Kaiju Match #5: Godzilla and Gamera vs. Destoroyah

Godzilla (Heisei) and Gamera (Heisei) vs. Destoroyah

Death.

The only reason Destoroyah wanted to live so he'd cause misery and wakes of destruction all around him killing many innocent lives as well as all life in the process.

Destoroyah looked at all the fleeing citizens and all the destruction he had cause in Tokyo so far. This was what he like seeing. Destoroyah used his Horn Katana and sliced a building in half causing the upper half to topple onto everything that was below it before destroying the rest of the building that remained standing reducing it to nothing but rubble. Suddenly Destoroyah felt things hitting him and saw surrounding military, tanks, and helicopters shooting at the Demonic Mutation. Destoroyah growled in anger. How dare these pitiful humans even think of trying to hurt him or better yet try to take him down. Expeling a Oxygen Destroyer Beam from his mouth. Destroyah destroyed them all with ease before aiming for the Helicopters destroying them too.

Destoroyah let out a roar before proceeding to destroy more of Tokyo. However Destoroyah had suddenly notice there were no more fleeing Humans around and that every Human had been evacuated by the Japanese Army. Destoroyah would not let any life, not even a single one get away from his wrath.

As the Demonic Mutation was about to take even his first step to leave the destroyed city and find the remaining surviving citizens. A Blast of Plasma Energy struck Destoroyah.

Destoryah screeched as he fell down crashing. The source came from the sky as a creature resembling a Gigantic Turtle with teeth and two tusks sticking out of his lower jaw on each side came flying down. It was none other than the Guardian of the Universe, Gamera and he had came to stop the Demonic Mutation's destruction and to prevent anymore lives be taken away any further.

Landing on the Earth. Gamera examined the area to see if there were any Humans so he'd make sure not to accidently harm or better yet kill any by accident due to his enormous size. Realizing that the whole city was now a ghost town. They must of been evacuated. That was a good thing. So the Guardian of the Universe wouldn't have to risk any of it.

Getting up on his two feet. Destoroyah looked to see who was responsable. He was enraged that this Monster dared to even attack and challenge him. Letting out a demonic roar. Destoroyah prepared for battle.

Gamera responded back by letting out a roar of his own before shooting a few Plasma Fireballs. This caught Destoroyah by surprise as they struck him. Recovering from the pain. Destoroyah lifed his feet off of the Earth and then flew into the air making his way towards Gamera. The Guardian of the Universe seeing Destoroyah was flying his way towards him spat out more of his Plasma Fireballs, which manage to hit the Demonic Mutation, but Destoroyah just ignored the pain and continued making his way.

Embracing for the collision. Gamera felt the weight of Destoroyah crashing into him, but used all his strength to try and push Destoroyah back managing to make Destoroyah stop and threw him over his shoulder smashing the Demonic Mutation onto the very Earth itself. The Guardian of the Universe seemed to have the advantage now and was about to spew another of his Plasma Fireballs, but Destoroyah quickly recovered and expeled a Oxygen Destroyer Beam striking Gamera in the face. Gamera screamed in agony as he backed a few feet away trying to recover from the attack. Destoroyah lifted himself up and charged at his opponent.

Fully recovered. Gamera looked only to see Destoroyah charge at him. Feeling the weight of his enemy collide with him once again. Gamera took this as an oppontunity to attack. A sharp spike came out of one of his elbows and stabbed the Demonic Mutation causing blood to spurt out. Destoroyah felt a very sharp pain and wailed out feeling his flesh get pierced deep into him. Gamera was going to attack once more when Destoroyah used his Horn Katana and dug it deep into Gamera's flesh. The Guardian of the Universe screamed bloody murder as he felt it slice into his flesh. Spatting another Plasma Fireball. It struck Destoroyah stopping Demonic Mutation from processing any further.

