I've been churning over story ideas for a while, and while I want to immediately continue the Overseer Trilogy, I'm gonna put it on the backburner for a while for something new. So now, let's begin this forum's favorite type of story...SIGN-UPS!

Summary: Welcome to the world of Remnant, a world filled with supernatural forces and shadowy creatures known as the "Creatures of Grimm". In the beginning, mankind waged a battle of survival against the Grimm before discovering the power of a mysterious element called Dust and turning the tide of the fight. Now, academies around the world train Hunters, warriors who uphold the peace by fighting against threats to the world, Grimm or otherwise.

But no academy is as renowned as Beacon Academy, and here is where our story takes place, following the students of Team ONAX* and company as they deal with classes, work, romance, and fighting for their very lives!

*ONAX is the only predetermined team name for 1st Years. Others will be assigned after the Initiation.

Now, before we get underway, I'd like to explain a few things:
Dust:

• •Dust is used as a power source for technology. Machines and weapons are powered by it.
  •Dust has two known forms: crystal and powder. The crystal variant is less potent, but much less volatile than the powder variant.
  •Dust is sometimes refered to as “Nature's Wrath”. It is capable of producing various effects when utilized as a weapon. Some examples: Fire, Ice, Lightning, Explosions, Repulsion, Propulsion.

Aura

• -Aura is the manifestation of an individual's soul. It can be found in all animals, except Grimm.
  -Aura is a quantifiable form of energy.
  -Aura can be speculated to alert those sensitive to it of danger.
  -Aura is capable of regenerating your own wounds more quickly, and protecting the body from attacks. Aura must be utilized by a semblance to do more.
  -Aura is somewhat well-known, but seems to require some form of training/activation to utilize. Signal Academy is an example place where you can obtain this training/knowledge.
  -Aura is only channeled through items and weapons through the use of a Semblance.

Name: Character's real/birth name. Aliases and nicknames can go here.
-While we won't strictly adhere to the naming conventions of the show, it is encouraged.
-Characters can be based off of literary/mythological figures (Ex. Ruby Rose,based on Red Riding Hood/ Pyrrha Nikos based on Achilles)
Occupation: What does your character currently do? Are they a student at Beacon Academy? A baker? A minion for some overlord/company?
Age: For students, ages range from 1st Years who are 17 years old (15 if they show exceptional skill) to 20 as 4th years.
Gender: Self-explanatory. And no, bread is not a gender!
Species: Human or Faunus (Humanoids with animal characteristics such as tails or ears). If you are creating a Faunus, include what animal they are. (Ex. “Cat Faunus”, or "Monkey Faunus") No chimaeras, please.
Symbol: A symbol is not required but they can add flavor to your character. Be as descriptive as possible.
Appearance: Describe your character's appearance. Be specific. Height and weight are always good. Scars, tattoos? Hair style and color?
-Make sure to describe the attire of the character as well. If the character has multiple types of clothing(Such as school clothing, normal clothing, and/or battle attire), describe those here, and when they are being worn. Images should use spoiler tags.
History: The history of a character will often dictate their personality. Be descriptive and consistent.
- For 2nd to 4th years, students are part of a 4-person team (Ex. RWBY, JNPR), each letter corresponding to a members name (RWBY:Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, Yang Xiao Long), throughout their time at Beacon, and form them during initiation. If they're not on a team, explain why (Did they choose to be alone? Did the team fall apart?)
Personality: Describe the personality of the character. How do they typically act toward others, and how does that change in varying situations?
Strength: Is your character strong? Agile? Extremely durable? Specialized in some form of combat? Intellectual?
Weakness: Weaknesses are opposed to Strengths. A character who spends all their time training in martial arts might not know how to use Dust/advanced weaponry well. Someone may have trouble talking to the opposite gender, or children.
Semblance: A semblance is a single ability that reflects an individual's personality. It is powered by Aura, and can control/manipulate that energy.
-Through the use of a semblance, aura can:
•be given a physical form.
•be expelled as a varying form ofenergy.
•be manipulated as an entity.
•alter the physical properties of other entities and objects.
•change its own physical properties.

