VERDICT:
This match-up seems pretty even. Both combatants have the IQ of an acorn and both are pretty powerful. Red King seems more physically powerful but Megalon has the napalm bombs and Electric Beam to counter them. I don't recall Megalon using his Electric Beam on Godzilla but he does spam the napalm bombs like there's no tomorrow. I could easily see Megalon launching a napalm bomb at Red King only for Red King to pick it up thinking it was a rock, only to have it blow up in his face (which would probably be fatal.) I could see this battle going either way. Red King would do better up close in my opinion but from a distance Megalon has a good shot too.

These monsters are good at the opposite poles of attacks. Megalon has the weapons to cook Red King, and Red King will beat Megalon like a rag doll if it comes to close quarters. Megalon was losing to JJ, so Red King might have a chance of victory. Red King, though, wouldn't survive a barrage of horn beams.

I would go with Megalon for this match. Compared to Red King, Megalon has superior agility and weapons, which may be able to overwhelm Red King. Red King is considered to be a strong monster, but he usually picked on weaker monsters and he was brutally killed in a quick match with Ultraman. On both occasions where they fought, Ultraman's weapons were able to make the tide of the battle go into his favor. Red King, despite his so-called strength, would not be able to handle Megalon's weapons too well.
