From what I remember IT turns into a giant bird that reminds the black kid of Rodan but isn’t actually the genuine article, just a big bird. IT also ate a Klansman in that form in the 1930s while the Black Spot was burning down

Kind of a shame IT didn’t outright turn into Rodan like IT did the Creature from the Black Lagoon, the Crawling Eye, Frankenstein’s monster, the shark from Jaws, etc.

I know I have seen a lot before, but I'd like to get a collection together.

Dude has some really good art, had a whole crossover thing with Kong/Gamera/Shin, but apparently received some kind of C&D so this was the last "chapter" of the story.
