Found a thing that bothers
First:

Ryu tried to save one of them, but a massive claw burst from the ground and took the poor guy away

Then:

"Great!" Koichi knocked over a organizer filled with various documents. "Rot in hell, King. I'm done here." Koichi stormed out of the room and met up with Ryu. They walked down a stairwell and outside into the cool autumn air.

"What did King say to you, Koichi?" Ryu asked.

at Hen + Tai = Hentai!! Yay!!

Well in the first scene it looks like he is dead. Then he appears again. Altough Koichi might have been high and has been hallucinating.

Sounds like a promising story in the making Caesar, but I've never thought of King Caesar as a bad guy monster but rather a defender of Japan & its people like in his original Showa era incarnation. For example, I honestly believe Caesar should have been Godzilla's final opponent in GMK instead of Ghidorah, as a Shisa beast Caesar would make an ideal guardian monster and is close enough in size to Godzilla to take him on directly (honestly hope to use Caesar in such a fashion in a fanfic someday lol).

P.S. on the off chance ya haven't thought of this idea already, I figure a good power for a modern King Caesar to have would be the ability to absorb energy attacks through his hide rather than his eyes and then fire the energy back at his opponent. Such an ability would allow ya to keep him a melee combatant mostly BUT give him a stronger defense against beam weapons. Alternatively, ya could just give him the ability to shoot lasers from his eyes at will like he does in the Godzilla video games instead, so he and Godzilla would be evenly matched in terms of both melee and ranged abilities and can exchange fire back and forth between tooth and claw battles.

That will all be explained at the end, but if you really want the answer, you should check out some Japanese mythology. It might clue you in. And yeah, KC should have so been the last guy in GMK.

Cool, I'm intrigued now thats for sure, would you recommend I go back and read Mechabra before I read this next story though? or is it standalone?

The only reason may be to understand the situation with the three main guys (Ryu, Koichi, and Manny [who is coming in later on]) and the monsters that have oreviously been killed*, but that last one's minor.

Yes! Oh--a little bird just told me that there is another monster outside the already deceased zombies...it's a good guy...it's a lost project...it's a synonym for castle...with Asuka as the first name...

*In order of death: Anguiras, Ebirah, Varan, Titanosaurus, Mechabara. The blue ones were in the unwritten prequel to Mechabara.
