Ultraman (Showa) vs Megatron (TF1)

Arena: Tokyo

Rules: Scaled. All weapons are banned, meaning contestants must fight in hand to hand. Ultraman has 3 minutes.

Verdict: It would be really awesome to see how this plays out. Both are very adept at fighting in close quarters. Megatron was capable of manhandeling Optimus Prime (whos easly one of the best fighters in the movieverse) and tank a bombing run from F-22s as well as weapons that where supposed to harm Transformers with little to no visible damage. Ultraman on the other hand regularly takes on kaiju with his bare hands and wins.

Im leaning slightly towards Megatron though, because of his agility, ludicrous strength and agressive fighting style. If he can keep Ultraman at bay for 3 minutes, he can probably win.

Megatron 6/10

Ultraman wins. Megatron's gonna give him hell, but Ultraman was able to take on tougher kaiju in melee and handle them with ease. Megatron's gonna be tossed around with little trouble. Meg's will fight back, but he's gonna get beaten down into scrapmetal.

I doubt Megatron is going to be tossed around as "easly" as you say. This is the guy who was wrecking Optimus Prime in close quarters. The same Optimus Prime that was able to take down beings like The Fallen (Hes ALOT stronger in the comics. The only reason he preformed so poorly is because he was fighting the only thing that could defeat him). Megatron had half his head blown off and was still able to fight as seen at the end of DOTM. We also have to take into Consideration that Megatron is an intelligent sentient being, unlike a kaiju.

Missed the rules about banned weapons the first time around, anywho, that's actually a pretty tough call. Ultraman is strong as hell, but Megatron is more of a brutal fighter... I abstain for now. But I'm leaning a bit towards Megatron.

Since this is hand to hand, I can imagine Megatron winning. In fights against physical-kaiju like Gomora and Zetton, he was easily overpowered. When he fought, he ofen times grappled, which won't help against someone fast and skilled like Megatron. Megatron will hold Ultraman off, and the hero will go down with his time limit. Ultraman almost always finished with the specium ray, which makes this a lot harder than usual for Ultraman.
