Demonic Battle! Hell vs. Vintage

1806

The Underworld, a vast dark dimension that connected every fiber of the cosmos to one another. In this realm where demons, youkai, and other supernatural abominations lived, were several great subsections, like Makai and the Abyss, the ancestral homelands of all demonkind. But by far the most imposing region of them all, the grand capital of the underworld, was Hell itself. Heated from beneath by the nuclear plant founded in the ruins of the previous Hell, the capital was a fiery, nightmarish city, where all the souls of the dead ultimately went. Here was the greatest of the Yama, those judges of the dead, and the very Ruler of Hell herself. And in the middle of Hell, was the great Palace of Shadows, where the Ruler of all Demonkind, Persephone, ruled. It was a towering and imposing structure that could be seen from all across the rest of the Underworld. It was a symbol of power and authority, one that few dare to question.

However, far off in the distance, standing up upon a cliff ledge, with a vast cloud of darkness behind her, was one such demon who was ready to overthrow Hell. She was a tall figure, of roughly 6 feet, with short white hair, pale skin, and a cloak over the rest of her. She also wore a pair of glasses, something that most demons frowned upon, for it was a trait of humanism, something they wished to avoid. Her name was Fiore, which she had named herself after the demon she had seen in the other dimension that was called, “TKFA”

“Lord Akuro, we are ready to begin the assault over here. Delta Team should also be in position by now.” She whispered into a small device that extended from her ear to the front of her mouth.

Good… Begin the assault then.” A raspy voice hissed from the microphone. Fiore took the microphone from her ear, turned it off, and put it into her pocket. Then, she raised up her hand.

It was the signal to attack.

From the cloud behind her, an orange beam shot out and raced across the sky before it impacted one of the spires of the Palace of Shadows. The spire groaned, before it collapsed, descending down to the ground below, where numerous demons were now panicking and running for their lives.

The battle, had just begun.

The dark cloud echoed with screeches and hoots as giant, demonic bats flew out and headed right for Hell. With wingspans of over 30 meters, these were far larger, and more dangerous than the average bat. The female demon leapt up and grabbed the leg of the largest bat, a 120 meter monster of a bat, and hoisted herself onto it’s back. As they flew overhead, the bats let out their horrible sonic blasts, tearing apart the city as they came. More and more bats poured out of the dark cloud, unopposed…

But Hell wasn’t going to go down without a fight

Above their heads, the bats suddenly began to hear the sounds of leathery wings beating, before a sonic cutter sliced through one bat, then another. Before long, the bats were getting sliced apart. In retaliation, many of the bat squads turned upward to take on the threat. Above them, were the Gyaos flocks, millions strong. These were the main protectors of Hell, and any who dared attack the city would be devoured and sliced to bits. The Gyaos descended from above, and before long, the skies were filled with sonic blasts and sonic cutters, bodies of Gyaos and bats alike falling down to the ground in mutual death. But no matter the numbers of the bats, the Gyaos hordes were far too great. Fiore ducked just as a Gyaos nearly slammed into her bat. She needed reinforcements, and fast.

A bombardment of lasers from off in the distance was her saving grace. The lasers flew into the Gyaos ranks, blasting them apart, blood and scales raining down onto the streets of Hell. Fiore looked off in that direction, and let out a sigh of relief.

Delta Team was now officially in the battle.

Portals opened up in the sky, and out of them flew the machines, large machines shaped like raptors. These were the Dimensional Beasts, or DAMON, as the other Vintage forces called them. Normally reserved for only the most brutal battles, their power was a cut above the average demon, and for good reason. With personal shields that could withstand a nuke at close range, tough hides capable of all but the most powerful attacks, and electrical tentacles extending from their thighs, they were the most powerful forces under Lord Akuro’s command. And now, they were ready to tear apart Hell’s defenders.

The Dimensional Beasts landed on the ground, then aimed their mouths upward and fired once more into the sky. Gyaos by the hundreds fell down, their hides and flesh melting from the power of the DAMON. On the ground, Hellian demon forces engaged in battle with them, but the DAMON sliced through their ranks with ease. For any one DAMON that was destroyed, hundreds took it’s place, as the power core that was inside each DAMON vanished almost immediately upon it’s owner’s destruction.