Gamera looked at his wound and realized this was a very powerful foe. It'd probably be a good idea not to fight him upclose. So the Guardian of the Universe replaced his legs with rockets and took to the sky getting far away from Destoroyah. Destoroyah roared at Gamera insisting him to come over and fight, but Gamera didn't as soon began to spew out another Plasma Fireball, which struck Destoroyah once more, but the Demonic Mutation shrug it off this time. Realizing that Destoroyah was getting tougher. Gamera put his head and limbs into his shell and soon bursts of blue enery came out of his shell holes as he began to spin like a flying saucer making way towards the Demonic Mutation.

Before Destoroyah could react. He was struck by Gamera feeling the sharp edges of his spinning shell digging into Destoroyah's flesh causing more blood to spray all over the place. Destoroyah roared as he struggled to get Gamera to stop. As he was about to. Gamera in his spinning shell made a break way from Destoroyah and once more struck. The sharp edges of his shell once more drawing blood. Gamera continued this over and over again.

Destoroyah was getting frustrated as the Guardian of the Universe kept spamming the same attack over and over again. The Demonic Mutation was about to do something, when Gamera suddenly did a different tactic. Poking his head and front limbs out of his shell. Gamera released more of his Plasma Fireballs, only this time multiple of them. This caught Destoroyah off guard as the fireballs struck him. The Plasma Fireballs did indeed hurt as they scorched his very flesh, but he tried his best to shrug off the pain. If this Challenger was going to fight in the air. Then so would he.

The Demonic Mutation lifted his feet off the ground and rocketed himself into the air letting his wings do the work as he flapped them. Gamera upon seeing Destoroyah fly into the air flying towards him. Gamera quickly moved out of the way. Missing his target. Destoroyah turned only to see Gamera charge into him making Destoroyah lose flight.

Before Destoroyah crashed to the ground. He got his wings to work again and targeted Gamera once more letting out a Micro-Oxygen Beam. Seeing this. The Guardian of the Universe quickly got his head and limbs back into his shell just as the beam struck him. Sparks flew upon hitting his shell. Lucky for Gamera. He had a very durable shell. Destoroyah getting tired of his opponent, screeched and then charged flying at full speed. Before Gamera could see what Destoroyah was going to do. He felt something pierced into his soft underbelly. Gamera in agony roared as he felt the pain coarse through his body.

Digging his horn deeper and deeper. Destoroyah soon was about to do his Horn Katana and sliced open the Guardian of the Universe's stomach, but before he had a chance. Gamera quickly poked his head and front limbs out and with one of his arms grabbed one of Destoroyah's wings and twisted it. Feeling the pain. Destoroyah quickly pulled out his horn and howled. Gamera then splat out a Plasma Fireball onto Destoroyah's face. Destoroyah felt the fire from the Plasma Fireball consume his face and screeched as he began to fall before landing on earth. Seeing Destoroyah trying to recover gave Gamera a chance now and released as much Plasma Fireballs from his mouth as possible blasting Destoroyah with each one.

As soon as Gamera felt he shot enough out. He watched as Destoroyah was engulfed by explosions and dirt and rocks erupting into the air. When everything cleared up. Gamera saw no sign of Destoroyah. He must of completely vaporized him, but he wasn't sure though.

Wanting to take a closer look to make sure. Gamera landed and checked the spot. There was indeed no sign of Destoroyah, so that had to mean he destroyed his enemy. Feeling that his job was done. Gamera was about to launch himself into the air, when all of a sudden it felt like many things were attacking him.

Gamera witnessed and saw who was responsable.

Destoroyah Aggregates.

The Destoroyah Aggregates began attacking rapidly as they pounded their claws onto the Gamera. Gamera tried to shake them off, but they stayed attached firmly. One of them bit down onto Gamra's shoulder biting out a chunk of flesh. Blood poured from the wound. Gamera shrieked from the pain and grabbed the Destoroyah Aggregate slamming it to the ground, but it just got up like nothing happened to it and crawled back onto Gamera to join the others.

As Gamera struggled he fell to the ground as they surrounded his body. There were just too many of them. He had to break free from their grasp. So without a second thought. Gamera went into his shell and it began to spin letting out blue energy from where his arms and legs are. This loosened the Destoroyah Aggregates grip on him causing them to fly off as Gamera began to spin. Flipping onto his front. Gamera flew into the air and landed a few meters away from the Destoroyah Aggregates before poking his head and limbs back out.