WEAPON
Name: The name of your weapon(s).
Primary Form: Describe the appearance of your weapon and what it is capable of doing. Is it powered by Dust?
Secondary Form: If your weapon can change forms, describe how it does, and what its new form looks like and can do.
Tertiary Form: A weapon can have multiple forms, but it has to make sense! (Ex. A pocket knife cannot turn into a railgun!)
History: Detail the history of your weapon. When/where was it created and by who? Is it a family heirloom, passed down from generation to generation?

CHARACTER
Name: Jameson Powell
Occupation: Student at Beacon Academy
Age: 19
Gender: Science Fiction
Species: Human
Symbol: The Letter J
Appearance: Jameson always wears the school uniform. At home, at the academy...wherever. He is 6'2". Long brown hair falls over his green eagle-like eyes. He is toned, but not muscular.

History: Jameson is a slacker, and has been his entire life. His family has never been in serious danger. Joining the Academy was a decision he made when he turned six, the first time he fired a gun. Target practice, of course. When it comes to academics, Jameson struggles. It's his pinpoint accuracy with a sniper rifle that caught the Academy's eye. Since he first picked up a gun, Jameson has never missed his mark.
Personality: Smug, but silent. He lets his skill speak for him at the Academy. When he comes under pressure, Jameson grows anxious and shaky, mostly out of fear that he'll end his own hit streak. If he did, his silence would be shattered.
Strength: Tactical. Few people know how to set up a kill better than Jameson. Fighting hand-to-hand is not his strong suit, but he can bob-and-weave out of some situations.
Weakness: Jameson does not like to speak to anybody but his closest friends. He doesn't handle social situations well.
Semblance: When Jameson's Aura is activated, it transforms the Albatross Sniper Rifle into a twin-barreled explosive killing machine. It's good for only two pulls of the trigger (both shots fire out of both barrels).

WEAPON
Name: The Albatross Sniper Rifle (ASR)
Primary Form: The Albatross is a long-range sniper with a thermal scope on top of it. The barrel is painted dark red and each bullet that is shot has Jameson's symbol on it. The clip has twelve heavy caliber bullets.
Secondary Form: (see Semblance) The barrel of the ASR is expanded horizontally and splits into two red and gold barrels. The bullets that are fired in the Aura phase are explosive and able to penetrate most armor with ease.
History: The Albatross is Jameson's first rifle. He has tried others and none of them have worked quite like the Albatross. His father got him the rifle after he realized the potential in his prodigy son.

Uniforms: All students are required to wear a uniform. The males wear black suits lined with gold, accompanied by a blue vest and a white shirt with a red tie. The females wear long stockings an optional component, a red plaid skirt, and a brown jacket with a tan vest and white shirt. Outside of that, people typically wear their casual/combat clothes.

Semblance: Yes, as some characters' weapons are conduits for their semblance (Weiss Schnee's rapier Myrtenaster is a prime example of this).

Occupation: An intern for a local news press group

Appearance: Jay is 5'9 with combed black hair and grey eyes(to symbolize a black or blue "Aura") and roughly 150 to 160 pounds.

Clothing: Listed as follows
Type 1: School and casual clothes; a school uniform in school or a button up shirt with jeans and a jacket over that, that's either open or closed similar to my own clothing when not in school or work.
Type 2: Work clothes: A blue vest over a button up and a pair of black pants.(Think a modern version of Han Solo's outfit but with blue instead of black)
Type 2: Battle clothes, a long coat and a cloak with a shield, a helmet and a suit of armor.(loosely based on SotN Alucard's outfit of choice)

History: Jay didn't have the best growing up as few stood with him until he joined the academy and where he is now as a third-year student confuses him as much events prior also did.
This lead him to be more doubtful in the second year on top of his job as an intern on what to do, how to do it, etc.
And when we went to therapy one afternoon before he found work again, he explained what was weird about his life, powers, etc. to his therapist and his therapist, was amazed by the results, yet also fearful of him.
With that, Jay uses the the year to find out more about himself and his current being while adjusting to the lifestyle changes around him.

Personality: Jay is one of doubt and confusion through most hairy situations.
He is cynical and leaves nothing to chance, but always has a plan and will accomplish his goals at whatever the costs.
He is a fairly approachable person that finds himself solving more people's problems than they are helping him with his own.

Strength: Physical and mental powerhouse, and an adept swordsman with the ability to punch, kick or use any weapons save for firearms well.