Back up in the sky, Fiore nudged her bat, then pointed it to the Palace of Shadows. With a responding screech, it flew off toward the castle, ready to slice apart the castle with its sonic blasts. But as it neared it, a large orb of pure raw energy flew from one of the windows of the tallest spire. The bat tried to roll out of the way, but the orb suddenly veered to the right, and exploded against the bat. The mammal was vaporized in the explosion, but Fiore, either by chance or by fare, was sent flying right into the window. Glass shattered all around her as she sprawled to a stop inside the room. For a few moments, she lay there, but then, slowly, she rose up onto her feet… and found herself frozen in place by a powerful spell. She couldn't speak, couldn't move, couldn't do anything... She was trapped.

In front of her, were three woman, taller than her, and looking right at her. One of them had white hair just like she did, but it was longer, reaching down to her waist, and her skin was tanned dark. She wore a …rather revealing outfit that left nothing to the imagination, and her hands and hair were adorned with countless rings and bands. Fiore recognized her as Persephone, the Ruler of Hell. The other two, she didn’t know, for she had never seen them before. One of them had long, golden hair, wore a white dress with a large purple stripe running down it that seemed to be a mash of western and eastern design, and had an umbrella over her head. The other had very short, pink hair, and wore a light blue kimono with a dark blue trim around it, a blue cap on her head, and she had a fan in her hand.

“Well well well, look what we have here? Do you know this person, Persephone?” The golden-haired lady asked, eyeing Fiore slowly.

“Yes, Yukari, I know of her. She’s the little general in charge of this attack going on. I’ve dealt with her several times in the past, but this is the largest assault by Vintage I’ve ever seen.” Persephone responded, her mother-like tone making Fiore very, VERY uneasy. This was indeed the 5th time Vintage had tried to take down Hell, but time and time again, Persephone had single-handedly blasted them away. And now that she had been captured, Fiore knew what was about to happen without a doubt. “Yuyuko, could you please get rid of these noisy pests for me? I’d like this rebellious soul to have a front seat to a power greater than my own…”

“As you wish…” The princess of the Netherworld replied, in an almost child-like voice, before she hovered out of the window, Fiore also following her against her will. The ghost raised up her fan, and a giant image of it appeared behind her. “Now child, watch as your forces are devoured by the Butterfly of Death.” Yuyuko spoke, her voice like the chilling wind, before she waved her fan. At once, hundreds of butterflies, more than Fiore could count, seemed to spread out from the massive fan. The butterflies flew off toward the battle. The Gyaos and hellion demons, sensing their presence, backed off immediately and retreated. This confused the Vintage ranks, until one butterfly landed on the nose of a DAMON…

And exploded with a force rivaling the eruption of Krakatoa, held within by a shield generated around each butterfly that expanded just far enough to include the poor victim upon explosion. By the hundreds, both Dimensional Beasts and bats were blasted apart and vaporized, and not even the cores of the DAMON’s escaped. Confusion and panic tore through the enemy ranks, and the bats tried to fly away from the massacre, while the DAMON all howled in rage and charged, plowing through anything in their way as they headed right for Yuyuko.

“And now, for the grand finale in the realm of the dead.” Yuyuko spoke. Once more, the fan raised up, and an orb of pure energy began to form in front of her. “Harrowen! Feast of the Vampire Lord!” She announced, in a voice that seemed to boom all across the Underworld. At once, the orb swelled in size, dwarfing her by a magnitude, before it flew forward with a speed that Fiore thought was impossible. As it flew, the orb changed shape, turning into a crimson butterfly that screeched into the sky, before…

BOOOOOOOOOOOOM.

A bright white light blinded Fiore, and a wave of shearing heat slammed into her. Her skin baked for all of 5 seconds, until she could see once more. She has horrified to see that all of her forces had been wiped out in one attack. The DAMON, the bats, they were all gone, with not even a bone or scrap of metal left, and yet, no damage done to anything in Hell at all. It astonished her. Never had she seen such incredible power before. For one to not only devastate her entire army with such ease, and yet not damage anything else was unheard of. Sweat was now running down her face, and her throat turned dry as she saw Yuyuko float back into the room, where Yukari and Persephone were watching.