Gamera watched as the Destoroyah Aggregates crawled towards him. Not wanting to go through it again. Gamera unleashed as many Plasma Fireballs as possible and watched as the explosions consumed the Aggregates. Gamera continued though wanting to make sure they'd stay dead for good. As soon as Gamra stopped. Gamera waited for it to clear up and didn't see them. He really hoped he destroyed them already. He was already weak from from Destoroyah Aggregates attack.

Unfortunity he didn't.

Destoroyah reformed back into his final form right in front of Gamera. Gamera's eyes widened as the Demonic Mutation struck. Gamera went crashing to the ground. Gamera watched as Destoroyah stood over him. His body towering over his. Destoroyah let a crackle out as he was to deliver his final blow. All Gamera could is close his eyes and prepare for death. He fought the best he could to protect Humanity, but it seems he had met his match.

Just then a powerful blast struck Destoroyah in the back. Destoroyah let out a wail as he felt blast scorch him.

Turning around. Destoroyah turn to see none other than the King of the Monsters, Godzilla. His long time foe. Earlier Godzilla had sensed Destoroyah and came to Tokyo, Japan to find him and hopefully finally kill the Demonic Mutation in battle once and for all. The two have encountered each other many times in the past and most fights ended in a stalemate. One time Godzilla was close to killing Destoroyah, but before he could. Destoroyah cowardly escaped. Something Destoroyah was ashamed of doing unlike Godzilla himself.

Godzilla looked over Destoroyah and was shocked to see Gamera almost dead, but was still alive since he was breathing. Godzilla did admit he himself did not like Gamera and the two have been long time rivals, but he definitely wasn't a foe unlike Destoroyah. Unlike Gamera. Godzilla absoluity hated Destoroyah with all his guts, but Gamera. Did he hate him? No. He just doesn't like him. It didn't mean Godzilla wanted Gamera to die. He was just a rival. Rivals and Foes are two different things. Godzilla showed Gamera respect for how powerful he was being able to go toe to toe with him when they encounter each other at times, but whenever each had lost to one another. One or the other never killed each other and spared each of their life despite the fact Gamera knew of Godzilla's wakes of destruction, but looking deep inside of Godzilla. Gamera knew there that deep down Godzilla isn't what he thinks he is. The two showed honor to each other and Godzilla despite their long time rivalry will not allow Destoroyah to kill Gamera. That is what others do, when they both show honor.

Godzilla let out an ear-piercing roar before challening his long time foe once more in battle. The two Monsters charged at each other colliding with one another as the two struggled. Godzilla clawed Destoroyah in the face, while Destoroyah attempted to bring Godzilla down.

As the two continued to fight. Gamera laid on the ground breathing heavily. Was he still alive? But how? Hearing not only Destoroyah, but a similiar monster as well. Gamera looked to see Destoroyah fighting Godzilla. Gamera was surprised to see Godzilla here. Did he actually save his life? Gamera felt the same way towards Godzilla, but he always thought despite everything and showing honor that Godzilla hated him. Perhaps maybe Gamera was wrong. The Guardian of the Universe began to regain his strength and soon pulled himself back up. Gamera had realized he can't defeat Destoroyah alone, but if he and Godzilla are willing to work together, both power combined that they both will get rid of this evil Monster from the very world. Gamera began making his way to join the battle and help the King of the Monsters.

Godzilla was thrown into a building and upon crashing into it. The entire building collapse all over him. Destoroyah approached and was about to unleash his Micro-Oxygen Beam, but Godzilla quickly released his Atomic Ray as his back spikes glowed blue blasting Destoroyah who backed away. Godzilla got up as dirt and rubble fell off of him. Godzilla released another Atomic Ray. Before it hit Destoroyah though. Destoroyah released his Micro-Oxygen Beam and the two beams clashed with each other. The two Monsters now in a beam war. It soon ended with a powerful boom sending both Monsters backwards falling. The two got up at the same time and were about to attack each other once more when a few Plasma Fireballs struck Destoroyah, which caught the Demonic Mutation's attention.

