The Promised Heir Discussion

What is this? Me, rising back up from the depths to do some writing? Impossible, I'll just go back into hibernation and not finish anything :P

Well, there you'd be wrong, dear reader. In the past, I have indeed been rather lazy when it comes to preparing writing, and real life has been a constant thorn in my side. As such, I am afraid any and all signups I have done in the past, will not be finished, due to a discrepancy between the quality of when those were written, and how things are now.

Now don't fret and worry, I am going to be bringing in high quality writing from here on out. In fact, I have a special project in the works right now, a little gift for everyone involved. The first truly canonical work of mine, along with a remastering of Sins of the Ancestors. A tale of prophecy, of sorrow and terror. Of Conquest and Fate, and Birthright-

*Smacked in the face.*

Okay, no ripping off Fire Emblem, but I trust everyone will enjoy what I have to offer, posted right now...

And enjoyed I did. Good to see the resident Shadow King back in action. Loving the story set-up, and how did I know Persephone was gonna be the ruler? Bit of advise for Karzahni...don't fuck with the mutes. We've seen how that goes.

Why thank you... I only hope you formatted your nomination properly.

Final part of the prologue, or Chapter 3, is up. Soon begins the meat of our tale... Of where things pick up in the modern day...

Then read through the rules carefully, and make sure you follow the template on the page GtK made.

Well, I think I did it right this time. A quick edit was all that was needed I think.

And Giratina93 or better known as Flygon King is finally back after so many...... years or whenever!

Glad to see you finally writing again and it's very nice to see I'm not the only real old veteran here. Maybe this will cause an event where the others come back.

Onto the story itself. It was a very fun, engaging read which shows a lot of promise for a big world for it's story and character. In which I'm very eager to read more.

Good job on the work and can't wait to see Book One continued.

Nice to recieve a warm welcome from a fellow veteran.

And the Interlude has been posted, the first of a few to come down the road. A side chapter where our eyes shift to a different viewpoint...

This is a great series, but I do have one major issue with it.

The beginning of Chapter 4 is what I have a grievance about. I think the way that Chapter 4 started takes away the importance of Chapter 3's ending. The ending of Chapter 3 could of been fleshed out more in Chapter 4, by at least granting us the kidnappers name in the least.

This is an amazing series though, and I hope it gets better soon.

I was wondering when we'd get to see something from Persephone's p.o.v., and was that a Crigan name-drop I just saw? Videla seems like she may be a persistent character in the story, and I wouldn't doubt her to use the two oni girls to her advantage against Persephone. Not gonna lie though, first thing that came to mind when I saw the name Kiora was the planeswalker from Magic: The Gathering http://mythicspoiler.com/bfz/cards/kior ... epths1.jpg

Ah a good old family interaction. Those always end well.

Nicely done chapter man and I'm eager to see more of the characters in further chapters.

And chapter 6 is up. This slow progression is all about laying the seeds down...

Must you remind us?! I kid I kid.

(on a serious note) couldn't you just reboot them at some point?

Nicely done chapter! Very good interactions between the characters and a sparing match between family? Sounds like fun.

Keep up the great work.