“And we get another wonderful performance from the Princess of the Netherworld.” Yukari announced, clapping her hands. Yuyuko simply blushed in response. “But now, what do we do to her? Should we skin her alive and send both the corpse and the skin back to whoever she works for?”

“No. Instead…” Here, Persephone snapped her fingers, and Fiore found herself falling, falling, down to the earth below. But at the last moment, a shroud of darkness surrounded her, and she vanished, with the three women watching from above.

“Why did you let her go, Persephone? We could have accessed her mind and found out who she’s working for…” Yuyuko asked, tilting her head.

Persephone yawned. “Why bother on a fruitless thing like that. Vintage can’t do anything to us. So long as I’m here, they can’t win, so why bother figuring out who’s in charge?”

“ Besides, there’s still the problem of the three stooges you have as generals… Orochi, Ruko, and Dusknoir, who just so happened to have meetings to go to right before Vintage attacked.” Yukari pointed out.

“Don’t worry, I’ll deal with them soon enough. But for now, I still have use for them. I’ve known of their treachery for quite some time now…” Persephone responded. But back to the reason why I invited both of you here… The Feast of the Demons has just been finished downstairs. And Yuyuko, please don’t devour it all like you did last time, okay? Only have your fair share.”

“As you wish…” She replied. “Though, I do wish that Shinki and your shikigami hadn’t had business to do elsewhere. Otherwise, we would have had more than three people to share the food with.”

“Yeah… so much for Shinki being the Goddess of the Underworld… Ran’s busy taking care of Chen, and Persephone’s shikigami is, as you said, off with Shinki…" Yukari replied, and with that, the three went off, changing their topic to who was going to clean up the mess that Hell was in right now...

Fiore landed on her feet. Her eyes looked around, and she saw that she was back in the Dark Realm, a distant dimension inhabited only by-

I take it that the attack was a failure, as usual.” A voice rumbled behind her. Fiore turned, and bowed down before the giant, one-eyed cloud hovering just above the ground. A mouth, eerily similar to that of a human mouth, housed the sole eye of the entity, the Dark Lord Akuro.

“Yes, Master. Out of our total forces, we have lost 17% of our army. The enemy proved far stronger than we imagined. She had two woman helping her out, and one of them wiped out our forces like they were nothing…”

I see…” Akuro murmured. “So long as Persephone is still there, I cannot risk heading out into battle myself. But there will come a day, when Persephone is weak. That is when we shall overtake Hell, and bring forth a world without pain, without sorrow, without death… but until then, all we can do is lull her into a false sense of superiority with these mock attacks…"

“I understand, Master.” Fiore replied, before turning and walking away. Whatever she could do for her Master, she would try her hardest…And not even the Ruler of Hell would stand in her way to bring forth the perfect world that Akuro desired most…

Werecat vs. Spike

Spike ran through the now deserted streets on Ponyville, panting heavily with fear as he looked franticly around. The purple dragon, just this morning, had been doing his standard chores for his master and practical sister, Twilight Sparkle, before the lavender unicorn sent him to have the rest of the day off, and Spike planned to do that in Rarity’s boutique. He had noticed how strange she acted, how she had a heart-shaped scar on her chest, how she had claw marks across her face, and how she seemed to enjoy pain. Rarity always kept referring to herself as ‘Lil’ Miss Rarity.’ Although the other ponies, especially Fluttershy, were concerned with their friend’s condition, in a sick, twisted way, Spike was actually turned on by it. He didn’t know whether it was because it was like she was hurting herself for him, whether male dragons were naturally aroused by their females in pain and pleasure, or something more, but he still liked it, though the thought sickened him at the time.

Now, all that didn’t matter.

Now, late that night, a strange, jaguar-like beast attacked, slaughtering ponies left and right. Twilight had sent a letter to the only ones who could stop it, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, and in return the Mane 6(minus Rarity, whom they could not find) were brought to Canterlot to discuss how to stop a supernatural, half-human and half-feline monstrosity known simply as a Werecat.

The problem? They forgot Spike.

Now, Spike was running through the streets, feeling a pair of eyes on him all the while. He stumbled left and right, jumping over the bodies of dead ponies and trying to find a perfectly safe place to hide. Spike could feel his primal instincts slowly beginning to take over, thirsting for the blood of the bodies he passed. No. No, no matter what the situation, Spike would never feast upon a pony.