The King of the Monsters looked to see that it was the Guardian of the Universe who attacked. Godzilla was pleased to see Gamera was still strong to continue and fight only alongside with him. Knowing if the two work together. His long time and one of his most powerful foes, none other then Destoroyah will be ridden of once and for all.

Gamera normally would not approach Destoroyah due to how strong he is upclose, but with the King of the Monsters on his side. Gamera felt he had better chances of taking him on upclose. Destoroyah watched as Godzilla and Gamera approached him. Destoroyah instantly seperated himself into many Destoroyah Aggregates. Some going towards Godzilla and some going towards Gamera. Godzilla watched as the Destoroyah Aggregates crawled towards him. Godzilla curled up his lets and his spikes glowed the ususal blue color as he released his Atomic Ray blasting a few away, while some reached Godzilla and crawled onto him. Godzilla struggled before releasing a powerful surge of energy from his body the Nuclear Pulse. The Destoroyah Aggregates were blasted away, but despite this they kept coming.

Gamera knowing how his battle with the Destoroyah Aggregates went chose not take them head on alone and quickly replaced hs legs with rockets and flew into the air before any of them got to him.

Godzilla continued to struggle as the Destoroyah Aggregates crawled on him. Godzilla didn't have enough power to release another Nuclear Pulse so he had to physically get them off. Managing to get a few off. Godzilla was about to continue until all of them were blasted off of him by Plasma Fireballs. Godzilla looked to see Gamera land. Godzilla roared in thanks for the assistance. Gamera roared in return as he walked up to Godzilla. As they thanked each other. Their moment was interuppted though when more Destoroyah Aggregates surrounded them. Godzilla looked at Gamera and nodded to him. Understanding what Godzilla meant. The two Monsters unleashed their firepower blasting the Destoroyah Aggregates as much as they can. They were outnumbered sure, but with their combined teamwork. They'd be able to pull this off.

As the King of the Monsters and Guardian of the Universe were blasting Destoroyah Aggregates away. It was soon no use as more and more came and got closer to them. Soon they'd be crawling over on both of them. Godzilla wouldn't let that happen to Gamera and blasted all the Destoroyah Aggregates away from Gamera's corner.

Godzilla roared to Gamera. Gamera understood once more what he meant and flew into the air. and landing as far away as possible. Gamera watched as the Destoroyah Aggregates crawled all over Godzilla.

The King of the Monsters had enough energy in him now only this time alot more as he released a nuclear pulse so powerful. It sent the Destoroyah Aggregates flying really far away and was so powerful many of them were killed. Seeing that Godzilla had already unleashed his Nuclear Pulse. Gamera flew into the air and landed back beside Godzilla. The two were positive that they haven't killed Destoroyah yet, but were determine to end the Demonic Demon this time.

Suddenly Destoroyah once again reformed into his final form in front of both of them and struck them. Both Monsters fell to the ground. As Destoroyah was going to use his Horn Katana on them. Godzilla instantly let his Atomic Ray out, while Gamera spat out his Plasma Fireballs. Striking Destoroyah with such power. The Demonic Mutant staggered away howling in agony. Gamera got himself back up before reaching out his hand and helping Godzilla up. They both looked at Destoroyah who recovered from the pain and roared ferociously. Godzilla instantly charged and collided with Destoroyah trying to bring him down. As the two fought clawing each other. Gamera joined in attacking Destoroyah as well.

Both Monsters attacked the Demonic Mutation clawing, biting and everything they can throw at him. Destoroyah then used his Horn Katana and sliced it into Godzilla's flesh. Godzilla roared in pain as he back away. Gamera seeing this would not let Destoroyah attack him once more and stabbed Destoroyah with his spike elbow slashing it down cutting through Destoroyah's flesh as blood squirted out. Destoroyah staggered back as the Guardian of the Universe smashed into Destoroyah forcing him to crash. Luckily for Godzilla only a bit of blood oozed from his wound as it began to instantly heal all thanks to his regeneration. With his wound healed. Godzilla returned to the battle.

