?

I feel this holds back the kaiju genera, imagine how many people would actually be gained for a Gamera movie in the west if the trailer for the new Gamera movie was, shall we say, more widespread? Or how people would lose some of their assumptions of Godzilla if the Japanese films showed up more easily in searches than the 98 and 2014 film.

Or we might actually get some games localized if the trailers weren't pretty much made to play for Japanese viewers almost exclusively.

Yeah, it's ridiculous, but I just fully invested myself into my channel, so I can't quit now.

We need several things to happen. 1. Youtube to actually fix their system. 2. The government to actually update fair use and give us proper guidelines for everyone to follow. 3. Japanese companies to understand the concept of fair use. Toei seems to be the bigger jackasses of this compared to Toho, but I have dealt with Toho on occasion, especially when I first started out (I've got uncut versions of my KKvsG and GRA reviews I can't put on Youtube).

Were those uncut versions yanked down? I seem to remember seeing uncut KKvG footage in a review. Was that in the one you have up? It's been a while since I've sat down to your Showa reviews.

Well I have both the English and Japanese versions of KKvsG in my review as I also did a comparison from the two.

However, what I mean by uncut in my case is that my KKvsG review was originally 2 minutes longer than the version seen on Youtube because Toho, Universal, and another company claimed footage from it. The third company claimed my use of the scene of the natives dancing even though it was only 10 seconds of footage.

So far, so good...

Godzilla is dead, as dead as a door nail!! Toho brings back its second most successful Kaiju into the fold with a new line of Mothra movies. Is Rebirth of Mothra worthy of the Mothra name or is it just another forgettable piece of trash?

I hear ya. This movie actually has some nostalgic value to me, Saw it on the sci-fi channel one morning when I was a kid, then went fishing with my Dad and brother...good times.

While I work on Rebirth of Mothra II, Psycho Pass The Movie has just been released in the US. Is it a worthy follow up or should it have stayed in the bottom recesses of the brain? Watch to find out.

I've never seen Psycho Pass nor do I plan to in the foreseeable future so I can't really be excited about this, but if you like, that's great! no ill-will against you. I'm just interested in it.

Rebirth of Mothra was a successful venture, which drove Toho to release a sequel, this time with an entirely new adversary to battle Mothra. Is this sequel superior to the original or just another abysmal chapter in the mediocre trilogy?

So after seeing Batman vs Superman I wanted to do a quick video review to express what I liked and did not like about it. Short version, it was better than I anticipated, buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut...

Mothra Madness comes to an end with the final movie in the Rebirth trilogy. Is this movie a grand finale or does it swim in the sea of mediocrity?

and thus...the nightmare is over...or...perhaps...perhaps it has only just begun.

Jokes aside, this trilogy had so much potential and so many interesting ideas, but it suffered heavily form poor execution.

The positives?

-I actually really like a three of the enemy monsters, their designs are cool and I think they have a lot of potential, but again, poor execution.

-All the songs (the vocal ones) are a guilty pleasure of mine, I honestly find them very soothing and somewhat catchy.

-As I mentioned previously, these movies do have a lot of nostalgic value to me.

The negatives...? Well, you pretty much said it best yourself.

Now! Let's get back to giant flying turtles and annoying children protagonists! YAY!

Oh, and I forgot to mention but, there's something missing form all three of these films...what was it agin? Oh! yeah...THE SKREEONKING MILITARY!!! Seriously! Where were they?!

Holy crap, you're right, there wasn't a single military unit in these movies.

I think I'm going to do an anime top 10 though before I get back to the Gamera movies.

BTW, so my Zyuohger review was reinstated and my copyright strike was removed. So Toei has now claimed it for 20 seconds of footage (and its not even consistent footage) to get the video blocked worldwide. -_-