Then the claws struck.

Spike was sent flying forward as a swipe sliced across the back of his head, tumbling across the concrete before he rolled to a stop. Spike moaned in pain, feeling blood trickling down his neck. At the same time, he felt a fiery rage burning within him.

Then he saw it. A large, 8-feet tall jaguar-like beast stood before him. The cat was covered in blood, pony blood, and had burning red eyes stabbing into Spike’s soul. Although he hadn’t even heard of the name, somehow he knew it.

Werecat.

The Werecat let out a snarl as it slowly approached him. Spike whimpered in fear, curling up into a ball as he was ready for his death…

…then something snapped.

Wait a minute, Spike thought. That doesn't sound like a dragon. A dragon is FEARLESS!!!

Springing to his feet, Spike let out an enraged roar, actually taking the Werecat by surprise and causing it to take a step back. Spike puffed out flames from his nostrils.

“Don’t say I didn’t warn you…”

Charging at top speed, Spike leapt into the air as he slashed his claws across the Werecat’s face, leaving 5 bloody cuts as the mammal howled in fury before it swiped Spike out of the air, sending him slamming into a bench. This time, however, Spike felt no pain. No, he felt nothing but a burning rage. Springing to his feet, Spike rushed forward and rammed the Werecat hard, knocking it down as the two predators bit and clawed away at each other without mercy, ripping open each other’s flesh and sending blood spraying across the streets. The Werecat bit down onto Spike’s shoulder, savaging the flesh with canines that were 5 inches long until the dragon bit down on the Werecat’s right ear, shearing the tip off with jaws designed to crush through gems. The Werecat howled in pain, but only for a brief moment as it smashed it’s fist into Spike’s face, knocking him against the concrete.

Spike grabbed the arm before he dragged his claws down the limb, stripping off a slab fur and meat. The Werecat grabbed Spike’s legs before it swung him around and threw him into the town’s water fountain, dying the water a ruby-red. Spike jumped out of the water, stabbing the spines atop his head into the Werecat’s right thigh. The feline screamed in agony, but then slammed both paws down on Spike’s head, dislodging the dragon and knocking him down. The Werecat grabbed Spike’s head before it punched the dragon in the face repeatedly, causing his nose to crunch inward and sending blood spraying over Spike’s face. The Werecat released Spike, dropping him to the concrete as the reptile tasted blood. Not just his blood, but the Werecat’s blood, and the blood of all the ponies it murdered.

Spike felt energized.

Spike whipped his tail around, slicing the blade across the Werecat’s stomach. The mammal stumbled back, howling in pain as it doubled over. Spike rose upwards, cracking his neck around as he turned towards the Werecat, who can charging at him again, swinging it’s claws at him, aiming right for his skull…

There was a crunch…

…And the Werecat was left hollering in pain as Spike’s jaws crushed the bone within the paw. Spike then planted his foot into the Werecat’s face, shattering it’s nose and sending blood, mucus, and teeth flying out. The Werecat took an angry swipe at Spike’s head, splitting open his forehead and spilling out blood. Spike ignored it as he stabbed his tail blade into the Werecat’s chest, twisting around it’s demented heart as the cat refused to die. The Werecat grabbed Spike with it’s only working hand, and delivered one last bite to Spike’s jugular, spilling out quarts of blood as Spike’s spines began to glow green…

The Werecat, despite a mutilated heart, denied Death as it jumped forward one last time…

…and was engulfed in a stream of emerald fire.

The supernatural beast howled in agony, swinging it’s body around as the flames burnt off it’s fur, charred the flesh to cinders, and melted and warped the bone underneath. Spike watched on heartlessly as the Werecat gave one last roar, which echoed across Equestria, before it dropped to the ground, burning to ash.

Spike could only chuckle as he felt his body beginning to change, There was a price for battling a Werecat, and Spike was paying it. His vibrant green scales became charcoal gray, his spines became ivory white, his jaws elongated, several rows of teeth growing in his maw, and his eyes, once bright emeralds, now were soulless white orbs.

Enter WereSpike.