Gamera spew out his Plasma Fireballs striking the downed Destoroyah who was trying to get up, but with those darn Plasma Fireballs hitting him. It was really hard. Soon Godzilla stood beside Gamera and released his Atomic Ray blasting the Demonic Muation alongside with Gamera who was till spatting out his Plasma Fireballs.

As Destoroyah felt the combined weaponry of Godzilla's and Gamera's attacks. Destoroyah has came to realize even for a very powerful Monster himself. He was no match for the combined power of both the King of the Monsters and the Guardian of the Universe and was begginng to get very weak from everything the two Mosnters were throwing at him. If he continued to fight. He knew that this would be the end of him and the end of causing misery and wakes of destruction, which was his only reason for living.

Without hesteration. Destoroyah charged and shoved both Monsters out of the way and was about to lift off into the sky and flee. Godzilla and Gamera wouldn't let him. Releasing his Atomic Ray once more. Godzilla unleashed his signature weapon as it struck one of Destoroyah's wings. Destoroyah howled as he felt his wing blast off and pummeled to the ground crashing. With one of his wings gone. There was nowhere Destoroyah could go. Godzilla soon released another Atomic Ray blasting Destoroyah once more causing chunks of his flesh to fly off of him.

Destoroyah had never been in so much pain. He was so weak at this point. So weak that he could barely move or even reform. Destoroyah howled again as he felt Godzilla's Atomic Ray blast more chunks of his flesh off. Gamera soon spammingly release his Plasma Fireballs, which joined Godzilla's spamming Atomic Ray. Destoroyah couldn't bear with the pain. The very world was disappearing from his very eyes.

Both Monsters stopped and saw Destoroyah was still alive. Godzilla and Gamera decided to unleash their most powerful weapon.

The Red Spiral Ray and the Mana Blast.

Godzilla's spikes flashed blue alot brighter than before, while a bright circling light surrounded Gamera. Waves of Mana in the sky as the Guardian of the Universe absorbed it.

As soon as they felt they were ready. They both released thme. Godzilla unleashed his Red Spiral Ray, which was red unlike his ususal blue Atomic Ray, while the chest plates of Gamera's frontal body opened releasing a powerful yellow beam. Both powerful attacks struck Destoroyah at the same time. The Demonic Mutation did not have to roar in such agonizing pain as he was completely vaporized.

Destoroyah was no more.

As everything cleared up. Godzilla and Gamera saw nothing but sizzling smoke. That obviously meant they have did it. They had rid of one of the most evil Monsters to ever walk the Earth and he was finally gone for good never to cause misery and wakes of destruction.

Godzilla and Gamera both looked at each other. Godzilla had realized something. Perhaps the Guardian of the Universe wasn't to be not liked at all and maybe Humanity whom he has mostly always been terrorizing would perhaps not think he isn't as bad as they think he is just like Gamera does and might change their view towards him just like they do towards the Guardian of the Universe. After all. He did help Gamera stop one of the strongest Monsters ever to exist. That must show Humanity will see him as a Hero from now on.

And the only reason he caused destruction throughout these years up until this day was because Humanity never gave him a chance on who he was and judged him for the fact he was a gigantic Monster.

Gamera saw something in Godzilla's eyes. A change in him that Godzilla would perhaps stop wakes of destruction. The Guardian of the Universe knew this would one day happen. After all. Deep down he knew that Godzilla wasn't always like this.

The two have decided to put aside their difference and to this day became not just allies, but friends.

Now they had to go their seperate ways until another evil came upon this world.

Both turned around. Godzilla was heading back to the Ocean, while Gamera was about to fly into the sky only before he did. He heard Godzilla roar. Turning his head around. He heard Godzilla roaring in thanks. Gamera in turn returned it as well. After looking at each other a few seconds. They turned their heads back. Godzilla proceeded returning to the Ocean, while Gamera replaced his legs with rockets and blasted off into the air flying off.

Both knew one day they'd see each other again whether it'd be running into each other or if another evil comes.

To this day. An Ultimate Alliance has just been born.

Note: I couldn't add the word (Heisei) besides Godzilla's and Gamera's name since there is a limit to the title. So in case you guys are wondering. The versions of Godzilla and Gamera in this story is their Heisei versions.
