I'm having a problem with my Blackest Night story. In the story, Kaiju recruits six members of the Justice League of Monsters (the monsters from WOTK formed their own League on their home Earth: Earth-K) to help the Lanterns fight the undead and each one is recruited to a Lantern Corp. For those who don't know each Corp. represents a specific emotion:

Red: Rage
Blue: Hope
Yellow: Fear
Green: Will
Indigo: Compassion
Orange: Greed
Violet: Love

Here's the ones I chose:

Red: Anguirus
Blue: Gamera
Yellow: Rodan
Green: Godzilla
Indigo: The Kaiju
Orange: Jet Jaguar
Violet: Mothra

I was thinking Jet Jaguar for the Orange Lanterns because he's used as the database for the League and always seeks more knowledge. But I'm not sure if that's the way I want to go with the greed emotion. What monster do you think would be a good candidate for the orange ring?

If you want more information on my choices, let me know and I'll explain them.

Is there a possibility that orange could be a turncoat? The reason I ask is because greed is a trait that I just don't see any good kaiju having...i don't know...If nothing else, just go with Jet Jaguar as orange. I just thought I should give my two-cents.

In the story, I was going to add that there was a fail-safe in all the rings that creatures of a certain size couldn't become Lanterns because they would be powerful enough to overthrough the respective Lantern Corp. Ganthet, knowing they'll need all the power they can get until the other Corps. arrive, deactivates it, and the rings replicate again and deputize a monster.
In order to keep Jet Jaguar from becoming too influenced by the ring, Gamera uses his power of hope to keep Jag on target with the mission; just like the Blue Lantern did with the Orange Lantern. When Gamera gives up his ring in the end to help Anguirus be released from the red ring, the orange light overtakes Jet Jaguar and he creates his own "Jet Jaguar-ized" versions of the monsters for his own JLM and attacks the monsters. When he tries to crush all the heroes with a ring created Watchtower, the constructs drains all the energy from the ring and disappears due to the 24 hour period of deputization is over.

First of all Ganthet is one of the Guardian of the Universe (creators of the Green Lanterns) who was banished and help create the Blue Lanterns. He leads a prominent member of each Corp. to Earth to combat the Blackest Night (dead rise from the grave). To help combat the dead, Ganthet activates the rings to self-replicate and deputize an individual for 24 hours.
The Blue Ring can show what the heart desires. The Orange Lantern has unsatisfiable greed because of the ring. The Blue Ring can calm that greed.
When a being accepts a Red Lantern ring, it takes the place of the heart. So if the ring is removed, the being will go into cardiac arrest. The blue ring can counteract this.

The story takes place during the Blackest Night saga and tells how The Kaiju, Wonder Woman, and the JLM handle it. Here's a summery.

In the middle of the night, on the eve of the day when they honor fallen heroes, Kaiju, Wonder Woman(who is now his wife), and Hippolyta go to the cemetary where Tim's family is buried. He lays a rose on his grandfather's, grandmother's, and mother's grave. He then takes rose to the grave of his former girlfriend (the one he tells Diana about), revealing she died a few months ago and he's forgiven her.

Later after the dead start rising, Kaiju returns to the cemetary to see his loved one's graves disturbed. He then gets a call from Wonder Woman, needing help with risen Maxwell Lord in D.C. By the time he arrives, she put him down for now. He unknowingly brought along his grandfather, whose non too happy about Tim abandoning his name, and his ex girlfriend, who goes after Diana for stealing her man. After they deal with Kaiju's past. The two join the other heroes to combat Nekron(main bad guy) in Coast City. Once the Lanterns arrive, Ganthet asks Kaiju to return to Earth K (the monster earth from Planet Kaiju still in progress) and recruit six monsters to help here on this Earth. When Wonder Woman (along with other heroes who've been brought back from the dead) are turned into Black Lanterns, Kaiju agrees.

After he brings the monsters from Earth K, they and Kaiju are deputized. Nekron, realizing the monsters could actually be a threat, revives the monsters that were killed in the War of the Kaiju to draw the monsters away from the Lanterns. However, Kaiju returns to Diana's side (who's wearing a violet ring) to stop the undead Xilian Controller out for revenge. After the threat is over, the monsters give up the rings to return to their home planet (already described what would happen after Gamera gives up the blue ring).

No. That sounds awesome. Seems like it'll be pretty intense. The idea of the living dead and Black Lanturns is very interesting, and I am excited to see what you can do with it.

Actually that helped quite a lot. It helped me figure out my matchups. For the first one you said for example: It'll start as Godzilla vs. Superman and then Batman steps in with his Kryptonite Ring to bring Supes down a peg.

How about Jet Jaguar vs. King Caesar and Sanda?

I will tell you, the fights will be like when they were fighting on the Watchtower, I'll touch on parts of the conflicts.