WereSpike grinned, sporting teeth coated in blood as he walked away, following a certain scent, one that did not reek of death, but of lust. A lust for pain and love…

…and it was at the Carousel Boutique.

WereSpike pushed open the door, seeing Lil’ Miss Rarity standing there, a lustful grin on her face. The white unicorn walked over to the dragon, wrapping her arms around the beast’s neck as she looked into his pupil less eyes.

“Mama’s so proud of her little Spikey-Wikey.”

Rarity began rubbing her body against his own, brining out a small growl.

“Mama’s been needy today. Care to help her with that?”

Rarity grinned as WereSpike merely nodded. The unicorn’s horn glowed white before she brought a knife to her shoulder, spilling blood onto the blade as WereSpike licked the crimson fluid off.

Rarity walked back, before she swung around and lifted her tail upwards.

“Now take me, stud!”

WereSpike grinned. With ponies like these, who needed dragons?

Fire Rodan and Angurius vs. Barugon

by Tim85

Earth-K, a planet that nightmares are made of. An Earth were humanity no longer exist. Humans have been replaced by vampires, werewolves, zombies, mutants, and psychopathic killers. But the true dominant beings are giant monsters. While there are monsters that only wish to be left alone, there are kaiju that seek to cause death and destruction. To counter this threat: the Justice League of Monsters.

Formed by the monsters that fought alongside the Justice League of America during the War of the Kaiju, these creatures wish to bring some semblance of order to the giant monsters.

It's been weeks since JLA and The Kaiju returned to their home Earth after assisting the JLM with the Secret Society's attempt to conquer all life. The Watchtower still had repairs to be done after the Society ambushed Monster Island and attacked the JLA and JLM. It was during this time that the League received a distress call from Chicago, a city that has a pact with the JLM to counter kaiju threats. The monster Barugon had appeared in the Windy City seeking to turn the inhabitants into food. Jet Jaguar sent the two available monsters: Fire Rodan and Anguirus, to put a stop to the threat.

The two teleported into the outskirts of Chicago. Rodan took to the air while Anguirus charged in the direction of their enemy. Barugon was marching down the magnificent mile when he turned to see the two Leaguers appear in front of him.

“Alright Barugon,” said Rodan as he landed, “You've gone far enough!”

“We're here to take you out,” added Anguirus. Barugon snorted at the two of them.

“The Justice League sent the two of you?” he sneared, “They couldn't have sent anyone better?”

Anguirus roared at the comment and charged the giant lizard, who opened his mouth and with astonishing speed, launched his battering ram of a tongue at the spiked creature. The end of the appendage struck Angy upside the head, causing him to tumble and crash into a department building.

Rodan took to the air and launched his Uranium Heat Beam upon Barugon. The creature cried in pain and locked onto Rodan. Seeing that the flying monster was out of range of his tongue, Barugon watched as Rodan flew past him, buffering him with high winds and debris. Once Rodan was behind him, Barugon unleashed his rainbow ray from his back spines. The large beam arched into the air and struck the giant pteranadon in the back. The ray hit with enough force that it stunned Rodan and caused him to crash into the top of the Sear's Tower. The flying reptile laid in the rubble of the top several floors, trying to recuperate from the blast.

While Barugon was distracted by Rodan, Angurius, taking advantage of the opening, curled into a ball and slammed into Barugon, forcing the monster into Water Tower Place. Anguirus lunged at Barugon and the two began to tussle in the streets. Barugon tried to use its tongue again but his opponent wouldn't fall for that again and the spiky monster stayed out of its path. Realizing that he needed to change tactics, Barugon stuck his tongue out at his opponent enough to release a blast of cold air in Anguirus' face. The blast stunned him and caused him to back off as he wiped his face furiously with his hands. Before he could react, Barugon began to pour on his frost breath all over Anguirus.

Rodan began to come to when Jet Jaguar contacted him over the com-link.

“Rodan, come in please,” said the robot, “You okay?”

“I've been better,” grunted Rodan, “What is it Jag?”

“I found Barugon's weakness,” replied, Jet Jaguar, “He can't stand fresh water.” Rodan looked over at the body of water known as Lake Michigan and a smile crossed his beak.

“Thanks Jag,” said Rodan as he took to the air after Barugon.

