Magular and Gezora and Gabara vs Ultraman

Post by Beef Bigshot »

Before you read this, know that this match was originally written to be submitted to the K.W.C. Unfortunately, I deemed it unsatisifactory to my "standards." I ended up throwing this away after a i realized the story arc that was going to follow this match up made absolutely no sense :D

With that, enjoy

Magular and Gezora and Gabara vs Ultraman

A man stood on a hill and watched contently. In front of him lay a small business area being destroyed by a pair of monsters. The man’s name was Marcus and the two monsters were Magular and Gezora.

Marcus gave a small sigh as he punched in several commands into a device sitting in front of him. The device was a mind control machine created by Marcus himself. The man’s goals were simple, use the monsters to destroy this area. He was testing the limits off his device.

Marcus glanced down towards the bottom of the hill. Another man ran quickly and stopped, staring at the rampaging monsters. The man reached for something on his belt and grasped it hurriedly. He lifted the object into air above his head and stood for a moment.

Suddenly, with a flash of light, the man was replaced with a giant. The giant’s body was silver with red markings. Ultraman shouted-

"Shuwatch!"

-as he struck a battle pose. Marcus smiled and pushed several buttons on his device. Reacting instantly, Gezora and Magular turned, facing Ultraman. Magular belched out a roar and stomped threw a building as it charged towards Ultraman. Ultraman stood in place, arms raised ready for anything. Just as Magular jumped up, jaws parted for Ultraman’s neck. Ultraman shouted as he quickly grabbed Magular’s neck, throwing him to the ground. The monster roared angrily as his limbs flailed about wildly. Ultraman summoned an energized saw ring from his hand, ready to cut open Magular. He never had the chance as a strong tentacle wrapped around his arm. Ultraman turned only to stare straight into the bulbous eyes of Gezora. Gezora chirped at Ultraman as he struggled against the multitude of tentacles.

Ultraman grunted as he was barely able to release the energized saw blade into the several tentacles holding his body. Gezora chirped again in surprise as he back away, damaged tentacles twisting around in the air wildly. Suddenly, Magular charged into Ultraman’s side, throwing the warrior to the ground. Ultraman turned, face up as Magular came down on him. The subterranean monster screeched and started pelting Ultraman with his fists. Ultraman grunted as he brought up his arms attempting to block Magular’s attacks.

Ultraman finally retaliated with a quick and strong chop to Magular’s neck, sending the monster squealing off of him. Ultraman quickly jumped to his feet. He brought his fists down on Magular’s back, soliciting a cry from the monster. Ultraman kicked Magular and brought up his fists to attack again. He stopped when he heard Gezora chirp behind him. Ultraman turned quickly, sending his foot into the giant squid’s head. Gezora chirped out in pain as he brought up his tentacles. Ultraman shouted as he slashed at Gezora, creating an energy slash which dug into the squids giant head, creating a bloody mark on the monster.

Ultraman turned to see Magular roaring and charging at him. The warrior of light brought an arm back, summoning a ring of energy and flung it at the advancing monster. Magular saw the attack coming and leapt to the side, but he wasn't fast enough. The ring sliced into his left forearm and ripped it clean off the quadruped’s body. The appendage hit the ground and rolled several yards before stopping. Magular screeched in pain and began digging into the ground. Even with one arm, the monster managed to quickly submerge himself into the earth’s soil.

Ultraman watched as his foe finally disappeared underground. Being an experienced warrior, Ultraman knew to stay wary of him. He turned to see Gezora slithering around the side of a building, his tentacles going in and out of the building’s windows.

Ultraman began to lift his arms into a cross like formation but was caught off guard as a strong clawed hand firmly gripping around his neck. He was forced to turn and see his assailant. Staring him in the face was and ugly creature with green bumpy skin. His face was hideous and scrunched up and yellow-orange hair grew on the back of his head where a horn protruded. The monster’s roar sounded like a broken car trying to start. Ultraman couldn’t figure out if he was laughing or simply roaring.

The warrior of light desperately tried to free himself from the monster’s strong choking grasp. Suddenly, the monster’s horn lit up and electricity traveled down his back and into his arms, finally ending at his hands. Ultraman’s body began to spasm as the electricity ravaged it.