Weaknesses: Not a physical one, but his sense of doubt against most odds does act as a flaw that penalizes him in most situations even if he's determined and has plans to come out on top in whatever the conflict or odds.
Namely by way of being overcautious when faced with more than he can handle and ending up blind-sighted when his plans don't factor in random changes.
While he is good with any handheld weapon used for hitting, his skill with guns is flimsier than a rookie in a shooting range.

Semblance: Jay's semblance: is a blue/black aura that is channeled into his weapons to alter how much power they give off as a "Desperation Attack" of his.

Weapons: I'll have two, one for up close and one that's more ranged and the second one will have three forms of power while the other has different forms in terms of how much power it holds.
Weapon 1: This one is a classic but, the Knife Flail with a standard steel chain and a dagger instead of a kitchen knife.
The Flail itself is a ranged blade and when Jay's Aura can channel energy, it can emit a blue or a black flame with black being stronger energy channeled in.
Weapon 2: The Tanto.
The Tanto has two forms, its standard Tanto form and the ability to change into a Katana.
The Tanto form glows with a blue light when swung, but while in Katana form, it can make like the Flail and channel a colored aura through it by way of emitting a blue or black flame or a blue electric current around the blade as he fights.

History: Both of his weapons are heirlooms from ancestors that held more power than he believed prior.
He held onto them until the day he found out he had powers and began training himself with these weapons while thinking he should be more proficient with them like his family were when he can find the time to train.

And now to introduce my character, Orion.

Name: Orion Arguros
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Height: 5’10”
Species: Faunus (Bear Faunus)
Symbol: A bear paw, but on both sides is the blade of an axe. Connecting all three are the dots of Orion’s Belt.
Occupation: Student
Appearance: 5’10”, tan and built rather athletically stocky, not like one would expect a bear faunus to be, Orion is a brick-shithouse for someone his age. Years of training both with his father and out solo in the wild against Grimm have made his already insane Bear-strength more than any Gorilla, Bear, or semblance-powered human could achieve. But just like a bear, he is deceptively fast though not as fast as those like fellow 1st year Ruby Rose. He keeps his hair in a short trim cut around his pair of bear ears, as he’s seen many a fellow huntsman snagged by the hair for the sake of style. While his face is quite clean, a set of scars that stretch from his right eye to just above his mustache serve as a cruel reminder of why he chose to be a huntsman...and why he has the vendetta he does.
Outfit: Aside from Beacon’s standard uniform, Orion wears a silver jacket with his symbol on the back over a black wife beater and pair of jeans held by a belt with his symbol on its buckle. On his chest are two tattoos, a bear claw with bloody slashes under the claws for his mother on the left, and a wolf howling over a moon in memorial of his brother.
History: Growing up in a town near the edge of Mistral, Orion lived in a family of just himself, his mother, and his brother. His father Leonidas is one of the Mistral’s best Huntsman, working as an agent to the Kingdom One day, Orion and his brother Carmine were left behind at home while their mother had gone out to fight off Grimm nearing the village when everything went wrong. A man Leon had put away for the mass murders of faunus, Apollo Feldgrau, had escaped from his prison and sought out the man who put him away only to instead run into the young brothers. Apollo had them outmatched in almost every way but was only able to subdue the powerful young grizzly with his paralyzing semblance. Orion could only watch helplessly as Carmine ambushed and scarred Apollo, who managed to pry the yelping teenager off and ran him through with his machete. Before losing consciousness, all Orion could hear was a scream and the plunging of a blade…
Years later, he gets into Sanctum and finds his footing as a huntsman-in-training in the combat school. He was second in his class to only one fighter, a Miss Pyrrha Nikos, as her bloodline seemed to ring true of almost untouchable prowess in combat. Now he has gotten accepted into Beacon Academy, where he gets closer to his dream of becoming a Huntsman to protect the people of Remnant…and looking to settle an old score.
Personality: On the outside, Orion is a warm, level-headed person with a smartass sense of humor and an air of honorability and wisdom to him. Stranger or not, he’s always willing to help when he can. Orion has always hated watching defenseless people suffer at the hands of cruel people, so to say he’s not afraid to go “Angry Brother Bear” is an understatement, especially for those he cares for. On the inside, however, is a ticking time-bomb that he must fight to control… literally a sleeping bear that shouldn’t be poked. Orion will go above and beyond for his friends and family, even if it means risking himself. In combat, he’ll tackle things head-on after getting a good idea of his target’s strengths and weaknesses, and can coordinate effectively with teammates.
Strengths: Physical strength, tactician, general combat (particularly Close-to-Intermediate range) tracking.
Weaknesses: Long-ranged fighters; Letting his emotions get the best of him, particularly anger: if he loses control of his anger, he'll blindly attack those who get in between him and whoever set him off the deep end; His caring nature for those close to him being exploited, and will take the hit to save a friend.
Semblance: Hyperkinesis- Orion tunes his senses and reflexes to greater levels than those of the fastest and most experienced huntsman, human or faunus. With this, he can react to the slightest muscle twitch of a foe’s attack, predicting the trajectory and countering it to do what he will in response. Not only are his reflexes and balance greatly enhanced, but his aim becomes flawless when he activates his semblance, making precise shots at almost ridiculous angles. This paired with his already absurd strength makes him a deadly opponent. However, heavy emotion and stress decreases the effectiveness, another reason why he tries to keep his emotions in check.