Anguirus couldn't move because of the intense cold that came from Barugon's mouth. A white frost covered him and the surrounding environment. Barugon cackled in delight over his potential victory of his opponent. Before he could freeze Anguirus, Barugon was hit in the backside by Rodan's beam. While the monster was stunned, Rodan grabbed the creature by the tail and began to drag Barugon towards the lake.

Sensing what Rodan was doing, Barugon tried to fire the rainbow ray again. Just as his spines began to glow, Anguirus, still with chunks of frost covering him, charged Barugon and sunk his teeth into his throat. Barugon cried out in pain as purple blood poured from his neck, forcing him to cut off the ray. Anguirus released his enemy, allowing Rodan to continue dragging the monster. In anger and frustration, Barugon tried to smack Anguirus with his tongue. This time Anguirus dodged the appendage and chomped into the tongue, ripping it out of Barugon's mouth.

With blood now pouring from his mouth and neck, Barugon grew weak and couldn't fight the two monsters pushing him through the city and into Lake Michigan. Once Rodan got Barugon into the water, Angy followed him in and held Barugon in the lake. Blood began to pour from all over the monster's body as he sunk in the water.

“You two haven't won!” yelled out Barugon defiantly, “I'll be back! This isn't the end!”

“Says the one who's bleeding to death from fresh water,” fired back Anguirus. Rodan then fired beam at Barugon, who cries of pain from just the water grew deafening as the beam laced into him. The combination was too much for the monster and Barugon began to sink beneath the surface of the lake, dead and defeated. Rodan and Anguirus roared in victory as the two of them were teleported back to the Watchtower.

Once there, the two reported to the Monitor Womb where Jet Jaguar was seated, keeping an eye on the activity all over the planet.

“Welcome back you two,” said Jag as Rodan and Anguirus entered the room. “Chicago sends their thanks for stopping Barugon and some frustration over the destruction caused.”

“What do they expect?” said Rodan shaking his head, “Us to tiptoe around the city?”

“Yeah,” said Angy, “Hey Jag, has Kaiju sent any messages while we're gone?”

“No,” said Jet Jaguar.

“You miss him?” asked Rodan.

“Yeah I do,” he replied, “Tim actually treats me with some respect, sometimes more than I get from the rest of you.”

“You need to check into sick bay Angurius,” interrupted the robot, “To make sure you're okay after getting nearly frozen to death.”

“I'm fine,” fired back the spiky monster.

“Still,” replied the robot, “Better safe then sorry.” Anguirus grumbled to himself as he turned towards the door.

“Like I said, “Anguirus muttered under his breath as he left the room, “Kaiju treats me as an equal, not some weakling. Why did he have to leave for that Wonder Woman?” Rodan then approached the seat where Jet Jagaur was sitting.

“What do you have for me?” he asked.

“Nothing right now,” said Jet Jaguar, “We still have some repairs to do.”

“I'm already there,” said Rodan as he turned and flew towards the door. Now that the room was silent again, Jet Jaguar could get back to focusing on any global threats.

All of the G-graspers watched intently as the Dimension Tide began to absorb energy, ready to show off its amazing power. They prayed it wouldn’t be like last time; that giant bug had been a pain to take care of, and its battle with Godzilla had resulted in major damage to Tokyo. They looked around the giant, open field. No one but them was here, not even the animals. They must have been scared off.

Turning their attention back to the Dimension Tide, the G-graspers held their breath as the cannon like structure began to suck in light particles, a whirling noise filling the air. This continued for a few more seconds before a small, black sphere was shot out of the opening, speeding by everyone. All heads turned to where it stopped, and watched in awe as it began to suck in everything around it. No one was sure where all the things went; they did know that Godzilla had somehow escaped his black hole prison – that’s why they were trying to reboot the project, only have better results this time around.

Unfortunately, the results were not that different.

Everyone watched as the black hole shrunk in size, until it completely disappeared. Still, no one said a word. All eyes focused on where the black hole had disappeared. They waited, with no sign of what they were trying to avoid.

“Alright, clear out!” A soldier ordered, only to hear a high pitched scream fill the air. He turned to his left and saw the G-graspers looking in horror where the black hole had been fired. He turned around, and felt his blood turn cold as he watched the air begin to warp and move about.

