DWC Match 1-Spinosaurus vs Velociraptor Pack

In the world of Dinosaurs there was always competition between predators and even predators and prey. Much to some peoples surprise the Predator no matter how deadly was not always successful in getting it's prey. There was once a medium sized Spinosaurus, this Spino had extreme badluck hunting lately as it got lost out of habitat some years back and could not find any bodies of water it eat fish in. It saw a herd of Triceratops one day and when an infant fell behind it went in for the kill but it was impaled in the arm and knocked on the ground by the mother of the baby Triceratops. Injured and without a meal it stood up and went off to rest.

Somewhere else in a far off area there had been a colony of apes. A relatively new and actually intelligent species in terms of survival. The apes had been known to travel in groups and settle in trees and forest like areas. Sometimes when cold they'd even settled in caves. However they were almost as quickly as they appeared going extinct. They had unfortunately been in the territory heavily populated by Velociraptors. Fast, Agile and just as smart as the apes the Velociraptors were picking them off easily and without any warning or pattern which made the apes uneasy and startle at the slightest noise or sign of movement. One night another attack happened and all the apes scattered. Three apes went off on their own into a dense forest thinking they had escaped. But a quartet of raptors was not too far behind them.

Meanwhile day had broke, the Spinosaurus had been awoken by a strong stench not far away from it's resting spot. The smell did not mask the familiar smell of flesh and to the, Spinosaurus whom at the moment was starving, food. It stood up and roared and began stomping off to claim it's meal. Meanwhile the apes thought they were safe they had stopped to eat and rest. But something was watching them from in the bushes.

The group of apes were walking around and eating leaves off the tree's when one of the apes was swipped aside into the bushes grabbed by something fast. The other apes panicked and began making loud noises and then another was taken into the bushes by something fast. The third and final ape was all alone now and was confronted by two raptors. Screeching in fear the ape leaded for the trees but one raptor Raptor grabbed it by the leg and pulled it down to the ground. The third and fourth raptor came out and were ready to feast on this ape. But unfortunately for both the ape and the raptors another predator was near.

Massive footsteps were heard. Louder and louder as the creature drew closer and closer. Trees tumbled down and one nearly crushing a raptor who moved out of the way luckily but was instantly snatched up by a massive Spinosaurus. The dinosaurian creature roared letting the raptors know it was here to steal their meal. The raptors roared and the Spinosaurus retaliated with a loud roar of it's own. The ape watched as the two predators began to battle over who would have his flesh.

Quickly two raptors jumped onto the Spinosaurus. One directly onto it's face and the other onto it's back clawing at it's sail. The Spinosaurus stumbled into more trees trying to shake them off but it was not going to be easy with their large claws embedded in it's skin. The third raptor was still focused on it's ape meal. But it was swatted aside by the Spinos tail as it turned around. It slammed into a tree crushing one raptor with it's weight then stomped on it's body to make sure. With a flick of it's long head it tossed the raptor on it's face into the air and caught it in it's mighty jaws killing it instantly. It turned to the raptor it crushed under its foot and tore its head off. Then proceeded to eat the rest of it's body. But it still remembered what it came here to eat. Looking at the final raptor which had recovered from being tossed across the area by the Spinos mighty tail. It roared, the raptor began backing up and ran off to fight another day letting the Spino have it's dinner for today.

Spinosaurus walked up to the ape, but the ape ran. The Spino chased it through the forest but the tree's so dense and big as it ventured deeper into the forest allowed the ape to get away from it's predator and survive. The Spinosaurus roared in anger. The Spinosaurus may not have gotten the meal it wanted, but it did get a meal none the less.