Weapon: Arktouros
Primary Form- Gauntlets: A pair of silver and black gauntlets, each bearing one of the two axe blades. The poll of each blade holds grappling cables, the function being activated in either fist by a button via the Dust and/or bolt cylinders now acting as “nickel rolls” in the gauntlets’ palms (The Dust Cylinder is in the left palm, and the bolts in the right palm). A downside to this form is that the Dust cylinder has no effect in this form. The Crossbow form and Axe form can split down the middle to form the bladed gauntlets. When shifting into the other two forms, both hands take their respective sides while the Dust Cylinder is shifted above the bolt cylinder.
Secondary Form- Gatling Crossbow: The ax-pole shortens and bulks as Arktouros turns into its Gatling Crossbow form. The Dust cylinder is now directly in front of the bolt cartridge for Dust arrowhead selection prior to firing the magnet-powered steel bolts. The blades of the axe now the limbs and double as grappling hooks via cables within the upper-part of the assembly separate from the main firing mechanism for when Orion needs to take a vantage point or save himself in freefall. It has a switch for two firing modes (not including the safety option): one-shot or full auto. The sight is that of a typical ring sight with an iron sight just above the arrow track. It splits down the middle when going into Gauntlet form, with the left half and Dust cylinder forming the left gauntlet, and the right half and bolt cartridge going to the right gauntlet.
Tertiary form-Double Bladed Ax: A 5ft long double-bladed ax with the revolving Dust cylinder above the upper grip (which holds the selection trigger for Dust effects) and the bolt cartridge in between both upper and lower grips (the latter of which holds the transform mechanism). When Arktouros shifts into Gauntlet form, it splits down the middle just like the Crossbow form.
Weapon History: Arktouros was originally his father’s weapon; a crossbow forming that would shift into a single bladed ax that he wielded proudly in the war. After it was passed down to Orion, the young bear-faunus made some adjustments to it that fit his fighting style in the Sanctum forge. The idea of tri-functioning weapon wasn’t just his, but with input from his teammates at Sanctum.