“Cancel out the effects!” He called frantically to the scientists near the Dimension Tide.

“We can’t!” One man called out, “It’s too late!”

Suddenly, a high pitched shriek filled the air, silencing everyone. People stopped talking. Radios shut off. Birds stopped chirping. Even the machine stopped the noise it made when cooling down. Looking at the warped area of air, everyone felt their stomach twist and churn in horror as two gigantic pincers came through the portal, followed by a large head with two blood red eyes. Below the eyes was a mouth, two rows of razor sharp teeth jutting out everywhere. Soon, the rest of the purplish-brown body followed, showing off enormous wings and a long tail, a pointed stinger on the end.

Megaguirus stretched her giant wings before letting out another loud cry, shaking the people below to their very cores. Turning her head, the insect queen smirked at the small humans below. Crying out again, Megaguirus flapped her enormous wings and soared over them at astounding speeds, the winds knocking over tents, people and the Dimension Tide. She cackled as she swooped around and let her pincer graze the Earth below, killing a few people before she moved upwards.

Megaguirus scanned the new landscape she had arrived in; there were not as many trees and no dinosaurs either. Slightly disappointed that her dinosaur meals were nowhere to be seen, Megaguirus noticed there were no Rodan’s either! She smiled to herself; this world was hers!

Suddenly, and blue light in the corner of her eye caught her attention. The sadistic kaiju turned around and faced the source, shocked to see it was from a thin line that had seemingly torn throw the air. Megaguirus watched in awe as the line seemed to open up, tearing a huge gap in the air. The inside was revealed to be a slightly dark blue color, with strange patterns floating about.

Megaguirus cried out in shock as a figure appeared in the entrance of the blue portal, angrily roaring at her. Shocked, Megaguirus backed away in fright as the four legged beast floated out of the strange place, its red eyes seething with hatred. It’s long, blue body nearly glowed in the sunlight, with its tail swishing behind it.

Dialga, controller of time, roared out at the prehistoric fiend.

Below, the G-graspers looked up in awe. What kaiju was this? Was it another accident of the Dimension Tide? When looking at the screen on the Dimension Tide, it was revealed this creature was from another dimension, leading to even more confusion.

Dialga glared at the stunned Megaguirus, who floated around silently, studying this new creature. Dialga had simply been in his own dimension, resting and making sure time flowed accordingly, but had sensed a slight disturbance. Investigating, he had found that there was a rip in the fabric of time. He could have easily closed it, had something not passed through. He soon found that the being was Megaguirus, and she was causing him a lot of trouble.

Megaguirus shook her head; why was she frightened of this thing? She was the queen! Flapping her wings, Megaguirus sped towards Dialga at an incredible rate, her pincers out stretched. Just as she closed in, Dialga easily maneuvered, sending her speeding away into nothing.

Opening his mouth, Dialga allowed a small blue sphere to take shape in front of it. In seconds, it doubled in size, then again, and again. Following this, Dialga launched the Aura Sphere at Megaguirus, shocking her. Luckily, Megaguirus managed to fly out of the way as the sphere flew by, dissipating into nothingness.

Dialga roared in frustration and charged at the insect, only to receive a gash to the face from her pincers. Dialga cried out in pain as Megaguirus appeared behind him and slashed at him once more. Angered, Dialga spun around and fired a hyper beam, the orange ray headed straight for Megaguirus. Megaguirus had no time to react, and was slammed against the ground, struck by the full force of the ray. Dialga descended quickly, charging up another Aura Sphere.

The Legendary landed right above his foe, looking down upon her, no mercy in his eyes at all. No one would mess with his territory and survive. With the Aura Sphere fully charged, Dialga prepared to fire it…only to find out he couldn’t! It was then he noticed a gut-wrenching pain in his stomach. Looking below his legs, he noticed Megaguirus’ stinger wedged into his belly, a blue energy flowing through her tail. Suddenly, the stinger ripped out, causing Dialga to cry in pain as the Aura Sphere vanished from existence. He felt Megaguirus fly over him and turned around, still ready to fight.