Gabara looked at the warrior for a moment, eyes narrowed, before he finally threw him into a building with a large crash. Gabara cackled at his opponent. Ultraman stumbled out of the ruble, tripping over some larger pieces. His color timer started flashing in and out. His time fighting was beginning to dwindle. Gabara watched him as he stood up trying to strike a battle pose. The green ogre didn't give the warrior a chance as he slammed into Ultraman with his whole body. The silver fighter hit the ground and rolled. Gabara quickly advanced, fists crackling as electricity danced around them. The green ogre grabbed Ultraman by the neck, sending a surge of electricity through his body. Gabara cackled as he flung Ultraman backwards.

With a crash, Ultraman hit the ground. His muscles ached and his body was still twitching occasionally from the electricity. Stomping brought Ultraman’s attention away from himself to Gabara. The silver warrior turned, sending a ring of energy at the monster. Gabara roared and opened his arms as if waiting to hug the incoming attack. The ring of energy slashed into the green monster’s chest, putting a burn mark on his chest armor. Gabara winced, obviously in pain, but he pushed through.

Ultraman sprang to his feet, color timer blinking faster than ever. He needed to end this fight fast. In blinding speed, Ultraman charged up to Gabara. The ogre monster cackled in pain as Ultraman sent several punches into his neck. As Gabara stumbled back, clutching his neck. Ultraman took advantage of Gagara’s pain and immediately grabbed ahold of his chest. The silver warrior grunted as he hauled Gabara above his body with all his strength.

With a crash, Gabara hit the ground causing dirt and soil to fly out into the air. The green monster slowly returned to his feet. Roaring angrily, Gabara turned and stomped towards Ultraman. He swung a fist at the warrior angrily. Ultraman brought up a hand to block the fist. At first he seemed successful, but gradually, Gabara’s fist began advancing again. Ultraman brought up his other ar, struggling with all his strength in order to not get punched. Gabara chuckled as he watched Ultraman. He charged up his other fist with electricity and slammed it into the warriors chest. Ultraman stumbled back in pain. The electricity added an extra lasting shock to the punch which was ever so painful.

Suddenly, Ultraman felt the ground below him shaking. The smart fighter knew exactly what it was. He backflipped several meters away. With a small earthy explosion, Magular’s head burst out of the ground, snapping at the air. Ultraman crossed his arms in a T-formation as the quadruped monster began crawling from the ground. A ray of energy lept from Ultraman’s hand and into Magular’s face, disintegrating it in a large explosion. The only thing that remained was a bloody stump in the ground. Ultraman looked up to Gabara, who was staring at Magular’s corpse. The warrior of light’s color timer was flashing blindingly fast now. It was time to end this. Again, Ultraman crossed his arms. Gabara saw the attack coming and brought up his arms in order to block the ray. The specium ray hit Gabara’s arms, destroying them immediately. The green ogre monster looked at its now bloody stumps in surprise, squealing with his peculiar roar.

Ultraman’s energy was fading. He summoned all his willpower, firing one last specium ray. The ray drilled into Gabara’s chest, destroying the monster completely. Ultraman dropped to one knee, propping himself up with an arm as he breathed heavily. He was exhausted. The brave warrior lifted his arms into the air, ready to take off. Just as his feet left the ground, several tentacles wrapped themselves around his feet. Ultraman grunted in pain as he hit the ground. Gezora’s odd chirps filled the air. The giant squid advanced upon the fallen warrior, smothering him with his tentacles. The appendages wrapped around Ultraman’s neck and with a flex of their muscles, cracked the warriors neck, killing him.

Gezora chirped victoriously as he waved several tentacles into the air. Nearby, Marcus sighed in mild depression. Two of his monsters had been defeated, but he had still managed to kill the giant. He heard a twig snap behind him and he spun around. Their, standing was a young man with a black visor. He wore black clothing along with what looked like ebony armor.

“Well Marcus, you sure have followed in you father’s footsteps.” the young man said.

“I guess you could say that.” Marcus said as he scratched the back f his head, wandering if he had done the right thing.

The young man chuckled, “Do you think its finally time you met your father. After all these years have you not wandered where he went after he sent Titanosaurus on a rampage. Come Marcus Mafune, we will take you to him. Bring your device as well, it will be….useful.”

Nobody ever suspects Gezora to be a vicious killer. Until it's too late.