Occupation : A groundskeeper for the academy, although he is rumored to be a dropout that stuck around for unknown reasons
Age : 20
Gender : Male
Species : Faunus (Snake Faunus)
Symbol: A pair of serpents, one green and one blue, curled into a broad spiral; is known to leave this carved into the desk of students who litter or defile the school grounds
Appearance : With a lean build and standing at about 5'6'', Vert is not a very imposing figure; could pass as completely human if not for a small pair of fangs and a forked tongue that tends to flick out when he is annoyed or angry; dark, medium-length hair and darker eyes; mostly commonly seen in the drab green jumpsuit that he works in, but can occasionally be spotted in a surprisingly sharp looking outfit consisting of slacks and a nice collared shirt of either brown or blue
History : Nothing cement is know about Vert's past among the student body, although there are plenty of rumors, the most prevalent of which is that he is a former student. It is said that he was a dedicated learner and a quick study, but an inability to deal with other people lead to misbehavior and his eventually exodus from the curriculum. It is hotly debated whether he was expelled or dropped out, although dropping out seems to be the more likely option as he is still on good terms with most of the school staff and does not seem to harbor any lingering negative feelings about them. Some of the nastier stories claim that his stubborn independence caused a mission to go bad and resulted in severe injury- even death- to one of his teammates, which soured the already strained relationship he had with his team permanently. It has been discovered that he is from a relatively well off family though and is not on good terms with his parents nor his two older siblings, both of which are already shaping into shrewd and merciless entrepreneurs. His family is apparently deeply involved in the production and commercial application of Dust. It is thought that while his elder brothers explored further uses for Dust, looking into the medical and chemical potential of the material while their parents continued to take advantage of the military and peacekeeping need for the substance, he was somehow 'demoted' to observing the effectiveness of already existing products in the field. This is supposedly why he was enrolled in Beacon Academy. It has been gathered through secondary contact with his siblings and their business partners that they look down on their sibling's choice to engage in physical labor and are quite open about it. It is wondered if he works as the school's groundskeeper specifically to spite his family, although he also seems to enjoy the job, so this is sometimes held in doubt. Vert himself has refused to comment on any and all theories and usually finds some subtle (or not so subtle) way to punish those who do.
Personality : Vert is extremely quiet and introverted, preferring to go about his business without crossing paths or exchanging words with other people. He is also extremely perceptive however. He sees easily into other people's souls and can usually tell when he is being lied to. He rarely finds use for these abilities though, as he generally doesn't care what happens around him as long as it doesn't get in his way. The most common interaction he has with people is silent, angry retribution when the school is defiled or mindlessly left in a messy state. He can hold grudges from such instances for quite a long time. But there is a softer side to him. He can't help but identify with other loners, especially those who are solitary due to fleeting confidence or misunderstanding and sometimes tries to help them in his own way: never in public, of course, but in the shadows. Vert has a hard time getting along with others when he is forced to try. He is not a team player in the least, preferring to do things by himself, though he does show a strong sense of knowing what he is and is not good at, so he rarely bites off more than he can chew. He is content to sit back and let others act without him if he realizes that he won't be much help. Just as he understands others well, he knows himself through and through. The difference is that he actually bothers to exercise his knowledge of self where he doesn't even try to deal with other people. He has no patience for arrogance and uselessness, though he is more likely to sulk about it than to speak out or do anything proactive to curve it. In his heart of hearts, he would like to openly help out and be more social. It's just that he struggles to balance being beneficial to others and true to himself and has settled on doing himself right over assisting people who he might not get along with.
Strength : Vert is more athletic than his thin frame would suggest, showing great quickness of foot and surprising brute strength, although he is hardly a bruiser. And because he works outside and with his hands for a living, he is both strong in body and quick in reflexes. He excels at reading enemy movements and then countering preemptively with rapid, decisive attacks that favor approach from the back or side rather than the front. This also makes him quite difficult to hit. He is also usually very aware of his surroundings.
Weakness : Though agile and clever with both his hands and his weapon, he falters quickly when struck. Despite his physical hardiness, he is not especially tough mentally, with a low threshold for pain and a tendency to back away when he feels threatened and try for another angle. He also refuses to work well with others, doing things his way even when it might disrupt his allies and tending not to share important information unless someone is in mortal danger.
Semblance : Although Vert is already quite Aura sensitive, he is capable of briefly becoming near omniscient at will; this is accomplished by extending his own Aura and 'pinging' off that of nearby plants, animals, and even other people to form a radar system; this maps out his surrounding for far further than what could be seen by eye and is especially effective at seeking out Grimm, as they appear as 'blank spots' due to their utter lack of Aura; unfortunately, spreading his Aura so thin leaves him very vulnerable after and especially during the use of this ability; ironically, this means his greatest strength is more useful to other people than himself and that he must rely on the protection of his allies to even use it; furthermore, trying to reach too far has been known to cause him to collapse and multiple uses in a short period of time is almost impossible

WEAPON
Name : Hedgecliff
Primary Form : The primary function of Hedgecliff is not that of a weapon at all, but actually a large pair of hedge clippers used to keep the school looking clean and tidy
Secondary Form : By undoing a small latch that double as a hinge, Vert can separate Hedgecliff into a pair of long, single-edged daggers with semicircular indentions near the base of the blades for catching blows or cutting objects; the daggers are individually named Hedge (left) and Cliff (right)
History : Hedgecliff was originally a mere gardening tool until Vert modified it to split and act as a pair of hand-wielded weapons

... hope this works. I'm a bit sleepy right now, so there might be some dumb mistakes hidden somewhere above. Or in plain sight. I dunno. Tired.

