I say King Kong is a giant monster, despite only being 25-30 ft tall. If you check the blog, I sort of define what a giant monster is: a large, super-or-preternatural being.

Kong is a large, preternatural being. A T. Rex, however, is completely natural. Not a giant monster.

So, think of it like that.

As a maximum size? Eh, I don't really think there needs to be one.