Megaguirus let out a taunting cry at the controller of time. There was nothing he could possibly do to get her! Jumping up, Dialga sped towards Megaguirus, ready to rid the world of her. Halfway to his destination, Dialga noticed Megaguirus’ stinger glowing an odd color…a light blue. Dialga was shocked once Megaguirus fired what appeared to be his own Aura Sphere! The blue orb of energy sped towards Dialga, the deity just managing to avoid it. Down on the ground, the Aura Sphere exploded on contact, sending debris flying everywhere. Megaguirus chortled at Dialga as he regained his focus, only for her to fire another sphere, this one closer to Dialga than before. Dialga unleashed a cry of annoyance before looking back up at Megaguirus.

Something was off though; Megaguirus wasn’t firing anymore Aura Spheres…instead the energy constantly was flowing to her stinger. Dialga stared at it, puzzled; what was she doing? It was not a split second later that Dialga figured out what, just as Megaguirus launched dozens of smaller Aura Spheres from her tail. Dialga let out a roar just before they spheres made impact, cloaking him in a cloud of smoke.

Megaguirus roared out before thrusting her stinger forward, trying to fire more energy balls, only to find she couldn’t. She figured she must have run out of juice. She didn’t care though; Dialga was long gone –

“SHREEEIII!”

Megaguirus looked on in disbelief as the smoke cleared, revealing Dialga in a transparent sphere, completely undamaged. Dialga stared back at Megaguirus as his Protect move faded away. Wasting no time, he charged the fiend, knocking her backwards. Before she could react, Dialga fired an Aura Sphere, which exploded on contact with Megaguirus’ hide, sending her plummeting.

A loud ‘Thud’ filled the air as Megaguirus hit the ground. All the G-graspers moved forward; was she dead? Their question was answered when the queen suddenly reappeared in the air and began moving for the warped portal she had entered through. Everyone looked on as she neared her escape, only for dozens of what appeared to be yellow ‘bullets’ rained down from the sky, knocking Megaguris down to the ground again.

Above, Dialga looked upon Megaguirus with disapproval; there was no way she was escaping now.

Megaguirus didn’t even bother to look back at Dialga. She flapped her wings and took off again towards the portal…only to disappear and reappear about fifty meters back. Megaguirus looked around, confused. Spotting Dialga again, she took off towards the portal, only to have the same result.

“That creature…must have trapped the Megaguirus in a time warp…” one solder whispered to himself as he watched the two giants.

Dialga quickly descended and placed his large foot on Megaguirus’ back, pinning her down after her third failed attempt at escaping. Pushing down, Dialga pushed Megaguirus away, leaving her skidding across the land. Raising his head, Dialga stood tall and mighty as the sky began to darken.

Opening his maw, another terrifying roar was released. Soon, Dialga’s entire being began to pulsate with light, the spikes on his back become more distinct and thinner.
Opening his mouth, a white, blue and orange tinted light began to fill the back of his throat, his body absorbing tiny particles at the same time.

A final roar echoed throughout the landscape before Dialga unleashed his ultimate weapon: Roar of Time. The dark purplish-blue beam quickly shot out of his mouth headed straight for Megaguirus, who had just become airborne once more.

Upon contact with the beam, Megaguirus cried out in agony; the pain was excruciating! Everyone watched in awe as Megaguirus began to rapidly age; her fine wings developing holes in them, her multiple spines losing their edge, the red eyes slowly turning pink. Soon her flesh began to deteriorate, leaving a big pink and red carcass. Still, the attack did not stop. The raw flesh began to quickly rot away, soon exposing bones. The bones stood for mere second before crumbling away to dust, blown by the wind.

Finally, Dialga closed his mouth, stopping the attack. His opponent was gone for good. Turning around, Dialga faced the ripple that Megaguirus had come through. He let out a roar, closing the portal immediately. Then, much to everyone’s surprise, the titan turned and faced them.

Dialga stared at the humans for a moment before walking towards them. Everyone held their breath, nervous of what was to come. Dialga stared hard at the team for a moment, warning them not to mess with his territory ever again. Looking down, he glanced at the toppled Dimension tide for a moment before stepping on it; crushing the machine.

Taking to the air, Dialga circled the area once, before letting out a final roar of victory. Flying upwards, the blue portal to his dimension re-opened, allowing him inside before closing quickly.

Maybe now he could rest.
"In order for the light to shine so brightly, the darkness must be present."
