I think I need say something about this story, and what my plan is.

You see, this project is something heavier and deeper than anything else I've ever written. It's going to be gritty, dark, and as well-written as I am capable of making it. Unfortunately, this means I want to use only characters that I myself have created. I don't want to conform this story to user characters. I think it'd take away from the bigger picture and leave things underdeveloped and lacking.

Like I said, this story's going to be dark. Little to no humor this time. Yeah, it's a greater deviation from the TKFA series than Season of the Witch was, ironically enough. If you want a film comparison, take the psychotic bloodletting of Django Unchained and throw it into Mad Max and Death Race 2000. That's basically where this story is going. There's certainly more to it, but that's the best summation I have at this time.

I think, perhaps, there can be user submitted characters, but their roles will be limited. Mostly secondary characters or grunts. The customization will be restricted to appearance, weapons, gender, and some vague personality traits.

I'll update the OP and post again when it's time to submit characters. I'm sorry if this is a disappointment to a lot of you, but if you've enjoyed my writing before, I promise this product will be better than anything before it.

Why don't you just tear out my heart while you're at it?! Can't say I'm not disappointed though, as I had a few ideas for characters to submit, but hey, it's your story, so who am I to judge? looking forward to it.

Ah dammit Hayes. I had everything figured out but forgot that I hadn't finished TKFA 4 yet. There is an explanation for what happened, but I'm gonna save that for when I do release the final chapter of 4.

Glad everyone dug the first part of this story. I had a lot of fun choreographing that fight. After each attack, I'd evaluate where each person was and what they would likely do in that scenario. I wanted to have a complex fight scene, and I'm hoping to continue this kind of action through this whole story.

So the development of this chapter was kind of a funny story. So the chapter started roughly the same in its first draft, but Hayes, at the sound of his fellow officer's dying over the radio, began to have a mental breakdown. He ended up crashing with another car and killed the person driving it. Airako proceeded to flip out on him and the two began yelling about losses whilst Cesar watched from the backseat.

Then I realized how absolutely morbid and terrible that was and took a step back. I letthe chapter brew for a couple weeks, then rewrote it, And walla! The finished product, Hope you enjoy!

Even though this was funny, this chapter still had my blood boiling with suspense and having the feeling this is the end.

However, Cesar forgive the insubordination from an old friend in Macan, but go out there and give them hell. You were born to do this.

That was wrenching. The heroes of before not being able to do much, and their friend goes it alone. Really anxious to see where next chapter takes it!

At least Cesar didn't say goodbye. Because, and I quote, "If you don't say goodbye then, you aren't really gone. You, just aren't here right now."

Ha. Joke's on Cesar, going to face the bad guys alone in the hopes of sparing everyone else is EXACTLY what a main character does.

Maybe the real villain is -gasp- Cesar himself! TWIST.