It's all good Hayes. Trust me, I just clocked out of work and I'm beat. The only things that come to mind with Vert would be his history and his semblance.

-His age means he's a 4th year, and for him to be by himself means something happened to his team, (a mission gone wrong perhaps? One hell of a fallout?). All students are part of a 4-person team (Ex. JNPR, CRDL, RWBY, CVFY), each letter corresponding to a members name (RWBY:Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, Yang Xiao Long), throughout their time at Beacon, and form them during initiation. And what's his family's business? Are they in the Dust producing business, weapon part manufacturers, etc.?

-His semblance is a nice start, and given his description and that all living things have an aura with the exception of the Grimm, I figure his semblance would be like using his aura in concert with a nearby plant...the plant's aura would act as a radar of sorts and feedback to him what's nearby (be it resources, enemies, or allies). The drawback is the amount of aura it takes to do so, so if he uses it he'll need his partner or another teammate. He strikes me as the scouting type, so his semblance makes a lot of sense.

Name: Marian Alexander
Call Name: The Red Knight
Occupation: Student at Beacon Academy
Age: 17
Gender: Shrek (Kidding, Female)
Species: Human
Symbol: Templar Helmet (Sorta like this http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Templar ... _Age_II%29 except colored red)
Appearance: Has long black hair with a two streaks of white running down each side. White colored skin with brown eyes and standing at 5'7 feet. Wears the school uniform when need be, but during leisure hours or just hanging out with friends, Marian wears a purple turtleneck sweater with a black shirt underneath and regular blue jeans.

History: Born in a small town that was in constant danger from all sorts of attacks, Marian was trained at the early age of five of combat of hand to hand and her very own weapon, TRF. She was also trained in making sure non combatants are always protected and that she would always focus on civilians as her primary goal for defending. Over the years from her being in the support ranks of staying in the hear of the village, she has been upon of the main vanguards of defenses with her taking on the bulk of the hordes. Among finding friends in the town in both defense force and civilians, she even found love with another woman by the name of Natalie Jenson, a baker. Unfortunately later on during an attack, the horde by passed the main bulk of the defense and killed over half of the population including Natalie. Marian and the other forces regrouped in revenge and were willing to make the sacrifices to defend the town, but luckily help arrived from other cities and even the Academy itself came to the town's aid. The remaining horde was pushed away and Marian mourned the loss of her lover. With the remaining friends and family she has, the Academy offered to take her in as they saw she had potential. Realizing she had the potential to make more of a difference at the Academy, she accepted so long as her hometown was given proper defenses. Marian started the academy all when she was 17 and now is the beginning of her story.

Personality: Marian is a defender of towns, her school, her friends and innocents. She will fight to protect everyone even at the cost of her own life to prevent more to be sacrificed in conflicts. Though she is incredibly loyal to friends, family and her superiors she will disobey the orders if those orders mean that an innocent is killed or even harmed. Besides that she is referred to by a by the book woman in which she does what her superiors order her to and advises her teammates to follow orders as they are. Marian is very hard working in school and during missions, however that doesn't mean she can't have a fun side. Marian loves to be around her friends and family no matter the hobby as long as it's not disrespectful or harmful to others.

Strengths: Very good with strategizing attacks, able to predict opponents attack, very good with getting people to help her, good with hand to hand combat and good with her very own weapon, The Rapid Fire.

Weakness: Refusing to have anyone help her if she knows that they'll get hurt or killed, jeopardize the whole mission just by risking to save a few lives and will go turn against her own allies if they refuse to save lives whether attacking or running off. Plus, she hates using any other weapon besides her TPF which could lead to her downfall in combat.

Semblance: When Marian's aura is activated both her and The Rapid Fire glow into a fire red where armor is fused into her for a few minutes to where she looks like a Templar colored red, but also covered in flames. With the armor fused onto her, she is given great defense and TRF in both forms is given a greater offense with the bullets and shield being incendiary. Hence where she gets name, The Red Knight.

WEAPON

Name: The Rapid Fire

Primary Form: An Assault Rifle that has streams of fire pained onto it from front to end with beneath the barrel of the gun, has a tube that acts like flamethrower. Hence the name. The tube also connects to small to medium sized tank that is attached to the rifle. It has two triggers with the top being the regular bullet firing and the other being the flamethrower. Both can be pressed at once.

