(Fanfilm) ''All-Out Monster War"

Hello everybody. I have always loved ''Destroy All Monsters'', and thought it would be a great closure to the Showa series. If it had been the last one made. Since DAM, there have been more great monsters made such as Gigan, Mechagodzilla, and so on. I feel that that movie being the grand finale is a little...lacking. So, what better way to improve on it by making a fan-film! Basically, I will incorparate as much stock/unused footage of monsters to create a sequel film. I know, stock-footage, but keep in mind that I will try to make it look as new as I can, by cropping it, flipping it, and a few other tricks to make it look semi-new. The monsters I plan to include are:

"Good" monsters:
* Godzilla
* Anguirus
* Rodan
* Mothra (Adult)
* King Kong
* Gorosaurus
* Baragon
* Titanosaurus
* Manda
* Kumonga
* Kamacuras
* Ebirah
* Varan
* Maguma
* Minilla
* Mothra (Larva)

Bad Monsters:
* King Ghidorah
* Gigan
* Mechagodzilla
* Megalon

If anybody has any suggestions on the plot or techniques, or has any monsters that they would like for me to include, just let me know!

This outta be interesting. Question. For the battles, will you add stopmotion with any figures(if you have any), or will you have one monster use an attack in one scene and have a monster react to the attack in another scene?

Thanks. I will be doing the latter. I just don't have very many figures, and plus, half of those monsters haven't even been made into toys! However, I will be shooting new human footage, and I may still use figures for distance shots.

Sounds interesting. Kinda like the Power Rangers approach, the way they adapted Super Sentai?

Also, if you want some original music, as opposed to stock Ifukube/other cues, I can do that for you. It won't sound like an orchestra, really, but I've done some neat stuff for AWMGodzilla62's Flash game. You can talk to him if you like. Just hit me up, give me an idea of what you want and I'll come up with something.

I just finished filming my first scene yesterday! It's nothing big, and it has no dialogue, but I still like how it turned out.

I had the same idea, but just with different monsters and no toy figures. Meaning i wasn't going to use toys.But anyways can't wait to see it.

This sounds great and looks like it's going to be a great finish to the Showa series. Maybe add Zone Fighter to the film but this has a soild roster. I think this will be the first film I burn to DVD when it's finished.

Thanks to everybody! I am surprised nobody has brought up Hedorah. The only reason I have chosen not to include him is because most of his final form footage takes place at night time. Still, I'll take suggestions.

I would also like to say I'm glad you made Titanosarus a good monster I'd love to see him and Godzilla team up. You could also use the Godzilla vs Titanosaurs footage and say Titano appeared to hold off the fake Godzilla similar to Angurius.

U know what would be cooler u get some footage like Godzilla vs. Rodan, Titano, Mothra, Kong, and Fake Godzilla vs. Anguirus and make it when Fake Godzilla arrives its an all out brawl between him and the kaiju

Any chance you can get footage of the Gargantuas in the film? Gaira had some really good scenes at the airport were it actually looked like a giant bigfoot walking among parked jet liners.
And some actual scenes of Baragon and Varan messing stuff up?
This sounds like a cool idea along the lines of AMDS Films' Terminator vs Robocop series of mashups.

Aren't there scenes in Destroy All Monsters that take place in the dark/at night? Like where the tanks attack Anguirus and Godzilla, or Rodan chasing the Rocket ship? I think Hedorah would put new gravity into the movie along with other monsters like Gaira and Baragon, considering that they actively attack humans. Perhaps you could cut scenes of Hedorah reacting to Godzilla's ray and the electricity that eventually kills it in a way that it looks like King Ghidorah defeats Hedorah? It would make Ghidorah appear even more bad ass, taking out a rogue alien life form that does not seem to be controlled by the Killaks. If there were dark scenes in it then you could get some good scenes of the Gargantuas crashing through buildings and being set upon by the military as well.

Wow, ironically I just shot a few clips at an airport today! Anyway, I probably won't be including the Gargantuas, since they just won't really fit for what I have planned. Good ideas for Hedorah, however. Baragon will do a lot more in the film as well. I have the exterior shots of a barn he attacks all ready to go!
