I have one and half weeks left in my semester, so I'm likely going to devote all my time to my courses, one of which is for writing. After that, I plan on releasing "Post-Mortem". The rest of Season 2 will follow after that and everything should be out around the start of next year.

It's like funny because it like creates like a parallel between Tom and H.A.Y.E.S.'s predicament and my own inability to like finish episodes in like a timely manner.

Like.

EDIT: Took the opportunity to update the OP and also adjust the episode listing. Cutie Mark will be the last episode of the season because it's fucking awful. Okay? Just gonna put that out there for you, it's a shitty, shitty story. You will likely thank me for this decision when that episode comes out.

What... What the hell did I just read?

Honestly, I had no idea would I just read with the story you guys were actually riffing.

Anyway, the riffs were funny and the parallel was hilarious that you made up. Very nicely done my friend.

Also, about time this came back.

Having downtime between classes this semester gives me that opportunity. And I have a lot of downtime, believe me.

Pfft. Bring it back. Why would I bring this series back from the dead? You know what, they'd have to revive Mystery Science Theater 3000 for me to even THINK about bringing MFR3K back.

Well, if you ever need a riffer for some episodes, I'd happily join in.

After all, I think I got some experience from riffing on some KWCs in the Committee Reads.

Thank you for sharing this, Kiryu. I have a lot of free time currently, and would like to write some new episodes. If anyone of the core team is still active and would like to hop back on, you're more than welcome. I also want to extend an open invitation to everyone on the forums. Episodes need guest stars, after all (or core team replacements).

The OP has been updated with an explanation of where the other Season 2 episodes went. The first episode of Season 3 will give a more detailed explanation. The non-story reason is because I got a new laptop and never transferred the old stories back over. This is a fresh start, and a new exploration of bad fan fiction.

If you find something you want riffed, send it via DM to me. Five episodes is the plan, so I'll only pick the five best (or worst, in this case) stories.

A prologue has been posted for the series' revival. I haven’t written narrative prose since the last episode, so if the quality is lacking, that’s why.

Read before viewing this spoiler.
Spoiler:
While it may seem like Tom is the only survivor, the fate of the others is left ambiguous. Their return depends upon the interest of those riffers.
Despite the dark tone of the prologue, the series will remain comedic at its core and will adhere largely to the same format established in the first two seasons. I hope you all enjoy! :)

I think it's time for me to finally join this. I've been having fun with The Saturday Mourning Reads, so I think I'll take the writing version of riffing. At least for an episode to see how it goes for me.

Also, I got one question, and it relates to continuity. Why is Tom questioning the whereabouts of Warren? Didn't he come down with a sugar coma, and got taken back to earth to by Neil Armstrong, to treat it?

Uhhhh *scrambling to edit the story post* yes, yes, he did. I know my MFR3K continuity!

And welcome aboard the Satellite of Hate—or, should I say, This Island Earth?! *dun dun dun* I suggest creating your own character for this. Nothing too extensive. If you don’t, I’ll make one for you and he’ll be super lame.

Here's my character. I'm rather surprised I got this finished quickly, but anyway here it is. Let me know if there's anything you need me to change.

I hope you enjoy.

Name: The Trashman

Age: Somewhere between 63 and 74, no one knows, not even him. He also thinks he's at a least month's old garbage.

Physical Description: A short man, with short, brown curly hair. Wears a tank top and cargo shorts. Is also often seen sporting a trash can lid, treating it as a shield, inspired by Captain America. He may or may not have been a trashy superhero in his past.... and definitely not known as White Trash. Last but not least, he refuses to clean himself.

Personality: Has the mindset of wanting everything to be filthy, and will start screaming at anyone who dares to try and clean things up. Otherwise, he's a rather pleasant person to be around, so long as you don't mind the stink.

Weird Fact: Favorite actor is Randy Quaid, and is often seen trying to get him back into the spotlight.