Secondary Form: The front half of the TRF forms into a machete with it being inflamed with fire all around the blade with the gas tank in turn enhancing the brightness of the blade and could be used as a torch. The second half of the TRF forms into a black shield with streaks of red on with a Templar Helmet colored red in the middle. Along with it, the barrel of the gun is on the front of the shield along with trigger being on the back of the shield and with a click of a button, she can fire it. Like they say, "The best offense is a great defense."


History: Given to her as a young girl of the age of five by her father, telling her that she can defend the lives of innocents while protecting herself that can handle just about every situation. It is her signature weapon that can prepare her for a lot of situations and won't have it any other way with any other weapons.

-His age means he's a 4th year, and for him to be by himself means something happened to his team, (a mission gone wrong perhaps? One hell of a fallout?). All students are part of a 4-person team (Ex. JNPR, CRDL, RWBY, CVFY), each letter corresponding to a members name (RWBY:Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, Yang Xiao Long), throughout their time at Beacon, and form them during initiation. And what's his family's business? Are they in the Dust producing business, weapon part manufacturers, etc.?

-His semblance is a nice start, and given his description and that all living things have an aura with the exception of the Grimm, I figure his semblance would be like using his aura in concert with a nearby plant...the plant's aura would act as a radar of sorts and feedback to him what's nearby (be it resources, enemies, or allies). The drawback is the amount of aura it takes to do so, so if he uses it he'll need his partner or another teammate. He strikes me as the scouting type, so his semblance makes a lot of sense.

Ooh! I likez this idea. More radar and less Spidey Sense.

Name: Blitz Ashcroft
Occupation: Criminal
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Species: Human
Symbol: A two-headed, winged serpent. From one head shoots lightning; the other, fire.
Appearance: Stands at about 5’ 11” in height, and weighs in at about 129 lbs; pale skin; she has short black hair and pale blue eyes, which stand out in contrast to the dark eyeliner she wears; clothing consists of a purple corset, a black jacket, black pants, and black heeled boots.
History: Blitz’s past is a mystery. There are no records relating to her parents, her medical history, nor her education. Everything known about her is what was accumulated after she made herself known after her assassination of a crime boss on the behalf of a rival. Since then, she’s partaken in robberies, abductions, and other nefarious deeds.
Personality: Blitz has only been known to display two emotions: joy and rage. She’s arguably sociopathic as her ideas of fun often leave people injured. When not in her element, she’s calm and indifferent.
Strengths: She’s agile for a human, even without her Semblance active, and can handle herself in both close-range and long-range combat.
Weaknesses: Going into a blind rage, or getting too damn into the fight, will cause her to get sloppy.
Semblance: Blitz can channel electricity throughout her body, which can make her move even faster than she normally can. She can also funnel this electricity into her weapon, Nocturne, to give it a secondary punch alongside its primary power.

WEAPON
Name: Nocturne
Primary Form: Sword- In this form, Nocturne is a decent-sized blade (it’s large for a one-hander, but it’s just short enough to avoid absolutely having to be wielded by two). On its hilt lies a trigger that, when pulled, activates the weapon’s abilities. Normally pulling this trigger would just activate whatever Dust element has been placed in the chamber just above the hilt, which would then power up the blade (Blitz mostly prefers the fire element). However, should the blade be buried in the ground when the trigger is pulled, it suddenly becomes a weapon fit for crowd control, as powerful shockwaves bolstered by whatever element Nocturne bears emanate from the makeshift epicenter, and send whatever’s not the wielder off their feet.
Secondary Form: Railgun- In this form, half of the blade splits itself down the middle and opens up, and the hilt adjusts itself into a different position that would allow the weapon to be held like a rifle. Pulling the trigger this time fires off bursts of energy comprised of whatever Dust element Nocturne bears.
History: Like Blitz, Nocturne is an enigma, as it is unknown how the girl came into possession of the weapon. No company has come forward to claim that the weapon was of their design, and the craftsmanship seems to be too well done to have been something built from scratch by someone so young. This either means that the girl had stolen the weapon and permanently silenced its creator, or there’s more to the girl than being borderline sociopathic. In the end, though, it is agreed upon that the pair is a match made in hell.

Nicely done, Bdog. I liked the whole fight sequence for the character introduction. It was a nice, entertaining read and I'm really excited to see more of this story.
